Jingliu: Guide, Skills, Builds, Teams & More
Jingliu is an Ice Destruction unit released in version 1.4 of the game. At the start of patch 3.4, Jingliu received a significant rework that changes her gameplay and power. While her core identity as a unit with a transformation mechanism unlocked via her Syzygy stacks remains, Jingliu has become an HP-scaling Damage Dealer with much better DPS windows.
As Jingliu’s current form is better in practically all situations compared to her old versions, this guide will focus strictly on her renewed skillset.
Jingliu Release Date
Jingliu will rerun on the second part of patch 3.4, lasting from July 23rd, 2025, to August 13th, 2025.
Jingliu Kit Overview (Trace Level 10)
Syzygy & Spectral Transmigration
Jingliu’s kit is built around the management of her “Syzygy” stacks and her special transformation state called Spectral Transmigration. Every time Jingliu uses her Skill while untransformed or her Ultimate, she gains 1 stack of Syzygy. Upon reaching 2 stacks of Syzygy, she will advance herself by 100% and enter the Spectral Transmigration state.
Within this state, Jingliu gains several effects. First, she will increase her Crit Rate by 50%. Her skill is enhanced, turning from a Single-Target attack into a Blast attack, and does not consume Skill Points, but each Skill Usage will consume one stack of Syzygy. Jingliu will leave this state after she consumes all her Syzygy stacks, and she can gain up to 4 stacks of Syzygy during the Spectral Transmigration state, so Jingliu can stay in this state indefinitely, provided she keeps gaining Syzygy stacks to maintain it.
Any of her attacks during this state will also consume HP from all her teammates, equal to 5%. This is relevant for two reasons. The first is that she will gain a stack of “Moonlight” whenever an ally takes damage or consumes HP, with each stack increasing her Crit Damage by 44%, capped at 5 stacks. Furthermore, every 20 times an allies take damage or consumes their HP, Jungliu will gain a stack of Syzygy.
Traces
- Jingliu’s first major trace is Deathrealm, which increases her Effect RES by 35% and Ultimate Damage by 20% during the Spectral Transmigration state.
- Her second trace – Sword Champion restores an additional 15 Energy when she uses her normal Skill and 8 Energy when she uses her Enhanced Skill.
- Her last trace – Frost Wraith lets her next attack ignore 25% of the target’s Defense when she gains a Syzygy while already at max stacks.
Technique
Jingliu has a strong technique. Upon usage, it creates a field that freezes everything around her. Upon entering combat, she will immediately regenerate 15 Energy, gain 1 stack of Sygyzy, and freeze all enemies for 1 turn (with 100% base chance). This helps her quickly enter her Transmigration State after just 1 Skill usage.
Overall
Jingliu’s core gameplay does not change much from her old version. However, she does gain some significant quality-of-life as well as scaling improvement. The biggest change is that Jingliu now scales with HP instead of Attack, which does alter some of her best-in-slot teammates’ options, where Attack-based buffers are now much less valued. In return, she does have a better multiplier value now, resulting in stronger damage output.
The other improvement is her ability to gain extra Syzygy stacks from teammates losing HP, which extends her transformation massively compared to the more rigid turn structures that she once had. This gives her a massive synergy with Hyacine’s Signature Light Cone that can easily fulfill the condition to make her transformation close to indefinite.
Post buffs, Jingliu’s power level is still not on the same level as any 3.x characters and onward, but she does become noticeably stronger compared to before. Her current strength is much more aligned with a 2.x Damage Dealer when it comes to Memory of Chaos. However, she is still quite mediocre in Apocalyptic Shadow due to her lack of any mechanics to tackle this mode, and terrible in Pure Fiction due to her lack of strong AoE damage.
Jingliu Core Skills

Basic Attack – Lucent Moonglow: Deals Ice DMG equal to 50% of Jingliu’s Max HP to one designated enemy.

Skill – Transcendent Flash: Deals Ice DMG equal to 150% of Jingliu’s Max HP to one designated enemy and obtains 1 stack(s) of “Syzygy”.

