Lingsha is the second Break-centric Healer in the game, sharing the exact element and niche as her predecessor – Gallagher.
While it is true that she represents an expensive upgrade from a 4 Star Character, Lingsha does have some unique applications compared to Gallagher with better sustaining capacity and more utility that naturally comes with a Limited 5 Stars Sustainer.
HSR Lingsha Release Date
Lingsha’s banner will be in the second half of Version 2.5 releasing on October 02, 2024, and will run until October 22, 2024.
HSR Lingsha Talents
Lingsha HSR Kit Overview (Trace Level 10)
Healing
Lingsha does not directly “heal” the party via her skills or Ultimate. Rather, she employs the use of a Summon just like Topaz’s Numby or Jing Yuan’s Lightning Lord. Upon using her skill, Lingsha will summon Fuyuan – her cute pet.
Fuyuan starts with a base speed of 90 and will have an action count of 3 before she disappears. Her max action count is 5 and can be replenished via the use of Lingsha’s skill. When Lingsha is knocked down, Fuyuan will also disappear as well.
Using skills while Fuyuan is on the field will also advance Fuyuan by 20% and deal AoE Fire Damage to all enemies. When it is Fuyuan’s turn, she will heal all allies, cleanse a debuff from them, and also attack an enemy, prioritizing the enemy that is Fire Weak and not broken yet. This is counted as a Follow-Up Attack.
Emergency Healing
Lingsha has two modes of emergency healing. The first is her Ultimate which is an AoE Attack that inflicts a unique “Befog” debuff that increases enemies’ Break Damage taken by 25% for 2 turns, and at the same time heals all allies and immediately advances Fuyuan by 100%.
Lingsha’s first traces increase Attack and Healing by a portion of her Break Effect, which incentivizes building Break Effect on her. Her second trace lets her recover as much energy when a basic attack as when she uses skills.
Her last trace is her second mode of emergency healing, which automatically triggers Fuyuan’s Follow-up Attack when an ally drops below 60% HP with a 2-turn cooldown but does not consume Fuyuan’s action count. Last but not least, Lingsha’s technique immediately summons Fuyuan at the start of the battle, saving her 1 Skill Point. It will also inflict Befog on all enemies for 2 turns.
Kit Thoughts
From the kit alone, it is quite evident that Lingsha is aimed to be used in Firefly’s Superbreak team. She has good AOE break capacity and shares the same element as Firefly so she benefits from Firefly’s Fire weakness implant. However, Lingsha is not a one-trick pony. Her frequent AoE Follow-Up Attack from her summon makes her a viable teammate for Feixiao for people without Aventurine. Furthermore, she is a great AoE driver / AoE breaker for AoE DPS like Jade, Himeko, and the upcoming Rappa, which makes her one of the best Pure Fiction healers / DPS hybrids.
Lingsha HSR Core Skills
Basic Attack – Votive Incense
Deals Fire Damage equal to 100% of Lingsha’s Attack to a single target enemy.
Skill – Smoke and Splendor
Deals Fire Damage equal to 80% of Lingsha’s Attack to all enemies and at the same time, restores HP equal to 14% of Lingsha’s Attack plus 420 for all allies. Fuyuan’s action advances by 20%.
Ultimate – Dripping Mistscape
Inflicts “Befog” on all enemies. While in “Befog,” targets receive 25% increased Break Damage, lasting for 2 turn(s).
Deals Fire Damage equal to 150% of Lingsha’s Attack to all enemies, and at the same time restores HP equal to 12% of Lingsha’s Attack plus 360 for all allies. Fuyuan’s action advances by 100%.
Talent – Mistdance Manifest
When using Skill, summons Fuyuan, with an initial SPD of 90 and an initial action count of 3.
When taking action, Fuyuan launches a follow-up attack, dealing Fire Damage equal to 75% of Lingsha’s Attack to all enemies. Additionally deals Fire Damage equal to 75% of Lingsha’s Attack to a single random enemy, and this Damage prioritizes targets that have both Toughness greater than 0 and Fire Weakness. Dispells 1 debuff(s) from all allies and restores HP equal to 12% of Lingsha’s Attack plus 360.
Fuyuan’s action count can accumulate up to 5. When the action count reaches 0 or when Lingsha is knocked down, Fuyuan disappears.
While Fuyuan is on the field, using Skill can increase Fuyuan’s action count by 3.
Technique – Wisps of Aurora
After using Technique, immediately summons Fuyuan at the start of the next battle and inflicts “Befog” on all enemies, lasting for 2 turns.
Lingsha HSR Traces
Vermilion Waft
Increases this unit’s Attack or Outgoing Healing by an amount equal to 25%/10% of Break Effect, up to a maximum increase of 50%/20% respectively.
