Saber Release Date
Saber’s is a collaboration unit that will be from the first half of Version 3.4, releasing on July 2nd, 2025, and will run until the end of Version 3.7. Saber Kit Overview (Trace Level 10)
Ultimate & “Core Resonance”
Saber’s primary source of damage is her fabled Ultimate (or Noble Phantasm in Fate’s terms) – Excalibur. She has a 360 Energy cap – the highest in the game on release. This Ultimate will deal one instance of damage to all enemies, then 10 single-target additional hits that hit enemies randomly. Combined, this Ultimate is a 1380% – MV nukes if there is a single enemy on the field, and more depending on the number of enemies that her initial hit strikes.
After using her Ultimate, Saber enhanced her next Basic Attack into Release, the Golden Scepter. This is a 150% Attack to all enemies, but if the number of enemies on the field is 2/1, it will deal an additional 150% / 220% Attack, respectively, to all enemies, making it a 300% nuke against 2 enemies and a 370% nuke against 1 enemy. Saber must use this Enhanced Basic Attack the turn after unleashing her Ultimate, after which she can use her normal Basic Attack / Skill again.
To supplement this massive Ultimate, Saber has a unique stack mechanic called Core Resonance from her Talent, which is a focal point of her kit. She gains 1 stack of Core Resonance at the start of the battle, and whenever any ally uses an Ultimate, she gains a 60% Damage boost for 2 turns and 3 stacks of Core Resonance. Saber can also gain 2 stacks of Core Resonance from using her Enhanced Basic Attack and 3 stacks from her Skill. Her Technique also grants her 2 Core Resonance at the start of the battle.
Each Core Resonance stack represents 8 Energy. When Saber uses her Skill, which is a Blast Attack, if her Energy gauge can fill up to full if all stacks of Core Resonance is consumed after the attack, then increase the Damage multiplier of this Skill use by 14% per stack and consume all Core Resonance stacks to fully charge her Energy gauge. If this happened, Saber would not gain the 3 Core Resonance stacks she normally would by using Skill.
Whenever Saber enters battle and after using her Enhanced Basic Attack, she will gain a “Mana Burst” status. If Saber possesses Mana Burst after filling her Energy gauge to max with her Skill effects, she will consume this status, recover 1 Skill Point, and immediately grant her an extra turn. In practice, Saber will always have this status when the conditions are met.
Traces
Saber’s first major trace is Knight of the Dragon. Aside from giving her Mana Burst, this trace also increases her Crit Rate by 20%.
Her second trace – Blessing of the Lake allows Saber to accumulate up to 120 excess Energy. After using her Ultimate, she will clear the amount of excess energy and fill up her energy gauge with the stored amount. At the start of the battle, this trace will also increase her Energy gauge to 60%.
Her last trace – Crown of the Star, is another stats booster. When using Skill, this trace increases Saber’s Crit Damage by 50% for 2 turns. Furthermore, for each stack of Core Resonance she gained during the battle, her Crit Damage is increased by 4%, capped at 32% Crit Damage total.
Overall
Despite the large amount of text in her kit, Saber plays quite straightforwardly. She is a classic Crit-focused Hypercarry DPS that wants as much Energy and extra actions as possible to stack up the amount of Core Resonances and quickly access her Noble Phantasm to deal massive AoE nuke. Her kit also has a highly flexible damage profile, having a good mix of full AoE, Bounce, and Blast damage. Her excess Energy mechanics also let Saber dictate when she can unleash her Burst without wasting any Energy from holding her Ultimate.
Due to how generic Saber’s kit is, she scales exceptionally well with most high-profile Harmony / Nihility units, and can scale well with future supports. In general, supports that can let her move often via Action Advance or any units with a percentage-based Energy boost will vastly benefit Saber. She also has synergy with units that can spam their Ultimate often, as this can also charge her
Saber Core Skills

Basic Attack – Invisible Air: Barrier of the Wind King: Deals Wind DMG equal to 100% of Saber’s ATK to one designated enemy.