Enhanced Skill – Moon On Glacial River: Deals Ice DMG equal to 150% of Jingliu’s Max HP to one designated enemy, and deals Ice DMG equal to 75% of Jingliu’s Max HP to adjacent enemies. Consumes 1 stack(s) of “Syzygy.” Using this ability does not consume Skill Points.

Ultimate – Florephemeral Dreamflux: Deals Ice DMG equal to 180% of Jingliu’s Max HP to one designated enemy, and deals Ice DMG equal to 90% of Jingliu’s Max HP to their adjacent enemies. Gains 1 stack(s) of “Syzygy” after attack ends.

Talent – Crescent Transmigration: When Jingliu has 2 stacks of “Syzygy,” she enters the “Spectral Transmigration” state, additionally gains 1 stack of “Syzygy,” action advances by 100%, and her CRIT Rate increases by 50%. Then, Jingliu’s Skill “Transcendent Flash” is enhanced to “Moon On Glacial River,” and only this enhanced Skill is available for use in battle. When Jingliu uses an attack in the Spectral Transmigration state, she consumes HP from her teammates equal to 5% of their respective Max HP (this cannot reduce teammates’ HP to lower than 1). When in the “Spectral Transmigration” state, Jingliu gains 1 stack of “Moonlight” whenever ally targets receive DMG or consume HP. Each stack of “Moonlight” increases Jingliu’s CRIT DMG by 44%, up to 5 stacks. Jingliu cannot enter the “Spectral Transmigration” state again until the current “Spectral Transmigration” state ends. “Syzygy” can stack up to 4 times. When “Syzygy” stacks become 0, Jingliu will exit the “Spectral Transmigration” state and remove all “Moonlight.” After ally targets receive DMG or consume HP a total of 20 times, Jingliu gains 1 stack of “Syzygy.” This takes effect a maximum of 1 time per attack received by each target.

Technique – Shine of Truth: After using this Technique, creates a Special Dimension around Jingliu that lasts for 20 seconds, and all enemies in this Special Dimension will become Frozen. After entering combat with enemies in the Special Dimension, Jingliu immediately regenerates 15 Energy and obtains 1 stack(s) of “Syzygy,” with a 100% base chance of Freezing enemy targets for 1 turn(s). While Frozen, enemy targets cannot take action, and receive Ice Additional DMG equal to 80% of Jingliu’s Max HP at the start of every tur.
Jingliu Traces

Deathrealm: While in the “Spectral Transmigration” state, Effect RES increases by 35%, and Ultimate DMG dealt increases by 20%.

Sword Champion: After using “Transcendent Flash,” regenerate an additional 15 Energy, and after using “Moon On Glacial River,” regenerate an additional 8 Energy.

Frost Wraith: When obtaining “Syzygy” at max stacks, Jingliu’s next attack ignores 25% of the target’s DEF.
Jingliu Eidolons

- Moon Crashes Tianguan Gate: When using her Ultimate or Enhanced Skill, Jingliu’s CRIT DMG increases by 36% for 1 turn(s). Moreover, additionally deals 1 instance of Ice DMG equal to 80% of Jingliu’s Max HP to the primary target.
- Crescent Shadows Qixing Dipper: After using Ultimate, the DMG of the next Enhanced Skill is increased by 80%.
- Halfmoon Gapes Mercurial Haze: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Lunarlance Shines Skyward Dome: While in the “Spectral Transmigration” state, each stack of “Moonlight” additionally increases CRIT DMG by 20%
- Night Shades Astral Radiance: Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
- Eclipse Hollows Corporeal Husk: When Jingliu enters the “Spectral Transmigration” state, the “Syzygy” stack limit increases by 1, and Jingliu obtains 2 stack(s) of “Syzygy.” While she is in the “Spectral Transmigration” state, her Ice RES PEN increases by 30%
Eidolon Priority
Jingliu has two noticeable Eidolons – E1 and E6. Her E1 greatly improves her Damage output against a primary target, while her E6 practically ensures she never leaves the Spectral Transmigration state. However, by modern characters’ standard, Jingliu’s Eidolons are not exceptional and not worth going for at this stage of the game.
- Eidolon 1: High
- Eidolon 2: Medium
- Eidolon 4: Low
- Eidolon 6: High

