Silver Wolf Lv. 999: Guide, Skills, Builds, Teams & More
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 is an Imaginary Damage Dealer of the Elation path released in Patch 4.2. As the main anniversary unit, Silver Wolf Lv. 999 is the flagship and the centerpiece of the Elation team for this major patch, or at least, one of the major pushed Damage Dealers.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Release Date
Silver Wolf Lv. 999’s banner will be in the first half of Version 4.2, releasing on April 22nd, 2026, and will run until May 13th, 2026.
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 HSR Kit Overview (Trace Level 10)
“Hidden MMR” and Ultimate
Silver Wolf’s unique Energy is called Hidden MMR, which is the focal point of her skill set. Whenever the team gains Punchline, Silver Wolf gains the same amount of Hidden MMR. She can also gain Hidden MMR through her unenhanced Elation Skill, which grants 15 Hidden MMR upon triggering, and through her second major trace, which grants 20 or 40 Hidden MMR if she uses her Elation Skill that accounts for 20 or 40 Punchline when it triggers.
Her Skill — a basic AoE attack — can also generate 5 Punchlines, which translates to 5 Hidden MMR. Hidden MMR is capped at 300, and upon reaching 60 Hidden MMR, Silver Wolf can consume all 60 to use her Ultimate and enter the “Godmode Player” state.
Each point of Hidden MMR also increases her Crit Rate by 0.4%; if she reaches the Crit Rate cap, additional Hidden MMR will increase her Crit Damage by 0.8% per point instead. Once Silver Wolf leaves this state, all of the Hidden MMR points will be cleared.
Immediately upon entering this state, Silver Wolf advances herself by 100%, and her third major trace simultaneously grants 20 Hidden MMR. This state lasts for 3 of Silver Wolf’s turns, after which she returns to her normal form. While Silver Wolf has “Certified Banger,” her Basic Attack and Skill deal an additional instance of Elation Damage equal to 40%. During her Ultimate’s duration, Silver Wolf cannot use her normal Skill or Ultimate, but has three ways of attacking:
“Top Loot Box”: While Silver Wolf has Certified Banger, each time an ally consumes 1 Skill Point, there is a chance she will launch one of the following “Top Loot Box” attacks, which deal evenly distributed Elation Damage to all enemies. The first attack has a 100% trigger chance, and each subsequent trigger has only 20% of the previous attack’s chance (100% → 20% → 4% → 0.8%). Each “Top Loot Box” attack has unique additional effects beyond its damage:
- Big Flipping Sword: Deals True Damage equal to 20% of this attack’s total damage to the enemy with the highest HP.
- Kaboom Eggplosion: Restores 2 Skill Points. More likely to trigger when the team’s Skill Points are low, and less likely when they are high.
- Funky Munch Bean: Gains 3 Punchlines. More likely to trigger when the team’s Punchlines are low, and less likely when they are high.
Enhanced Basic Attack: Deals 240% Elation Damage based on her Attack, split across 100 bounce attacks that hit random targets. During these 100 hits, Silver Wolf also launches 3 Top Loot Box attacks.
After all the above damage, she deals a final hit equal to 100% of her Attack, split evenly among all targets. If all enemies are defeated at any point during her Basic Attack, she stops attacking and instead carries over the remaining hits once new enemies appear, ensuring no hits are wasted.
Enhanced Elation Skill: During her Ultimate’s duration, Silver Wolf replaces her normal Skill with this version, dealing 6 instances of Elation Damage — each equal to 90% of her Attack — to random enemies. This attack also resets the trigger count of her “Top Loot Box.”
Speed Scaling, Global Passive & Technique
Silver Wolf’s first major trace has a significant impact on her build. It increases her Elation by 50% if her Speed is 160 or higher. For every additional Speed point beyond 160, she gains a further 2% Elation, capped at 100 excess Speed (i.e., 260 Speed total) for a maximum of 200% extra Elation.
Similar to Castorice, obtaining Silver Wolf at Lv. 999 grants the account a global passive — McAwolfee 999. During battle, if an ally is inflicted with a Crowd Control debuff, Silver Wolf intervenes and grants all allies a Firewall state for 1 turn, which negates the Crowd Control debuff. This effect can trigger once per wave.
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 also has a highly useful Technique. Upon activation, she summons a giant Pac-Man in the overworld that automatically hunts nearby enemies and consumes them, with each consumption costing 1 Technique Point without initiating combat — similar to Phainon or Acheron’s Technique. If she enters battle while this summon is active, she triggers 1 “Funky Munch Bean” attack at the start of the fight.
Overall Gameplay Evaluation
While her kit may look exceptionally complex and convoluted, Silver Wolf’s actual gameplay is quite simple — if not mostly automatic. Her gameplay loop is similar to Rappa’s, in that players should aim to get her into her Ultimate form as quickly and as often as possible. During this transformation, she has only one action available on her turn: her Enhanced Basic Attack. Because Silver Wolf generates Punchline and Hidden MMR relatively slowly on her own, she is heavily dependent on fast Punchline generators and high Speed to maximize her number of actions. A lack of teammates who can supply consistent Punchline and Hidden MMR will drastically reduce her overall performance and leave her at the mercy of the endgame environment.
Silver Wolf serves as the primary damage dealer in the Elation team. Her kit is very selfish and offers no teamwide buffs, but her Multiplier Value is quite high, with a strong ceiling when paired with ideal teammates — at the time of her release, those being Yao Guang and Sparxie. Silver Wolf also naturally generates a significant amount of Skill Points through her Top Loot Box, and since consuming Skill Points also triggers Top Loot Box, her teammates are highly incentivised to use their Skills as often as possible.
Due to her damage being distributed mostly through bounce or spread hits, Silver Wolf performs best against a small number of enemies, as more targets on the field means her damage is spread across less consequential ones.
All in all, Silver Wolf Lv. 999 lives up to her hype as an Elation Hypercarry — though she is exceptionally reliant on having all of her fundamental team pieces in place to reach peak performance.
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 HSR Core Skills