Skill – Strike Air: Hammer of the Wind King: Deals Wind DMG equal to 150% of Saber’s ATK to one designated enemy, and deals Wind DMG equal to 75% of Saber’s ATK to adjacent targets. If Saber currently possesses “Core Resonance” and her Energy can be regenerated to full by consuming “Core Resonance” after this instance of Skill attack, then increase the DMG multiplier for this instance of Skill use by 14% for each stack of “Core Resonance,” and consume all “Core Resonance” to regenerate Energy for Saber after attacking. Otherwise, immediately gains 3 point(s) of “Core Resonance.”.

Ultimate – Excalibur: Deals Wind DMG equal to 280% of Saber’s ATK to all enemies, and additionally deals 10 instance(s) of DMG. Each instance of DMG deals Wind DMG equal to 110% of Saber’s ATK to one random enemy. After using Ultimate, the next Basic ATK switches to “Release, the Golden Scepter,” and only “Release, the Golden Scepter” can be used.

Enhanced Basic Attack – Release, the Golden Scepter: Gains 2 “Core Resonance” and deals Wind DMG equal to 150% of Saber’s ATK to all enemies. If the number of enemies is 2/1 when this ability is used, it additionally deals Wind DMG equal to 150%/220% of Saber’s ATK to all enemies.

Talent – Dragon Reactor Core: Obtains 1 “Core Resonance” point(s) when entering battle. When any ally target uses an Ultimate, increases DMG dealt by Saber by 60% for 2 turn(s) and obtains 3 “Core Resonance” point(s). Consuming 1 “Core Resonance” point will regenerate a fixed 8 Energy for Saber.

Technique – Behold, the King of Knights: After using Technique, increases Saber’s ATK by 35% for 2 turn(s) at the start of the next battle and gains 2 “Core Resonance”.
Saber Traces

Knight of the Dragon: Increases Saber’s CRIT Rate by 20%. When entering battle and when using her Enhanced Basic ATK, obtains the “Mana Burst” effect. Under the effect, if Saber has “Core Resonance” and her Energy can be fully regenerated by using her Skill and consuming “Core Resonance,” consumes “Mana Burst” to recover 1 Skill Point for allies, and Saber immediately takes action.

Blessing of the Lake: Saber can accumulate up to 120 excess Energy. After using Ultimate, the excess Energy is cleared and a corresponding amount is regenerated. When the battle starts, if Energy is below 60%, it is regenerated to 60%.

Crown of the Star: When using Skill, increases Saber’s CRIT DMG by 50% for 2 turns. During this battle, for each point of “Core Resonance” gained, increases Saber’s CRIT DMG by 4%, stacking up to 8 time(s).
Saber Eidolons

- The Lost White Walls: Increases Ultimate DMG dealt by Saber by 60%. After Saber uses a Basic ATK or Skill, gains 1 “Core Resonance.”.
- The Lost Oath of the Round Table: For each point of “Core Resonance” gained in this battle, Saber’s DMG dealt ignores 1% of the target’s DEF. This effect can stack up to 15 time(s). When triggering the “Core Resonance’s” Skill multiplier effect, each point of “Core Resonance” additionally increases the DMG multiplier for this instance of Skill by 7%.
- A Wish Across Fifteen Centuries: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
- The Saga of Sixteen Winter Days: Increases Saber’s Wind RES PEN by 8%. After using Ultimate, increases Saber’s Wind RES PEN by 4%. This effect can stack up to 3 time(s).
- The Dreamed Utopian Dawn: Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- The Long Fated Night: Wind RES PEN of Ultimate DMG dealt by Saber increases by 20%, and the Overflow Energy that can be accumulated by the Trace “Blessing of the Lake” increases to 200. When using Ultimate for the first time after entering battle, regenerates a fixed 300 Energy for Saber. This effect can be triggered 1 time after every 3 Ultimate use(s).
Eidolon Priority
Saber does not have monstrous early Eidolons like many recently released units. While her E1, E2, and E4 are all solid boosts to her Damage, they don’t fundamentally change her gameplay. As such, an E0S1 Saber should already feel complete, and investing in prolific Harmony units or their Eidolon would be more beneficial to her team. Her E1 might be tempting to pick up for players who get lucky on her banner. Her E6, as usual, is a powerful but expensive upgrade for the Saber enthusiasts that massively improves both her Damage output and how often she can unleash it.