Premium Options

I Shall Be My Own Sword: Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20% / 23% / 26% / 29% / 32%. When a teammate gets attacked or loses HP, the wearer gains 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a max of 3 stack(s). Each stack of Eclipse increases the DMG of the wearer’s next attack by 14% / 16.5% / 19% / 21.5% / 24%. When 3 stack(s) are reached, additionally enables that attack to ignore 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% / 20% of the enemy’s DEF. This effect will be removed after the wearer uses an attack.
Jingliu’s Signature Light Cone provides great damage boost to herself, but does not generally improve her operation. It is not a bad Signature Light Cone by itself, but rather underwhelming compared to other Damage Dealers’ Signature Light Cones released after. It also is not splashable on other Destruction Characters, since very few units can actively lower the team HP.

A Trail of Bygone Blood: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% / 20%. The Skill DMG and Ultimate DMG dealt by the wearer increase by 24% / 28% / 32% / 36% / 40%.
A fantastic option for Jingliu for any players that are willing to buy the Battle Pass since Jingliu benefits from all the effects it provides.
Free-To-Play Options

Ninja Record: Sound Hunt: Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24%. When losing or restoring this unit’s HP, increases CRIT DMG by 18% / 22.5% / 27% / 31.5% / 36%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once per turn.
The best F2P option since players can get this for free from the event / Herta Simulated and Jingliu can make use of both its effect.
Jingliu Main Stats
- Body: HP% > Crit Damage% > Crit Rate%
- Feet: Speed > HP%
- Orb: HP% / Ice Damage%
- Rope: HP%
Jingliu gains a lot of Crit Rate and Crit Damage from her kits and notable teammates. Her kits alone give 50% free Crit Rate and 220 Crit Damage, while two of her best potential teammates are Sunday and Remembrance Trailblazer, both giving more Crit Rate and Crit Damage. As such, she is one of the very rare Damage Dealers who can forego Crit stats on her chest. HP% should yield the best return damage-wise as long as she get 100% Crit Rate during Spectral Transmigration state. If not, Crit Rate% / Crit Damage% chest pieces are acceptable. For boot, Jingliu can use either Speed or HP%. Speed is best when paired with someone like Sunday or Bronya in a -1 Speed setup where they move after her, while HP% can be good when there are characters that can advance her forward often like Tribbie with the Dance Dance Dance Light Cone and Remembrance Trailblazer. For Orb, both HP% or Ice Damage% are acceptable to improve her damage output. For Rope, she will want HP% Rope to max out her damage.
Jingliu Sub Stats
- HP%
- Crit Damage / Crit Rate
- Speed
Jingliu mostly scales with HP%, Crit Rate% and Crit Damage%. HP% is possibly the best stats to get on her pieces since she is oversaturated with both Crit Rate% and Crit Damage%. Speed subs are quite important to reach certain breakpoint like 134 Speed, but anything beyond that is unnecessary.
Main Stats Goal & Speedtuning:
- Goal: 134+ Speed when used with Bronya / Sunday
Jingliu does not have any huge Speed breakpoint beyond being 1 point faster than Bronya / Sunday to make them move after her so that she can quickly transform and and uses her Skills in quick succession. 134 Speed is the universally useful breakpoint for fast clear since it lets her move twice during the first Cycle or 150 Action Value.
Jingliu Relics
Option A

Scholar Lost in Erudition:
- 2-Pc: Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
- 4-Pc: Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This set is Jingliu’s best-in-slot set as she can make use of every single stats it provide.
Option B

