What is the Diablo 4 Gauntlet?
The Gauntlet is a timed, fixed seed, non-linear dungeon; this means that monsters and their positions, layouts, and affixes will always be the same. This allows for fair competition as The Gauntlet will be the same for every player and will only rotate at the end of the week.
To compete, you must have reached World Tier 4. You don’t have to be level 100 to compete, but it is advised to be level 100, as the monsters inside The Gauntlet will also be max level and are designed to test your fully leveled characters.
If you’ve played Diablo 3, you’ll know how The Gauntlets will function. Instead of dropping from Monsters and Chests, loot will drop at the end of the timer, so you will not have to worry about picking anything up. Instead, Monsters and Chests will drop pick-ups called Proofs of Might, and you’ll have a limited amount of time to collect as many of them as possible to maximize your score.
Depending on your score, you’ll be awarded a seal; reaching the “Seal of the Worthy will put you in the top 1000 players.

Quick tip: if you’re planning to participate in the Gauntlet, we highly recommend you to select one of the best Diablo 4 builds, as it will make your clears much easier!
How to Participate
To participate in the Gauntlet, your character must have reached at least World Tier 4; then, you just have to navigate to your “Collections” Tab, and there will be a new third menu called Trials.
You can participate in the Gauntlet Ladder. Depending on your character’s class, you’ll participate in that class’s ladder. All you have to do is press “Start” to begin the process. Remember that if your character does not meet the entry requirements, the “Start” button will be greyed out.
Rewards
You’ll be rewarded with a Cache of Trial if you participate during the week. This cache will reward the player with Ancestral Legendaries or Unique items; these rewards scale depending on your Gauntlet score, receiving higher rewards the higher your Gauntlet score.
Leaderboards
The Leaderboard will only showcase the top 1000 players earning the “Seal of the Worthy”. This will reset every week when the dungeon resets. There will be a Leaderboard for every class and a Leaderboard for solo, 2-player, 3-player, and 4-player parties. There will also be filters for platform, region, clan friends, and Hardcore and Non-Hardcore players.
At the end of the week, a permanent leaderboard known as the Hall of the Ancients will forever show the top 10 players for each week in every season
In Conclusion
This is an excellent addition for all kinds of players. Because competing and placing still earns you rewards, so you can take advantage of the Gauntlet without being the best of the best. You’ll be rewarded with Legendaries and Uniques regardless. Good luck on the Ladder.
