The first season of Diablo 4 brings many new mechanics and powers to explore. It’s a fresh slate, but with it comes a number of challenges for players to take on as they restart their grind to level 100. The Season Journey may feel daunting to some, but for the most part, we can treat it as a progression guide.
It’s filled with tasks of various sizes. Some are extremely easy while others may require a bit of heavy lifting. How you decide to proceed is ultimately up to you!
If you’re looking to reach the end and receive the exclusive season rewards, allow me to breakdown and simplify the requirements. I’ll also give you some recommendations on which tasks to focus on in order to save time. Let’s get started!
What are the requirements in order to complete the Season Journey?
If you struggled to reach level 100 on the Eternal Realm, then I’ve got some bad news for you…while the majority of rewards are relatively easy to achieve, the season-exclusive ones will require you to truly reach the endgame. That means level 100 at a minimum.
Technically, it could be possible to complete the Season Journey without reaching level 100, but given the challenges you’ll be tasked with, level 100 is likely one of the easier options. All that said, waiting for you at the end of the Season Journey is an exclusive title and a Scroll of Amnesia. The former is just one of many titles while the latter is just an item of convenience.
The Scroll of Amnesia allows for a one-time free reset to all skills and paragon points. It’s definitely a handy item to take back into the Eternal Realm, but if you’re planning to just play Seasonal, then it won’t matter.
Earning Favor
One of the biggest reasons to advance the Season Journey is to earn Favor. Favor is the “exp” that fills up the bar on the battle pass. While Favor can be earned passively by slaying monsters and just playing the game, the Season Journey awards Favor for each objective you complete; making it a very efficient source of progression.
The battle pass holds numerous cosmetics which you’ll unlock as you reach different tiers on the track. Unlike the Season Journey, there’s no hard requirement in order to reach the end of the battle pass. So even if you can’t reach the end of the Season Journey, it could still be possible for you to earn enough Favor. Just keep demolishing demons until your heart’s content!
Either way, regardless of whether or not you care about the cosmetics or prestigious titles, so long as you’re playing the game you’ll be making progress. At the end of the day, most of these objectives will be completed naturally. However, if you want to kickstart your progress and accelerate through the battle pass, look no further!
Recommended Path
These are my recommended objectives to complete on your way from Chapter I to IV. The ones in bold text are my tasks of choice for completing the Season Journey as soon as possible. Beyond Chapter IV, there’s the Slayer, Champion, and Destroyer tiers. These objectives are far more difficult and I believe the optimal path will vary between players. I’ll leave them up to you.
Of course, feel free to choose which tasks suit you best. This is just my personal recommendation, but play the game in whichever way you enjoy most!