Longevous Disciple:
- 2-Pc: Increases Max HP by 12%.
- 4-Pc: When the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally or themselves, their CRIT Rate increases by 8% for 2 turn(s) and up to 2 stacks.
With Jingliu being an HP-scaling Damage Dealer now, Longevous becomes one of best options, providing a massive 12% HP boost and 16% Crit Rate.
Option C

Genius of Brilliant Stars
- 2-Pc: Increases Quantum DMG by 10%.
- 4-Pc: When the wearer deals DMG to the target enemy, ignores 10% DEF. If the target enemy has Quantum Weakness, the wearer additionally ignores 10% DEF.
Jingliu scales well with Def Ignore / Def Shred, and this set has fantastic synergy with her Signature Light Cone.
Option D

Hunter of Glacial Forest
- 2-Pc: Increases Ice DMG by 10%.
- 4-Pc: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their CRIT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turn(s).
The bonus it provides is the weakest amongst the options so far, but it is still an acceptable placeholder set.
Jingliu Planar Sets

Rutilant Arena:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill increases by 20%.
Jingliu’s damage primarily comes from her Enhanced Skill so Rutilant is a natural option for her.

Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 12%. When the wearer’s Max HP is 5000 or higher, increases the wearer’s and their memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 28%.
Bone Collector provides both HP% and Crit Damage%, making it a competitive option for Jingliu.
Jingliu Teammates
Jingliu prefers the classic hypercarry support units to her teammates. With the change to her kit, Attack buffers such as Robin and Tingyun lose a lot of value when paired with Jingliu, while units that provide Action Advance, Debuffs, and Energy are still highly desirable. A notable synergy with Jingliu is Hyacine’s Signature Light Cone – Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky. As this Light Cone consumes the entire team’s HP with any action out of Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate, any unit that can utilize this becomes Jingliu’s best-in-slot teammates as it can single-handedly keep her in Spectral Transmigration state indefinitely.
Amplifiers

Sunday: Sunday is Jingliu’s best Harmony teammate. He has 100% Action Advance, Energy, and a slew of powerful single-target buffs that Jingliu highly appreciates. Between his Light Cone and Jingliu’s good SP economy, the team will also have plenty of SP to spare.

Tribbie: Tribbie is the best Support for HP-scaling Damage Dealers as she can increase their Max HP, while also providing powerful teamwide buffs.

Remembrance Trailblazer: Remembrance Trailblazer brings both Action Advance and an undiluted buff in True Damage. Furthermore, if the player has Hyacine’s Signature Light Cone, Remembrance Trailblazer can utilize that quite effectively as well.

Bronya: Bronya is the poor man’s Sunday as the Action Advance Support for Jingliu. While her SP economy may be poor, her damage buffing capacity is still highly effective.

Cipher / Silver Wolf: Jingliu scales exceptionally well with Nihility amplifiers since she is overstaurated with Crit Damage and Damage% boost, especially units that provide Def Shred since her Signature Light Cone also provides it.
Sustain

Hyacine: Hyacine is the only sustain unit at the moment that can utilize the Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky Light Cone. Furthermore, since Jingliu team tend to overflow in Skill Point, Hyacine can spam her Skill with reckless abandon to supply the team with massive heal and AoE Damage.
Jingliu Teams

Jingliu Premium Hypercarry Team: The best team for Jingliu should at least consist of Sunday and Hyacine. Other Support units like Tribbie, Silver Wolf, Remembrance Trailblazer, and Cipher are all fantastic options for the last spot.

Jingliu F2P Team: Jingliu can utilize a number of F2P-friendly supports such as Bronya, Pela, and Remembrance Trailblazer.
Jingliu Pull Value and Conclusion
Jingliu should be a skip for all players at this point in the game. While her glowup has certainly been noticeable, she is still not on the same level as recent units like The Herta, Castorice, or Anaxa as a Damage Dealer. Furthermore, Jingliu is quite one-dimensional and only work well in Memory of Chaos, leaving her at a massive disadvantage when compared to Damage Dealers that can tackle different form of endgame content.
