Tribbie is the second Quantum Harmony unit in Honkai Star Rail. Like other Harmony units, Tribbie’s primary function is to bolster her teammates, but with a few unique twists.
Tribbie is the first Harmony that has a particular synergy with AoE Damage Dealers, while also functioning as an AoE Damage Dealer herself. With the increasing frequency of AoE-centric content and the rise of powerful AoE units like The Herta, Tribbie is prime to be quite a valuable addition to the game.

Tribbie HSR Kit Review (Trace Level 10)
Skill & Ultimate Buffs
Tribbie’s simpler parts of her kits are her buffs, which come from her Skill and Ultimate. Tribbie’s Skill grants her a status called “Numinosity”, which lasts for 3 turns. While having Numinosity, all allies’ All-Type Res Pen is increased by 24%.
In a similar mold, Tribbie’s Ultimate also creates a Zone that lasts for 2 turns and increases all enemies’ Damage Taken by 30%. These amplifying effects are very generic while also dependent on Tribbie’s turns rather than her teammates’ turns, allowing them to have 100% uptime and can help a wide variety of Damage Dealers.
Personal Damage
The other parts of her kits are focused on dealing damage on her own, with a heavy emphasis on working with AoE Characters.
First of all, Tribbie’s damage scales with max HP rather than Attack. While the Zone created by her Ultimate is active, every time an ally attacks, for every target hit, Tribbie will deal one instance of Additional Damage equal to a percentage of her max HP to the enemy with the highest HP on the field.
Furthermore, when an ally uses their Ultimate, Tribbie will launch an AoE follow-up attack onto all enemies equal to a percentage of her max HP. This effect has a one-time trigger per allied character, but this counter will be reset every time Tribbie herself uses her own Ultimate, thus she can do at max 3 follow-up attacks per Ultimate rotation.
Ascension Trace Breakdown
Tribbie’s first major trace grants her an extremely high stackable Damage boost to herself, lasting for 3 turns, and can stack up to 3 times, every time she triggers a follow-up attack from her talent. At max stacks, Tribbie will get a 216% damage increase for herself and this will be refreshed and kept permanent as long as her teammates can keep triggering her follow-up attack.
Her second trace gives her a max HP boost equal to 9% of all allies’ max HP while the Zone is active. Since Tribbie scales off HP, this is a boost to both her survivability and damage output.
Tribbie’s most important trace is her third, which gives her 30 Energy at the start of the battle, and also provides 1.5 Energy for every enemy hit whenever another ally attacks. This trace has monstrous value in an AoE-centric team with units that can frequently attack, such as The Herta, Jade, or Lingsha.
In the right situation, Tribbie can spam her Ultimate extremely frequently, which also reset her follow-up attack trigger just as fast, further improving her AoE attack frequency. Last but not least, Tribbie’s Technique will immediately grant her “Numinosity” at the start of the battle, which saves her a Skill Point within the first 3 turns.
Overall Review
In a vacuum, Tribbie works best with AoE-centric characters, especially ones that can take advantage of frequent AoE attacks like The Herta or Jade, making Tribbie a premium Support for such characters. However, Tribbie’s buffs are very generic and have permanent uptime. As long as her teammates can provide sufficient Energy to ensure she can get a 2 turns Ultimate rotation, Tribbie can easily slot in and provide great value.
Her damage is nothing to scoff at either. While Tribbie is by no means a fully fledged Damage Dealer, her damage contribution as a Support can surprise many people thanks to her high self-buff. This also gives Tribbie another synergistic aspect with units that can buff the entire team, such as The Herta. The frequent AoE attacks that Tribbie makes her a great asset in modes like Pure Fiction, or against bosses that are weak to continuous AoE attacks, such as The Wonder Forest’s Banacademic Office Staff in Apocalyptic Shadow.

Tribbie HSR Eidolons
Eidolon 1: Rite of Sugar Scoop

Eidolon 2: Guide of Dream Tour
The Additional DMG dealt by the Zone increases to 120% of the original DMG. When the Zone deals Additional DMG, further deals 1 instance(s) of Additional DMG.