Sylvan Smoke
When using Basic Attack, additionally regenerates 10 Energy.
Ember’s Echo
When Fuyuan is on the field and any ally character takes Damage or consumes HP, if a character in the team has their current HP percentage lower than or equal to 60%, Fuyuan will immediately launch the Talent’s follow-up attack. This does not consume Fuyuan’s action count. This effect can trigger again after 2 turn(s).

This prioritizes targets with both Toughness greater than 0 and Fire Weakness. |
Eidolon Priority
Lingsha’s best early Eidolon is E1 and is a better investment than her Signature Light Cone. It is a massive buff to her breaking capacity as well as teamwide damage as Def Shred is one of the stats that Superbreak scales quite well on.
After E1 however, it is better to grab Light Cone than invest further into her Eidolons as they are very lackluster except E6 which is quite expensive.
- Eidolon 1: Priority Very High
- Eidolon 2: Priority Very Low
- Eidolon 4: Priority Very Low
- Eidolon 6: Priority Very High

Premium Options
Scent Alone Stays True
Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% . After the wearer uses Ultimate to attack enemy targets, inflicts the targets with the “Woefree” state, lasting for 2 turn(s). While in “Woefree,” enemy targets take 10%/12%/14%/16%/18% increased Damage. The effect of increasing Damage taken is additionally boosted by 8%/10%/12%/14%/16% if the wearer’s current Break Effect is 150% or higher.
Lingsha’s signature Lightcone offers a significant amount of Break Effect for Lingsha to meet all the Break Effects requirements from her equipment and also gives her the ability to inflict generic damage taken debuff with her Ultimate on all enemies, further improving her utility.
Echoes of the Coffin
Increases the wearer’s Attack by 24%/28%/32%/36%/40% . After the wearer uses an attack, for each different enemy target the wearer hits, regenerates 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 Energy. Each attack can regenerate Energy up to 3 time(s) this way. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies gain 12/14/16/18/20 SPD for 1 turn.
Echoes of the Coffin is an interesting option. It is not recommended to pull this Light Cone for Lingsha, but rather it is a viable option for players who pulled this beforehand for Luocha and want to make Lingsha work as a DPS. It gives everything that Lingsha wants to be a DPS – from Attack%, strong energy regeneration, and Speed.
F2P Options
Quid Pro Quo
At the start of the wearer’s turn, regenerates 8/10/12/14/16 Energy for a randomly chosen ally (excluding the wearer) whose current Energy is lower than 50%.
Quid Pro Quo has been one of the strongest utility Light Cone for Abundance characters since the start of the game and for Lingsha it is no different.
What Is Real?
Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 24%/30%/36%/42%/48% . After using Basic Attack, restores HP for the wearer by an amount equal to 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4% of Max HP plus 800.
What Is Real? is an acceptable pure Break Effect stat stick but offers no further utility for Lingsha.
Multiplication
After the wearer uses their Basic Attack, their next action will be Advanced Forward by 12%/14%/16%/18%/20%
Multiplication lets Lingsha essentially squeeze in more actions throughout the battle for a better SP economy as well as resetting her emergency heal faster.
HSR Lingsha Main Stats
- Body: Healing%/Attack %
- Feet: Speed
- Orb: Attack%/HP%
- Rope: Energy Regeneration Rope%/Break Effect%
Speed is of utmost importance to Lingsha. Her main rotation as a sustain is Skill – Basic – Basic which lets her move twice before Fuyuan. This eases her SP requirement a lot and also guarantees an Ultimate after every 3 actions. To achieve this, a 151-speed minimum is recommended. A Speed boot therefore is essential.
Break Effect% is also required for several breakpoints. Her signature Lightcone requires a 150% Break Effect for its secondary effect. A 200% Break Effect is needed for Lingsha to cap the bonus from her first trace, and for players playing Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge set, she will need a 250% Break Effect in combat to trigger the Defense Ignore set bonus effect. This stat will be the focal point of her Substats on her equipment.
For Body, Healing% is best for healing performance, while Attack% is a decent option for her more offensive build.
For Orb, Attack% or HP% are both acceptable options with different purposes: either improve her damage or survivability.
Energy Regeneration Rate% is her best stat for Rope for fast Ultimate uptime, but Break Effect% can be beneficial depending on the situation.
HSR Lingsha Sub Stats
- Speed
- Break Effect
- HP%/Attack%/Effect Res%
Speed and Break Effect gives the best improvement to Lingsha’s general performance. Beyond that, HP% or Effect Res% for more survivability and Attack% for better damage are recommended.