Basic Attack – One Punch!: Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 100% of Silver Wolf LV.999’s ATK to one designated enemy.

Enhanced Basic Attack – Bonus Stage: αWolf Instant: Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 240% of Silver Wolf LV.999’s ATK, split evenly into 100 bounces that hit random single enemies. After bouncing a certain number of times, the bouncing pauses and triggers Top Loot Box 1 time, for a total of 3 triggers.
If all enemies on the field take fatal damage, this ability ends. When enemy targets that can be attacked remain, gains 1 extra turn and uses this ability again based on the remaining bounces and Top Loot Box triggers. The first time this effect triggers per turn, extends the duration of all buffs on this unit by 1 turn.
After all of the above DMG is dealt, unleashes a Final Hit that deals Imaginary DMG equal to 100% of Silver Wolf LV.999’s ATK, split evenly among all enemies.
Enhanced Basic ATK cannot recover Skill Points. For every 60 points of “Hidden MMR,” increases DMG dealt during Enhanced Basic ATK by 15% of the original DMG, stackable up to 2 times.

Skill – Trigger Happy: Gains 5 Punchline point(s) and deals Imaginary DMG equal to 160% of Silver Wolf LV.999’s ATK to all enemies.

Elation Skill – Pro-Gamer Move: Gains 15 “Hidden MMR” point(s).

Enhanced Elation Skill – Honkai-DMG Demo: Deals 6 instances of DMG, with each instance dealing 90% Imaginary Elation DMG to one random enemy. Then, resets the fixed chance to trigger “Top Loot Box” to its initial value.

Ultimate – God Mode: ON!: Enters the “Godmode Player” state, and advances action by 100%.
Deploys a Zone while in the “Godmode Player” state. While Silver Wolf LV.999 possesses “Certified Banger,” each time an ally target within the Zone consumes 1 Skill Point, there is a chance to trigger 1 time Silver Wolf LV.999’s “Top Loot Box”: Deal Imaginary Elation DMG equal to 90% split evenly among all enemies, and randomly trigger 1 of the following effects:
- “Big Flipping Sword”: Additionally deals True DMG to the enemy target with the highest HP equal to 20% of the total DMG dealt this time.
- “Kaboom Eggsplosion”: Recovers 2 Skill Point(s).
- “Funky Munch Bean”: Gains 3 Punchline(s).
The initial fixed chance to trigger this effect is 100%. After successfully triggering, the fixed chance for the subsequent trigger is reduced to 20% of the current chance. If the target is defeated before triggering, this effect triggers on the enemy target that just entered instead.