Eidolon 3: Trove of Morning Glow
Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Eidolon 4: Peace of Empathy Bond
While “Numinosity” lasts, the DMG dealt by all allies ignores 18% of the target’s DEF.
Eidolon 5: Clock of Wonder Origin
Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Eidolon 6: Morrow of Star Shine
After Tribbie uses Ultimate, launches her Talent’s Follow-up ATK against all enemies. The DMG dealt by Talent’s Follow-up ATK increases by 729%.
Eidolon Priority
Tribbie has one of, if not the strongest E1 in the game at the time of her release. This Eidolon will deal a True Damage instance equal to 24% of the total damage dealt while her Zone is up onto the biggest target on the field. In a 1 enemy scenario, this is already an incredible 24% straight-up damage increase for the team, but with every additional enemy on the field, this effect essentially multiplies, with a 5 enemies scenario means it will deal 120% to the main target, making Tribbie one of the strongest character in the game when fighting multiple enemies.
Other Eidolons
Her other Eidolons are a lot tamer, but they are still quite decent.
Her E2 increases her Additional Damage proc from the Zone by 20% and also deals another instance of Additional Damage when it triggers. For Tribbie with a build more focus on damage, this is a notable increase in her output.
Her E4 is a classic Defense Ignore Eidolon on support, with a rather measly 18%. It is more valuable if she is paired with another source of Defense Ignore or Defense Shred, but on its own, it’s quite negligible.
Her E6 is a massive damage increase for her own, giving her an additional talent’s follow-up attack trigger whenever she uses her own Ultimate, and also increases her talent’s follow-up attack damage by a whopping 729%. At this point, Tribbie can be said to be a fully fledged Damage Dealer.
For Tribbie’s vertical investment, E1 is already enough and is of higher priority than her Signature Light Cone. Any further investment beyond E1S1 is not particularly as impactful.

HSR Tribbie Light Cones
If Time Were a Flower
Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 36% / 42% / 48% / 54% / 60% . After the wearer launches a Follow-up ATK, additionally regenerates 12 Energy and gains “Presage,” lasting for 2 turn(s). While the wearer has “Presage,” all ally targets’ CRIT DMG increases by 48% / 60% / 72% / 84% / 96% . When entering battle, the wearer regenerates 21 Energy and gains “Presage,” lasting for 2 turn(s).
Tribbie’s Signature Light Cone essentially allows her an immediate Ultimate upon entering battle with the flat Energy and ensures a smooth 2-turn Ultimate rotation with the energy from her follow-up attack. Beyond that, it also gives a solid Crit Damage increase to Tribbie and a teamwide Crit Damage boost. This Signature Light Cone is quite nice for casual players but not exactly a must to make Tribbie work, so it should take lower priority compared to her E1 for vertical investing players.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer’s turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies’ Attack increases by 10% / 12.5% / 15% / 17.5% / 20% , all allies’ Crit Damage increases by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24% , or all allies’ Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 6% / 7.5% / 9% / 10.5% / 12% . The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the same type cannot be stacked.
Another solid option if players have this at high SuperImposition as any of the buffs it provides are fantastic to most teams.
Dance! Dance! Dance!
When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies’ actions are Advanced Forward by 16% / 18% / 20% / 22% / 24%.
Dance Dance Dance is possibly the strongest Light Cone option for Tribbie for any players that want to improve clear time. Tribbie has extremely fast Ultimate rotation, especially when used with other AoE-centric characters in battle with multiple enemies on the field at the same time, making her one of the best Dance Dance Dance abusers.
Poised to Bloom
Increases the wearer’s ATK by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32%. Upon entering battle, if two or more characters follow the same Path, then these characters’ CRIT DMG increases by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% . Abilities of the same type cannot stack.
One of Tribbie’s main teams is with The Herta, so this Light Cone can help buff both The Herta and the Erudition unit that is brought along.