HSR Lingsha Relics
Passerby of Wandering Cloud
2-Pc: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%.
4-Pc: At the start of the battle, immediately regenerates 1 Skill Point.
One of Lingsha’s main problems is that while she is SP positive, she still consumes SP compared to some other sustain. The Passerby set both lessens this problem but also gives her a nice healing bonus.
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
2-Pc: Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4-Pc: If the wearer’s Break Effect is 150% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10% of their DEF. If the wearer’s Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15% of their DEF.
For Superbreak Lingsha, the Iron Cavalry set offers Lingsha practically everything she wants and makes her deal respectable damage.
Thief of Shooting Meteor
2-Pc: Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 16%. After the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, regenerates 3 Energy.
This set shines most in Pure Fiction as Lingsha can break very fast and often with her AoE hits in any Pure Fiction that has many enemies with Fire-weakness, which further fuels more AoE via the Energy Regen effect.
HSR Lingsha Planar Sets
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s SPD by 6%. When the wearer hits an enemy target that has Fire Weakness, the wearer’s Break Effect increases by 40%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
The Kalpagni set gives her much-needed Speed to hit her threshold. As she is quite often used against Fire-weak enemies or with Firefly, the secondary effect will also be up often.
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the Attack of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
The Lushaka offers a tempting 5% Energy Regeneration Rate and a strong Attack buff for her carries like Feixiao or Firefly.
Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 16%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 145 or higher, the wearer’s Break Effect increases by an extra 20%.
The Talia gives the most Break Effect out of all planar options so it is viable if Lingsha needs extra Break Effect to reach any threshold.
HSR Lingsha Teammates
Main DPS
Firefly
Lingsha is one of the best sustain options for Firefly alongside Gallagher. At E0 however, Firefly is very SP hungry and Lingsha is not as good of an SP printer as Gallagher, meaning the player has to manage SP carefully when using this team. With E1 Firefly, Lingsha’s SP problem does not persist anymore. Firefly’s HP consumption mechanics also let Lingsha trigger her emergency Fuyuan summon very easily for more hits.
Feixiao
Lingsha is playable as an ally for Feixiao team due to her summon attacks being counted as follow-up attacks and having high attack frequency for Feixiao’s Flying Aureus stack generation, albeit definitely worse than Aventurine. She also shares elements with Topaz making them a great duo for Fire-weak content in that team.
Harmony/Nihility
Harmony Trailblazer
HMC is the premier SuperBreak support at the moment, so they are required for Lingsha’s SuperBreak team to function.
Ruan Mei
Ruan Mei is indispensable to the Break Team thanks to her massive Break Efficiency buff. Ruan Mei also provided powerful Break Extension and teamwide Speed Buff which are massive for any Lingsha team in general.
Robin
Lingsha has good attack frequency so she is naturally a decent deliverer of Robin’s damage, especially in Follow-up teams.
Sub DPS
Jade
Jade and Lingsha is a very effective Pure Fiction duo. Lingsha’s fantastic AoE attack frequency lets her procure Jade’s follow-up very often, while also capable of utilizing all the effects of the Debt Collector buff from Jade.
Himeko
In Fire-weak content, Lingsha can serve as a fantastic AoE Breaker to trigger Himeko’s follow-up attack.
HSR Lingsha Teams
Lingsha Superbreak Team
The standard SuperBreak team with Lingsha over Gallagher. SP Consumption is tighter but there is no debate that this team will perform better in AoE situations and also has better sustain capacity like cleansing and healing against harder fights.
Lingsha Standard Follow Up Team
Standard Feixiao’s team with Lingsha serving as the replacement for Aventurine.
Lingsha AoE DPS Team
Lingsha is a great AoE breaker so she goes very well with other AoE DPS that want high-frequency AoE attacks like Rappa, Jade, and Himeko.
HSR Lingsha Pull Value and Conclusion
Lingsha is a definite upgrade over Gallagher in multiple areas, but it is an expensive upgrade. She has strong healing sustain befitting the status of a Limited Abundance Character, good versatility letting her fit various compositions, and can even function as an AoE DPS.
Unfortunately, sustain has very poor pulling value beyond the first two. Most accounts do not need more than two functional sustains for endgame, hence it is hard to recommend Lingsha if any accounts already have high eidolon Gallagher and another strong sustain unit like Aventurine or Huohuo. But if the account is lacking a strong sustain to progress and help clearing endgame content, then Lingsha is a fantastic choice to consider.
For the Firefly team which should be Lingsha’s main usage, she is a worse vertical investment compared to E1 Ruan Mei and E2 Firefly, but if a player already got both and wants to further improve their Firefly team, then an E1 Lingsha is an extremely tempting prospect.
