#1 Regnant
How to Acquire: This Grenade Launcher is from the Season of Defiance and can be acquired and focused from the seasonal vendor.
The Roll:
PvE
The god roll of this weapon contains the perks Envious Assassin and Cascade Point. Envious Assassin allows the magazine to be overcharged with kills from another weapon and Cascade Point increases fire rate based on precision hits or kills from another weapon.
Spike Grenades are highly recommended for increased impact damage, and Quick Launch is recommended for its Handling bonus as utilizing this weapon optimally revolves around juggling with other weapons.
To use this god roll get kills with a primary weapon to increase the magazine size of Regnant. Save this overcharged magazine for a boss damage phase and open up the phase with a special weapon such as Cloudstrike or another sniper to charge Cascade Point. When Cascade Point is charged, swap to Regnant and spam the massive overcharged magazine with a very fast fire rate.
#2 The Immortal
How To Acquire: Saint-14 will have The Immortal Submachine gun as it is a Trials of Osiris weapon.
The Rolls:
PVP
Range is the goal for this weapon in PvP. Rangefinder is a must alongside the origin perk Field-Tested which increases this weapons stats as it deals damage and gets kills. Ricochet Rounds and Hammer-Forged Rifling grant bonuses to range without sacrificing other stats, and the latter gives a nice stability boost for better control. Kill Clip rounds out this weapon to chain kills together.
PVE
This weapon is strand so it will synergize well with the new subclasses, especially because it has the new perk Hatchling. This perk is great as it activates on precision or multi-kills and does not require a reload. Nonetheless the weapon needs to be reloaded, so the other attributes boost reload. Threat Detector will boost stats when enemies are near, which is typical when playing with an SMG. Light Mag assists with reload speed, and Smallbore gives stat bonuses for better control of the weapon.
#3 Harsh Language
How to Acquire: This weapon is a world drop and is not craftable unfortunately. Get via rank up packages, the gunsmith or Xur selling it, and random drops.
The Roll:
PvE
This weapon has access to two new top tier perks: Envious Assassin and Destabilizing Rounds. High-Velocity is picked because the other option reduces Blast Radius, and Quick Launch is opted for due to the Handling Bonus it provides.
The general gameplay loop with this roll is to overcharge the magazine using another weapon to activate Envious Assassin, then utilize multiple shots, which can kill many enemies between the weapon being a Waveframe Grenade Launcher and containing Destabilizing Rounds.
Then the other weapon can be swapped back to to passively reload Harsh Language and start the process over.
#4 Royal Executioner
How to Acquire: This Fusion Rifle is from the Season of Defiance and can be acquired and focused from the seasonal vendor.
The Roll:
PvE
The god roll revolves around using Reservoir Burst which grants bonus damage when the magazine is full. Envious Assassin pairs well with this because it overflows the magazine, making all of the overflowed bursts deal the bonus damage associated with Reservoir Burst.
Enhanced Battery is used to increase magazine size, which in turn gives even more shots from Envious Assassin. Lastly Smallbore is recommended for stat boosts.
#5 Phyllotactic Spiral
[See Phyllotactic Spiral build]
How to Acquire: This weapon is in Nimbus’ collection. Rank up with Nimbus and complete activities on Neptune to get.
The Roll:
PvE
Keep Away and Voltshot are the main perks for the god roll. The latter is one of the best crowd control perks in the game that requires a reload, which is boosted by Keep Away. Light Mag and Smallbore are recommended for increasing reload speed and ease of use.
PvP
This weapon is in a good archetype for PvP due to its capabilities of killing a guardian in two bursts. The perks Kill Clip and Tunnel Vision help chain kills, and make landing two bursts even easier after a kill. Ricochet Rounds and Smallbore improve stability and range for ease of use of the weapon.