Memories of the Past
Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 28% / 35% / 42% / 49% / 56% . When the wearer attacks, additionally regenerates 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 Energy. This effect cannot be repeatedly triggered in a single turn.
Meshing Cogs
After the wearer uses attacks or gets hit, additionally regenerates 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 Energy. This effect cannot be repeatedly triggered in a single turn.
Both Meshing Cogs and Memories of the Past are more accessible options to help with Tribbie’s Energy Regeneration, as without Signature Light Cone and/or when fighting a battle with a low number of enemies, Tribbie might struggle to get a consistent 2-turn Ultimate rotation.
HSR Tribbie Main Stats
- Body: Crit Rate%
- Feet: HP% / Speed (for Speed build)
- Orb: HP% > Quantum Damage%
- Rope: Energy Regeneration% / HP%
HSR Tribbie Substats & Speed Tuning
- Speed (for Speed build)
- Crit Damage / Crit Rate
- HP
Goal: As slow as possible for the Slow build, 134+ Speed for Speedy build.
Tribbie’s damage mainly scales off HP, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage. There are two ways to build Tribbie: Slow Tribbie and Fast Tribbie.
Slow Tribbie
Slow Tribbie would be a more casual-friendly build as it is easier on her substats requirement. This build would make use of the Poet of Mourning Collapse set so that she would get a massive 32% Crit Rate buff, but it requires her to stay below 95 Speed in the stat screen.
For this build, to maximize her damage, the main stats of choice would be Crit Rate% on Body, HP% on Feet, HP% on Orb, and Energy Regeneration Rate on Rope to ensure she deals good damage and uses her Ultimate often. Quantum Damage% can be a decent substitute on Orb and HP% can be an acceptable option for her Rope in fights that she does need the extra Energy Regeneration. For this build, Speed is not useful at all and should be avoided on her equipment.
Fast Tribbie
For fast Tribbie, this is mainly a build to maximize her Ultimate frequency to abuse a Light Cone like Dance Dance Dance. This build would utilize the Eagle of Twilight Line set and enough Speed so that she can move as often as possible, which equals more energy.
Since Tribbie’s quite slow with 96 base Speed, 134 Speed requires a Speed boot and 13 Speed from substats, a realistic aim so she can move twice in the first 150 Action Value or the 0 cycle in Memory of Chaos. The main stats of choice would be Crit Rate% on Body, Speed on Feet, HP% on Orb, and Energy Regeneration Rate on Rope, and for her sub-stats Speed will be a useful stat.
HSR Tribbie Relics
Poet of Mourning Collapse
- 2-Pc: Increases Quantum DMG by 10%.
- 4-Pc: Decreases the wearer’s SPD by 8%. Before entering battle, if the wearer’s SPD is lower than 110/95, increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 20%/32%. This effect applies to the wearer’s memosprite at the same time.
This is Tribbie’s relic set of choice for the standard build, and it gives her a lot of Crit Rates to make her damage more notable.
Eagle of Twilight Line
- 2-Pc: Increases Wind Damage by 10%.
- 4-Pc: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
This set is mostly for speed clearer to increase her action frequency, essentially trading her damage for more Ultimate procs to support her teammates that like high-frequency AoE Attacks such as The Herta, Jade, or Robin.
HSR Tribbie Planar Sets
Sprightly Vonwacq
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle.
For Speed Tribbie built without her Signature Light Cone, this set lets her move early before the Damage Dealers so she can quickly set up her Ultimate, and also provide a solid Energy Regeneration boost. Slow Tribbie cannot trigger the Advanced Forward effect so this set would not be recommended.
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the Attack of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
Lushaka is another planar set that offers an Energy Regeneration Rate boost and also increases the main DPS’s Attack by a decent amount, which makes it a solid option in most circumstances.
Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 12%. When the wearer’s Max HP is 5000 or higher, increases the wearer’s and their memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 28%..
A really good planar set for Tribbie as she can easily fulfill the 5,000 Max HP condition with her trace, and further Max HP% increase as well as Crit Damage% are both valuable for her.
Broken Keel
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Effect RES by 10%. When the wearer’s Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies’ Crit Damage increases by 10%.
