BRAVE Arsenal PvE God Rolls

In this guide, we’re going over each of the BRAVE Arsenal weapon god rolls, the best rolls to chase, and a rating for each weapon to help decide which weapons are worth target farming with an attunement for a 50% drop chance.

With the release of Into the Light, these 12 reprised weapons were released with a brand new set of perks. These weapons have fantastic perks and are some of the strongest in the game in the current state.

We’ll be starting with the highest rated and working our way down the list.

Now live in Destiny 2, The Final Shape expansion brings a new Prismatic Subclass. Discover our meta Prismatic Hunter builds, Prismatic Warlock builds, and Prismatic Titan builds.

1. Forbearance

  • Rating
    • 10/10
    • This is one of, if not the best weapon in the game. This version of the raid weapon gives the same top roll and has a slightly more useful origin perk. If you do not have the raid version you should be farming for this weapon.
  • Recommended Perks
    • The bread and butter combination that makes this weapon so good is Ambitious Assassin and Chain Reaction. The former gives extra shots in the mag while the latter leads to more kills. Demolitionist is a potential alternative to Ambitious Assassin if you want to fully lean into grenade builds, especially with the origin perk Indomitability giving grenade energy when using a Light subclass.

2. The Mountaintop

  • Rating
    • 9/10
    • With Wave Frame Grenade Launchers in the game, The Mountaintop isn’t an absolute must-have. But it’s still a great weapon to have in your arsenal. It has a bit of a different role in it is a great option for yellow bar enemies and as a supplemental damage dealer in Bait and Switch setups with fine wave clear.
  • Recommended Perks
    • The most consistent combination of perks is Auto-Loading Holster and Recombination. These two traits play into one another by shooting a shot with The Mountaintop, swapping to another weapon, building stacks of Recombination, and then swapping to Mountaintop for a very high-damage shot. This also lets you use The Mountaintop during a damage phase with Auto-Loading for Bait and Switch heavy weapons. If you want to min-max single-target damage, go for Implosion Rounds and Hard Launch. Otherwise, Spike Grenades is a little better for all-around use because it doesn’t sacrifice blast radius for dealing with ads with a very minimal deficit to damage relative to Implosion Rounds. If you want to lean into spamming The Mountaintop, go for Frenzy and Impulse Amplifier for a very fast reload speed. Frenzy brings the stat up to 100 and Impulse Amplifier brings an a multiplier to decrease reload time with an already maxed out reload speed stat.

3. The Recluse

  • Rating
    • 8/10
    • SMGs are still a top weapon and this one has a lot of very good perks that can fit a lot of playstyles. It is worth getting if you don’t have a Funnelweb or other strong Void SMG
  • Recommended Perks
    • There are a few good reload perks in the first column where Subsistence can be used if there are a lot of enemies who die quickly. Feeding Frenzy is another good reload option in activities with frequent kills. Enlightened Action gives reload speed on hits and is a solid option if playing activities like GMs with higher health enemies. Lastly, this column has Repulsor Brace which is always a solid option for Void builds or when paired with Destabilizing Rounds. The other perks in the second column that are good options are Desperate Measures and Frenzy. Unfortunately, Master of Arms isn’t as strong as it once was and is outclassed by many perks in its new state.

4. Luna’s Howl

  • Rating
    • 8/10
    • Hand cannons are very hot right now and are a great weapon all around. The redesigned trademark perk, Magnificent Howl, got a rework that makes it a very good PvE perk. This weapon is great for general add clear and for damage with Lucky Pants builds.
  • Recommended Perks
    • Magnificent Howl is a must-use. The perk gives a whopping 50% bonus damage and can recycle itself. This perk can be used to recycle itself during add clear or stored for 10 bonus damage shots during a damage phase. Subsistence is a great option for a second perk as it allows you to recycle shots on kills. Magnificent Howl refunds the perk on kills, and Subsistence auto-reloads a shot on a kill, thus creating an infinite loop of Magnificent Howl after getting in an initial reload.

5. Edge Transit

  • Rating
    • 8/10
    • Grenade Launchers are in a much better spot and this is the best Grenade Launcher in the game for damage.
  • Recommended Perks
    • The best damage perk to use is Bait and Switch. An alternative option is Explosive Light which is much simpler to use. Ideally this weapon will have a roll with 2 perk options in the first perk column with Cascade Point and Envious Assassin. This way you can build up ammo with Envious Assassin and then swap to Cascade Point for a damage phase. Getting just one of these perks works well, but isn’t the 10/10 god roll. Just as Explosive Light is an easier-to-use perk, Auto-Loading Holster serves that purpose in the first perk column.