Talent – I Carry, We Win: After reaching 60 “Hidden MMR” points, the Ultimate can be activated. After reaching the maximum limit, it can overflow by an additional 240 point(s).
When gaining Punchline, Silver Wolf LV.999 gains an equal amount of “Hidden MMR.” Each point of “Hidden MMR” increases CRIT Rate by 0.4%. After CRIT Rate increases to 100%, each remaining point of “Hidden MMR” switches to increasing CRIT DMG by 0.8%.
While in the “Godmode Player” state, Silver Wolf LV.999 is immune to Crowd Control debuffs, her CRIT DMG increases by 0%, cannot use her Ultimate, and gains Enhanced Basic ATK and Enhanced Elation Skill. After completely using Enhanced Basic ATK 3 time(s), she exits the “Godmode Player” state. After exiting the “Godmode Player” state, “Hidden MMR” is cleared.
While in possession of “Certified Banger,” using Basic ATK or Skill against attacked enemy targets deals 40% Imaginary Elation DMG. Enhanced Basic ATK’s ability DMG is converted to Elation DMG at the same multiplier.
Exclusive Effect – McAwolfee 999: Gain this effect after obtaining “Silver Wolf LV.999” or when “Silver Wolf LV.999” is present in the current team: In battle, if an enemy target inflicts a Crowd Control debuff on an ally, all allies gain “Firewall” for 1 turn. While in the “Firewall” state, ally targets are immune to Crowd Control debuffs inflicted by enemy targets. This effect can trigger at most 1 time per wave.

Technique – This? Absolute Meta!: Summons “Funky Munch Bean.” Use again to dismiss. Using Technique does not consume Technique Points. When Technique Points reach 0, the summon is dismissed and Technique cannot be used.
“Funky Munch Bean” causes Normal Enemies within a certain range to enter a Terrified state. It will also automatically search for and attack Normal Enemies, consuming 1 Technique Point to instantly defeat them without entering combat.
While “Funky Munch Bean” is present, after entering combat, 1 instance of “Top Loot Box” from “Funky Munch Bean” is triggered at the start of each wave. The Elation DMG dealt in this instance takes into account a fixed amount of 99 “Certified Banger” points.

Eidolon & Investment Priority
Here’s the revised version:
Silver Wolf Lv. 999’s Eidolons are strong by modern standards, though not as egregious as outliers like Evernight, Cyrene, or Phainon, whose Eidolons are outright game-warping.
Her E1 applies an AoE Vulnerability debuff to enemies while she is in her Ultimate form, boosting the entire team’s damage. This is particularly relevant when Sparxie is on the team, as her own damage contribution is quite significant. This Eidolon also allows Silver Wolf to retain 20% of her Hidden MMR upon exiting “Godmode Player,” letting her re-enter the state much more quickly.
Her E2 is a monstrous upgrade, potentially granting her 2 extra actions while in Godmode Player — provided the team and/or environment can supply enough Punchline and Hidden MMR. It has a high ceiling, but also requires investment to get the most out of it.
Her E4 massively improves her Enhanced Elation Skill’s damage by effectively multiplying the Punchline count used in its damage calculation by 6.
Finally, her E6 is powerful, granting her a rare 50% unique modifier called Merrymake — currently only available on units like Yao Guang at E6 — making it highly impactful. This Eidolon also causes all enemies to have All-Type Weakness and reduces their All-Type Base Resistance to 0, turning Silver Wolf into a versatile damage dealer capable of handling almost any situation.
As for investment strategy, players should prioritize Silver Wolf’s teammates first, with Yao Guang being the most important. After that, her E2 is highly impactful and should be prioritized over her Signature Light Cone — though players who cannot immediately push for E2 can opt for the Signature Light Cone first to improve her performance, then work toward E2 later. Beyond E2S1, players looking to invest further into the Silver Wolf team can consider picking up Sparxie and Yao Guang’s E1.

HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Light Cones
Premium Options

Welcome to the Cosmic City: Increases the wearer’s SPD by 18%, and the Elation DMG dealt ignores 20% of the target’s DEF. When the wearer uses Ultimate on themselves, gains 20 “Punchline.” This effect can be triggered up to 1 time, and will be reset after using Basic ATK 3 time(s).
Silver Wolf’s Signature Light Cone is a significant improvement to her operation. Reaching 160 Speed without this Light Cone can be tough, and even if players can already reach this threshold without it, extra Speed means more Elation% for Silver Wolf. Furthermore, this Light Cone essentially refunds her an additional 20 Hidden MMR whenever she uses her Ultimate, on top of a 20% Def Ignore.

Today’s Good Luck: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%. When the wearer uses an Elation Skill, increases Elation by 12%, stacking up to 2 times.
As Elation’s Light Cone options are limited, this cone offers the greatest stat boost to Silver Wolf among the available alternatives — though it does nothing to improve her operation.
F2P Options

Mushy Shroomy’s Adventure: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 12%. When the wearer uses an Elation Skill, increases Elation DMG taken by all enemies by 6% for 2 turn(s).
Another viable alternative that provides a solid stat boost for Silver Wolf, and one that can easily be obtained at Superimposition 5 through the Memory of Chaos Shop.

Tomorrow, Together: Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 12%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases the Elation of all allies by 8%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Players will get this from the event in Patch 4.2. This serves as a good placeholder for Silver Wolf until they can afford better alternatives.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Main Stats
- Body: Crit Rate% / Crit Damage%
- Feet: Speed
- Orb: HP% / Def %
- Rope: HP% / Def %
Since Elation Damage scales off Crit, and Silver Wolf also converts excess Crit Rate from Hidden MMR into Crit Damage, she should run either a Crit Rate% or Crit Damage% Body piece. For Boots, Speed is always the priority to reach the 160 Speed threshold required by her trace.
Since the majority of Silver Wolf’s damage is Elation Damage — which uses a fixed Attack value rather than her own Attack stat — it does not scale with normal Damage%. Additionally, since Silver Wolf has no conventional Energy mechanic, players can safely run HP% or DEF% on her Orb and Rope to improve survivability without sacrificing damage output.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Sub Stats
- Speed
- Crit Rate% / Crit Damage%
- HP%
Silver Wolf Lv. 999’s most important substat to get from relics is Speed. Afterward, Crit Rate & Crit Damage are good substates to look for to improve her damage output. HP% and Def% are also useful to improve her survivability.
Main Stats Goal & Speedtuning:
- Goal: 160+, ideally as high a speed as possible.
Silver Wolf must reach the 160 Speed threshold first to get the 50% Elation boost from her major trace. Speed is highly influential to her operation, regardless, as Silver Wolf wants to use her Enhanced Basic Attack as quickly as possible to enter another Ultimate’s cycle. In combat, players can aim for a threshold of 200 Speed to get 3 turns in the first cycle and 2 turns in subsequent cycles.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Relics
Option A

Ever-Glorious Magical Girl:
- 2-Pc: Increases CRIT DMG by 16%.
- 4-Pc: The Elation DMG dealt by the wearer and their memosprites ignores 10% of targets’ DEF. For every 5 accumulated Punchline allies gain, the Elation DMG dealt additionally ignores 1% of targets’ DEF, stacking up to 10 time(s).
This set is tailor-made for Elation Damage Dealers and provides the most damage boost. The Def Ignore also synergizes well with her Signature Light Cone.
Option B

Diviner of Distant Reach:
- 2-Pc: Increases SPD by 6%.
- 4-Pc: Before entering combat, if the wearer’s SPD is greater than or equal to 120/160, increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 10%/18%. When the wearer uses Elation Skill for the first time in each battle, enhances all allies’ Elation by 10%. This effect cannot stack.
A very strong option for Silver Wolf. This set gives both Speed and Crit Rate, two stats that she highly appreciates. The sole problem is that the Elation teamwide buff does not stack, which means that this will most likely be wasted when used with other units with this same set, such as Yao Guang or Elation Trailblazer.
Option C

