Salvation’s Edge Weapon and Godrolls Guide

Now that The Final Shape has been released, Destiny 2 players have begun to unearth the treasure trove of Salvation’s Edge Weapons.

This raid has come with a new set of exciting and powerful gear that is sure to raise your Guardian’s power levels a bit.

In this guide, we detail all god rolls and point out the fights in which you’re going to need to find them inside. Whether you’re a seasoned raider or new to the battle, load up on what your Guardian needs to take their power and prestige to new heights.

Destiny 2 Weapon Armory

Chaos Reshaped

I wanted to start by explaining the new perk added with the introduction of Salvation’s Edge’s weapons: Chaos Reshaped. Chaos Reshaped is, in essence, a juiced-up, evolved version of Frenzy, After being in combat for twelve seconds, you are granted one stack of Chaos Reshaped.

At one stack, your weapon will receive a whopping 20% damage buff. You can further extend the duration by dealing damage with the weapon. If you maintain the first stack for twelve seconds, you’ll then have Chaos Reshaped x2. Chaos Reshaped x2 will bump that damage buff up to a massive 35%, along with periodically healing you!

Collective Purpose

The last thing we need to go over before we get into the weapons is the Salvation’s Edge Origin Trait, Collective Purpose. Collective Purpose will first grant you bonus range and handling when you’re near allies. Bows will receive faster draw time, and swords will be given an increased charge rate. These effects also scale with the number of allies you’re near!

Imminence

900RPM Strand Machine Gun

First up we have Imminence, a brand new 900RPM Strand submachine gun. This weapon will drop from the first, second, and fourth encounters in Salvation’s Edge. In the first perk slot, you have amazing options such as Enlightened Action, Demolitionist, and Slice.

In the second slot, it can roll with some great options like Hatchling, Firefly, and the brand-new perk, Chaos Reshaped. Shoot for rolls like Enlightened Action & Chaos Reshaped, Demolitionist & Hatchling, or Slice & Chaos Reshaped!

If you get your hands on a good roll, or already have it crafted, go ahead and try this build out!

Non-Denouement

Non-Denouement

Next up is Non-Denouement – A new Arc combat bow with some great perk combinations! Like Imminence, Non-Denouement will also drop from the first, second, and fourth encounters in Salvation’s Edge. Bow lovers rejoice because this is the first bow in Destiny to roll with Voltshot!

In slot one, it can roll with the classic Archer’s Tempo, Strategist, and also Dragonfly. In slot two you have options like Voltshot, Explosive Head, and surprisingly, Archer’s Gambit. The obvious roll you should go for here is Dragonfly & Voltshot, but Archer’s Tempo would also pair nicely with Voltshot!

Nullify

395RPM Solar Pulse Rifle

Nullify is a 395RPM Solar Pulse Rifle that has one of the best perk pools of all the Salvation’s Edge weapons. This weapon can drop from the first, third, and final encounters in the raid. The first slot perk pool consists of incredible perks such as Firefly, Heal Clip, Rapid Hit, Fourth Time’s The Charm, and Demolitionist.

The second slot is just as nice, with possibilities like Incandescent, Chaos Reshaped, and Desperate Measures. Ideally, you wind up with Heal Clip or Firefly & Incandescent. Heal Clip & Chaos Reshaped is another awesome roll you should look for!

Summum Bonum

Summum Bonum

Along with a gorgeous new Arc sword, we also get a new sword frame in Summum Bonum. Wave-Frame sword heavy attacks deploy a shockwave uppercut and launch the user into the air. An immediate follow-up swing after the uppercut deploys a homing strike that aggressively seeks a target.

This sword can drop from the second, fourth, and final encounters in Salvation’s Edge. Slot one can bless you with Relentless Strikes, Tireless Blade, and Attrition Orbs, among others. Slot two is where it gets really good, as you can roll Bait And Switch, Chaos Reshaped, Whirlwind Blade, and others!

Craft it (or get lucky) with Relentless Strikes & Chaos Reshaped! Some other good combinations would be, of course, Relentless Strikes & Bait And Switch, or if you want some serious add-clear, Tireless Blade & Chain Reaction!

Forthcoming Deviance

Forthcoming Deviance

Forthcoming Deviance is the second Rapid-Fire glaive added to Destiny 2. Unlike Greasy Luck, this glaive is a Void glaive, and gets some much better perks! This new glaive can drop from the second and third encounters in Salvation’s Edge.

Of course, you can still swing away with Forthcoming Deviance, but with it being a Rapid-Fire glaive, it has perks based more around firing it. Starting in column one, the stars are Reconstruction, Demolitionist, Replenishing Aegis, and Grave Robber. The highlights of perk column two are Chaos Reshaped, Chain Reaction, and Destabilizing Rounds. The combination you’ll want to craft or look for is Reconstruction with either Chain Reaction or Chaos Reshaped.

Critical Anomaly

Stasis Agressive Frame

Critical Anomaly is a Stasis Agressive Frame sniper new with the raid. You can get your hands on this new weapon from the third and final encounters in Salvation’s Edge. Don’t overlook this weapon, as snipers get an anti-barrier artifact mod in Act II of this Episode!

This weapon can be crafted or acquired with Chill Clip, Rewind Rounds, and Reconstruction, among others, in its first perk slot. In the second, Bait And Switch, Chaos Reshaped, and Firing Line stand out. Some great combos you could craft or roll would be Reconstruction & Bait And Switch, Rewind Rounds & Chaos Reshaped, or a combination of the four!

Euphony

Salvation’s Edge raid Exotic

Lastly, we have the Salvation’s Edge raid Exotic, Euphony. Euphony is a very rare drop from finishing the final encounter of the raid. This weapon is certainly a game-changer as it’s not only a Strand special ammo linear fusion rifle, but it goes in your Kinetic weapon slot!

If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on Euphony, you have endless building potential with it! First, dealing sustained damage with Euphony spawns threadlings at your target’s location. To top it off, when your Threadlings deal damage, Euphony does increased damage itself.

For all the lucky Guardians that saw that exotic engram drop at the end of Salvation’s Edge, do yourselves a favor, and load up DIM and try this build out!

In Conclusion

In conclusion, all the great weapons from Salvation’s Edge are not just about raw power; they offer a depth of customization and strategic potential that can redefine your Guardian’s arsenal.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the raids, these weapons will provide the necessary edge to tackle Destiny 2’s toughest challenges. So gear up, strategize with your fire team, and embark on the journey to master Salvation’s Edge – the rewards are well worth the effort.