6. Hammerhead

  • Rating
    • 7/10
    • If you do not have a good Commemoration, this weapon is very worth chasing. Machine Guns are a top option in non-boss encounters due to how strong they are with add clear and dealing with mid-tier enemies. This weapon has access to the top Machine Gun perks.
  • Recommended Perks
    • Fourth Time’s the Charm and Rewind Rounds are very similar. Both extend the mag letting you fire for long durations, but Rewind Rounds has a slight edge in not needing headshots to activate. In this same column, Rampage is a very intriguing option to use. This can be stacked with the other column to have two damage perks. Killing Tally is the best of those second-column damage perks as it is a very easy way to upkeep a 30% damage buff, and is the best option for damage.

7. Midnight Coup

  • Rating
    • 7/10
    • This is now one of the best Hand Cannons in the game. A great thing this weapon offers is being able to pair Explosive Payload with other damage perks. Explosive Payload increases damage on its own, and stacks with other damage perks.
  • Recommended Perks
    • There is no surprise that Explosive Payload is here. Frenzy is a fantastic pairing due to the reload speed it gives. This allows you to use Extended Mag as the -20 Reload Speed penalty doesn’t matter because Frenzy brings the Reload Speed stat up to 100 no matter what. Kinetic Tremors is a good alternative to Frenzy, but if you go for this, use another magazine that doesn’t hurt your Reload Speed.

Midnight Coup

8. Hung Jury SR4

  • Rating
    • 6/10
    • Hung Jury is nothing new, and this feels like the 10th time it has been released. But this weapon has some solid perks and is always a good reliable option for activities where you want to play from a safe distance.
  • Recommended Perks
    • Hung Jury has become the Kinetic Tremors weapon. A weapon that is good in content where you have to play safe, and Kinetic Tremors is a perk that is good against bulkier targets typically seen in these activities. There are two potential pairings, One for All and Explosive Payload. The first of the two, One for All is an interesting option as Kinetic Tremors activates it when hitting multiple targets. Explosive Payload is the simpler option which gives a flat damage bonus all the time, but it is smaller of the two.

9. Falling Guillotine

  • Rating
    • 6/10
    • This is a top sword, but swords are a rather niche weapon. It is good to have a go-to sword as some encounters are very favorable to swords such as Crota. If the newest raid in the Final Shape has a boss encounter swords are strong in, this will be a fantastic weapon to have in your arsenal.
  • Recommended Perks
    • Surrounded has become a top sword perk due to its ease of use in not having to perform any particular setup. Frenzy is the clear choice in the other column as it is an extra 15% damage boost. If going for all-out damage, go for Jagged Edge as the blade perk.

10. Blast Furnace

  • Rating
    • 4/10
    • Pulse Rifles aren’t in the best spot in PvE. They will continue to receive buffs, but as of now there are better options. This weapon offers good PvE perks and is potentially worth farming for one in case Pulse Rifles become a top option in The Final Shape.
  • Recommended Perks
    •  The first main perk is a pretty easy option with Kinetic Tremors. This perk is really strong, especially with a weapon that shoots a 4-round burst. It can be paired with a perk that offers damage. Frenzy is arguably the best option due to the damage buff it gives alongside 100 Reload Speed. One for All is a solid alternative due to it being activated from Kinetic Tremors with its AoE. One for All has a higher damage multiplier, but the max Reload Speed stat from Frenzy is too hard to pass up.

Blast Furnace

11. Succession

  • Rating
    • 4/10
    • Snipers are still not in the best spot despite their continual buffs. They are weak in add clear and are not good enough at damage to justify the difficulty the precision weapon has. Succession is one of the best snipers in the game, but the bar isn’t very high with the state of legendary snipers.
  • Recommended Perks
    • The best roll is to turn Succession into a legendary, Walmart version of Izanagi’s Burden. The first main perk to take is Reconstruction. Mostly because there is no clear alternative, and never needing to worry about reloading is nice to have. The second perk for damage is Recombination. This perk allows you to build up a strong shot to utilize when using a Bait and Switch set up.

12. Elsie’s Rifle

  • Rating
    • 2/10
    • This is a PvP weapon. It has some good PvE perks, but the archetype is far from ideal.
  • Recommended Perks
    • For thematic and efficacy purposes Rewind Rounds is the clear option. The other column has quite a few good options. Desperate Measures gives the best damage bonus, Desperado gives a very fast fire rate for the entirety of the extended magazine, and Frenzy gives an easy-to-get damage bonus and maxed-out reload speed.

In Conclusion

Many of these BRAVE Arsenal weapon god rolls are the best in their weapon class. Fortunately, they will be available even after the release of the Final Shape. The only time you can get the double perk versions is while Into the Light is active.