2+2 Pieces With Speed Bonus: Players can also go for any 2+2 combinations of sets that give a Speed bonus as placeholders until they can transition to a full set.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Planar Sets

Punklorde Stage Zero:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 8%. When Elation reaches 40%/80% for the first time in combat, increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20%/32%.
This planar set is made with Silver Wolf in mind, and there is no other set in the game that grants Elation% bonus.
For placeholder options, players can use sets like Izumo for the Crit boost (since Silver Wolf will play with Elation teammates always) or any Speed bonus Planar, but they will be quite behind this set, so players should farm this set for her as a priority.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Teammates
Due to the limited pool of Elation teammates available at the launch of her banner, Silver Wolf Lv. 999 has very few team options. Given how hungry she is for Hidden MMR, her teammates’ primary priority should be Punchline generation, alongside providing damage boosts for the team. Since Elation Damage does not scale with Damage% or Attack%, Silver Wolf favors teammates that offer amplification through stats like Defense Ignore/Reduction, Speed, Crit Damage, Crit Rate, Resistance Penetration, and Vulnerability.

Yao Guang: Yao Guang is an exceptional teammate for Silver Wolf and should be considered her best-in-slot at the time of Silver Wolf’s release. Yao Guang can forcibly trigger Aha Instants that account for 20 Punchline — or 40 with her E1 — meaning she can directly feed Silver Wolf’s Hidden MMR through her second trace. On top of that, Yao Guang provides substantial damage boosts to Elation damage dealers overall, making her an invaluable addition to a team alongside Silver Wolf and Sparxie.

Sparxie: Sparxie is the best Punchline generator in the game at the time of Silver Wolf’s release. She can also make use of the large number of Skill Points that Silver Wolf and Yao Guang generate to deal more damage and trigger the Top Loot Box effect, boasts strong damage output in her own right, and provides a teamwide Crit Damage boost.

Elation Trailblazer: Elation supports can trigger Silver Wolf’s Elation Skill through their Ultimate, with each trigger accounting for a fixed 20 Punchlines — directly generating Hidden MMR for Silver Wolf. They can also provide some damage boosts, though the values are fairly mediocre.

Asta: Asta is the best Speed buffer in the game. Her substantial Speed boost allows Silver Wolf to act much more frequently while also directly increasing her Elation% through her trace. As such, Asta serves as a solid free-to-play alternative for Silver Wolf until more premium teammates become available.

Sparkle / Remembrance Trailblazer: These units all provide amplifications that Silver Wolf can make use of, such as True Damage, Vulnerability, and Crit Damage%. Furthermore, they can also Action Advance Silver Wolf to let her exhaust her Enhanced Basic Attack quicker.
Sustain

Huohuo: Huohuo is the currently best sustain unit for the Elation team thanks to her teamwide Energy Regeneration boost. This allows units like Yao Guang and Elation Trailblazer to feed Silver Wolf’s Hidden MMR much faster compared to other options.
HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Teams
As of Patch 4.2, Silver Wolf Lv. 999’s potential team options are very limited, thus we only list her notable teams and will update as there are more options being added into the game.
Silver Wolf Sample Team:

HSR Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Pull Value and Conclusion
Compared to the Remembrance units of patch 3.x, Elation units codepend on each other even more strongly, and Silver Wolf Lv. 999 is the perfect encapsulation of this design philosophy. Her kit is built around the interactions of units that were already released to set the stage for her — namely, Yao Guang and Sparxie — and her performance drops sharply without them, particularly Yao Guang.
Pulling for Silver Wolf will require players to invest in assembling the full Elation team to maximize her value; without it, she will feel noticeably lackluster. Her global passive, while useful, is also comparatively tame next to Castorice’s, so players should not pull for her solely for that effect.
That said, with her full team in place, Silver Wolf’s ceiling can be quite monstrous — matching most of the current top teams and potentially surpassing them once she receives a dedicated sustain unit, assuming that unit improves her as much as Hyacine once did for Castorice.
All in all, and befitting Silver Wolf’s personality, players should either go all-in on her team or skip her entirely if they have no plans to obtain Yao Guang or Sparxie. For those who already have one or both, however, she will be an outstanding pull that can serve them well throughout the entirety of patch 4.x.