Broken Keel’s bonus condition is not that hard to reach, and it offers a small boost to Tribbie’s damage as well as all other damage dealers on the same team.
HSR Tribbie Teammates
Tribbie is very splashable and can be put into most teams and provide valuable buffs, but she shines best in AoE-centric teams with high attack frequency. Hence, we are only listing her best synergies.
DPS
The Herta
The Herta is most definitely Tribbie’s best teammate. Not only do they synergize very well with each other as both benefit massively from the frequent AoE attacks to charge their Ultimates, but The Herta also provides a massive 80% Crit Damage buff to the entire team which further improves Tribbie’s damage output.
Aglaea
Aglaea is a Blast unit with extremely high Attack frequency from her own and her memosprite, with her Joint Attack when in Supreme Stance count as 2 attacks, meaning she is an amazing energy charger for Tribbie. Furthermore, as Tribbie’s buffs are tied to Tribbie’s turn, Aglaea will always benefit from her buffs instead of worrying that they might fall off like when she is paired with some other Harmony units.
Yunli
Yunli is another unit with high-frequency pseudo-AoE Attacks (from her normal and enhanced counters) that can quickly charge Tribbie’s Ultimate while also benefiting from her buffs.
Jing Yuan
Jing Yuan’s Skills and Ultimates are both true AOE attacks, and his Lightning Lord is a Blast Attack, making Jing Yuan a solid AoE partner with Tribbie when paired with Sunday.
Argenti
Argenti is another Erudition with great AoE attack frequency, and thus is a natural for Tribbie.
Jade
Jade has fantastic AoE Attack frequency, and is probably the best Sub-DPS for AoE teams after Tribbie’s release until future Erudition characters are released.
Feixiao
Despite having purely Single Target Damage, Feixiao has notable synergy with Tribbie. This is due to Tribbie’s high frequency of follow-up attack while also being a buffer, making her a very good alternative to units like Topaz or Moze. Her team attacks very often and thus can somewhat make up for the slower charging rate for Tribbie’s Ultimate, and Feixiao team can also utilize AoE attackers like Lingsha or Jade to improve this.
Harmony/Nihility
Robin
Robin and Tribbie are a very fun pairing as they both buff each other’s damage, with Tribbie’s frequent attack also helping deliver Robin’s Ultimate damage and charge her energy. Together, Robin and Tribbie provide a lot of boost to any standard Hypercarry, making this a very notable combo.
Remembrance Trailblazer
Remembrance Trailblazer is a Harmony with very good AoE Attack frequency between their Ultimate and Mem’s attack, thus they can contribute quite well to charging Tribbie’s Ultimate gauge.
Sustain
Lingsha
Amongst sustain, Lingsha has a very high AoE Attack Frequency, allowing her to help charge Tribbie’s Ultimate efficiently.
HSR Tribbie Teams
Tribbie works best with either The Herta team and with AoE hypercarry units like Yunli or Jade alongside other amplifiers. Her buffs are very generic so it is quite easy to find a slot for Tribbie.
The Herta Sample Teams
Other Tribbie Sample Teams
HSR Tribbie Pull Value and Conclusion
Like most Limited Harmony units, Tribbie is a powerful unit as she can enable many DPS and is extremely splashable into teams thanks to her universal buffs and solid damage contribution. With the game moving into a more AoE-favored direction, Tribbie will get a lot of time to shine and bring fantastic value to the account. She is especially valuable for any accounts lacking in terms of units to tackle Pure Fiction or AoE-centric bosses in Apocalyptic Shadow and Memory of Chaos.
Players who are already invested in or planning to invest in the Herta team should also not skip Tribbie. Their synergy is exceptional, and she is by far the biggest improvement to The Herta as of her release.
However, while she is strong, Tribbie does not bring truly game-breaking capacity like Robin or Sunday, units that can play around certain game mechanics. Unless The Herta is concerned, Tribbie is not a best-in-slot amplifier for most of the current meta DPS, and can be skipped.
