Destiny 2 – Episode I Act II Seasonal Weapons
Act II of Episode I has arrived, and one of the most anticipated weapons with it! We’re going to tell you everything we know about the two brand-new Destiny 2 weapons and one returning fan-favorite weapon!
Guardians everywhere are buzzing with excitement, eager to get their hands on these powerful new tools of destruction.
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a new Lightbearer, our guide will help you make the most of these exciting additions to your arsenal. Let’s dive right in!
Aberrant Action
Aberrant Action is arguably one of the most anticipated weapons in Destiny 2’s history. We all love Rocket-Assisted Sidearms, and now we have a Solar variant! This incredible weapon can be acquired throughout the new seasonal content. You can also purchase Abberant Action from Failsafe at the H.E.L.M. once you have gotten one already and get your hands on the Act II Engram Focusing Upgrade.
To get that upgrade just progress through the seasonal content and do all of Failsafe’s quests! Thai incredible Sidearm has access to a slew of great perks. In slot one, you can access Heal Clip, Ambitious Assassin, Beacon Rounds, and more!
In the second perk slot, you have options like Incandescent, Reverberation, and Demolitionist, among others. Obviously, you can never go wrong with Heal Clip & Incandescent. I’m very interested in getting the pattern for Aberrant Action and playing around with perk combinations.
Corrasion
Next up we have Corrasion. Corrasion is one of the brand-new Heavy Burst Pulse Rifles added with The Final Shape. Heavy Burst Pulse Rifles fire high-damage, two-round bursts and reduce your incoming flinch slightly.
You can get your Corrasion from Failsafe or from seasonal activities – the same as Aberrant Action. This Arc Pulse Rifle can roll or be crafted with some interesting perks.
In the first perk slot, you can get Pugilist, High-Impact Reserves, Enlightened Action, Eddy Current, and a few more. In the second slot, you guessed it, Voltshot is available! Also, in the second slot, you may find Swashbuckler, Focused Fury, and Frenzy, among other perks.
I’m looking forward to crafting this with Pugilist and Swashbuckler to utilize in melee builds, but of course, I’ll have one with Voltshot.
Perfect Paradox
Another Season of Dawn weapon has returned, and that is Perfect Paradox! Unfortunately, Perfect Paradox has been timegated, but it certainly will come from the seasonal story. Upon receiving it, it will more than likely be purchaseable from Failsafe at the H.E.L.M. like the other returning Season 9 weapons.
While we don’t know when you can get your hands on it, we do know the possible perks.
In the first slot, you can get Threat Detector and Slideshot if you play PvP and Pugilist if you’re more into PvE. In the final perk slot, if you’re a PvP-lover, Opening Shot is available! For my PvE people, you can ideally roll this weapon with One-Two Punch, Vorpal Weapon, or Trench Barrel! While most people agree Rapid-Fire Shotguns aren’t their favorite, this weapon still will likely be seen quite a bit in the Crucible in the coming weeks.