- Eidolon 2: Medium
- Eidolon 4: Medium
- Eidolon 6: Very High

Premium Options

A Thankless Coronation: Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 36% / 45% / 54% / 63% / 72%. When using their Ultimate, increases the wearer’s ATK by 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80%, and if the wearer’s Max Energy is greater than or equal to 300, regenerates a fixed amount of Energy equal to 10% of the wearer’s Max Energy and increases their ATK by 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% for 2 turns.
Per usual, Saber’s Signature Light Cone should be her best-in-slot option. Aside from the massive Attack and Crit Damage boost it provides, this Light Cone also grants extra Energy every time she uses her Ultimate, which helps a lot with her operation.

A Trail of Bygone Blood: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% / 20%. The Skill DMG and Ultimate DMG dealt by the wearer increase by 24% / 28% / 32% / 36% / 40%.
For mild spenders who do not have enough pulls for her Signature Light Cone but are willing to wait 5 patches and stacking Battle Passes, then this Light Cone offers a very solid performance boost.
Free-To-Play Options

On the Fall of an Aeon: When the wearer attacks, increases their ATK by 8% / 10% / 12% / 14% / 16% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 times. After the wearer breaks an enemy’s Weakness, increases DMG dealt by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24%, lasting for 2 turn(s).
Aeon is a very generic Light Cone that most Destruction characters can take advantage of. If players don’t have a lot of Destruction characters that fight over the possession of this Light Cone, then it is a great F2P option for Saber.
Saber Main Stats
- Body: Crit Rate > Crit Damage
- Feet: Speed > Attack%
- Orb: Attack% / Quantum Damage%
- Rope: Attack% > Energy Regeneration Rope%
Saber Sub Stats
- Crit Damage / Crit Rate
- Speed
- Attack
For main stats, Saber should aim for Crit stats on her body, depending on what she is lacking, with Crit Rate being the better choice since many of her strong Supports have Crit Damage buffs. For her shoes, Speed is the best when used with units like Sunday or Bronya, who want to be slower than Saber to essentially double her turns.
Attack boot is acceptable if used with someone who can drag her like a high-speed Sparkle and/or when the team lacks strong Attack buffers like Robin and Tingyun.
Nonetheless, Speed boot should be generally more applicable in most situations. Her Orb / Rope should be Wind Damage% / Attack%. Saber gets a lot of Damage% from her kits and also from her Support, so Attack% Orb should slightly outperform Damage% Orb.
She also has the option to run Energy Regeneration Rope if she has a good source of Attack boost in the team for even more Ultimate spam.
Main Stats Goal & Speedtuning:
- Goal: 134+ Speed when used with Bronya / Sunday
Saber does not have any huge Speed breakpoint beyond being 1 point faster than Bronya / Sunday to make them move after her. 134 Speed is the universally useful breakpoint for fast clear since it lets her move twice during the first Cycle or 150 Action Value.
Saber Relics
Option A

Scholar Lost in Erudition
- 2-Pc: Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
- 4-Pc: Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This set is Saber’s best set by a long distance. It gives her a much-needed 8% Crit Rate boost and vastly improves the two main sources of her damage – her Ultimate and her Skill.
Option B

Wavestrider Captain
- 2-Pc: Increases CRIT DMG by 16%.
- 4-Pc: When the wearer becomes the target of another ally target’s ability, gains 1 stack of “Help,” stacking up to 2 time(s). If there are 2 stack(s) of “Help” when the wearer uses their Ultimate, consumes all “Help” to increase the wearer’s ATK by 48% for 1 turn(s).
Since Saber is often used with support units with targeting ability and her primary damage source is her Ultimate, she can make good use of Wavestrider Captain.
Option C

2+2 of different Sets
Saber does not have a good alternative set but she can run any combination of 2+2 sets that have a good 2-piece bonus (such as Attack%, Crit Rate%, Crit Damage%).
Saber Planar Sets

Inert Salsotto:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the DMG dealt by the wearer’s Ultimate and Follow-up ATK increases by 15%.
Salsotto increases her Crit Rate and Ultimate damage, making this Planar set the best option to improve her damage output.

Space Sealing Station:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s ATK increases by an extra 12%.
Since Saber generally wants to build 134+ Speed and does not have any Attack% boost from her kit, this Planar is a fantastic alternative.

Rutilant Arena:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill increases by 20%.
While her Skill and Enhanced Basic Attack do not contribute as much damage as her Ultimate, it is still a highly valuable source of damage that Rutilant Arena would amplify.
Saber Teammates
Saber favors Supports that provide Action Advance, and Energy, the most so that she can charge her Ultimate quickly. Since her kit is also saturated with Damage% boost, Nihility amplifiers are also great at boosting her damage output.
Harmony/Nihility

Sunday: Sunday is most definitely Saber’s best teammate. He combines the two things that Saber wants in one unit: a 100% Action Advance and a 20% Energy boost. Since Saber’s max Energy is so high, Sunday’s Ultimate would grant her a whopping 72 Energy per use.

Robin: Robin provides a monstrous amount of Attack boost and provides Action Advance for not only Saber but also the entire team. A Sunday Saber Robin team can get 4 consecutive Saber actions very quickly and quite often.

Tribbie: Tribbie is the best Support for AoE battle. She can provide both permanent uptime buff, great personal damage, and Action Advance (via frequent access to the effect of the Dance Dance Dance Light Cone)

Bronya / Remembrance Trailblazer: Both Remembrance Trailblazer and Bronya are alternatives to Sunday. While they don’t have the Energy boost Sunday has, they provide 100% Action Advance that Saber appreciates.

Cipher / Jiaoqiu: Saber scales well with Nihility amplifiers since she has a lot of Damage% boost from her kits and her Supports, which can become oversaturated. The Nihility amplifiers like Cipher or Jiaoqiu debuffs add another multiplier to the damage formula, greatly boosting Saber’s damage output.

Tingyun: Tingyun is amongst Saber’s best F2P Support. She gives flat Energy and great Attack boost, and can even abuse some amazing Harmony Light Cone like Dance Dance Dance or Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds to bolster the team performance.
Sustain

Huohuo: With a 20% Energy boost as well as a 40% Attack boost from her Ultimate, Huohuo is by far Saber’s strongest sustain option.

Gallagher: Gallagher is the F2P option for Saber’s team, solely off his ability to make great use of the Quid Pro Quo Light Cone to help the Energy-starved units in Saber’s team.
Saber Teams
Saber Premium Hypercarry Team:
The premium Saber’s team should always consist of her, Sunday, and Huohuo. The last slot can vary between powerful Harmonies like Robin or Tribbie, or a Nihility amplifier like Cipher.

Saber F2P Team:
Saber is quite flexible with Support and has no trouble assembling good F2P teams with units like Remembrance Trailblazer, Bronya, or Tingyun.

Saber Pull Value and Conclusion
As a DPS, Saber is flexible and should perform very well in Memory of Chaos. Her Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow should depend on the bonus and the stage. She can abuse practically any Energy-related, Ultimate-related, and Skill-related blessings, giving her a wide range of situations to excel. Saber is also amongst the most Support-friendly DPS we have seen a while, meaning future powerful Supports will be a solid boost to her longevity.
However, Saber is at the end of the day just a Damage Dealer, which is the class that is easiest and quickest to get powercrept. This means that players with strong Damage Dealers should not feel pressured to skip her, despite her collaboration status, and should prioritize powerful Supports instead. For players who are still lacking a strong Damage Dealers that is easy to operate and has great ceiling, Saber is definitely a fantastic pickup.
