Milio is the king of disengage and anti-engage. His Ultimate can protect his whole team versus engage and CC tools.
Milio also has a lot of utility tools. He has a heal, CC and shields!
His Q has good poke and CC which will come in handy when poking the enemy. This mixed with his auto-attacks can offer him a lot of damage in lane.
Unfortunately, Milio has long cooldowns, especially with his Ultimate. It’s key that he doesn’t waste his abilities or else he will be an easy target.
Positioning can be hard for Milio as he can easily get killed and locked down with CC. If he gets CC’d he cannot use his Ultimate, so it’s important he never gets CC’d.
Furthermore, Milio is quite susceptible to CC. He is quite immobile and squishy, so positioning is key.
0 - 15 min
Poke with your Q as much as you can, but focus on harassing with autos as much as you can. If you miss your Q, the enemy will just all-in you and kill you.
Your main focus in lane should be to peel and protect your ADC as much as possible. If you or they fall behind, it’s going to be harder for you to win the lane and the game.
Keep an eye on your positioning in lane. Try to adapt your positioning accordingly and play around where your ADC is stood at all times. If you’re too far back, they will struggle to farm and you’ll have no priority in lane.
15 - 25 min
Move to the mid lane and either stick with your ADC in the mid lane or hug your Mid laners hand to prevent the enemy from taking the mid lane tier 1.
Make sure you place vision around nearby lanes and objectives. If you can spot the enemy moving around the map, your team may be able to collapse on to them and get a free kill.
Avoid wandering too far away from your allies at any given time. If you get caught out, the enemy may be able to take a nearby objective like Baron, Dragon, a tower or even win a 5v4.
25+ min
As you’re a Support, avoid warding alone in the late game. If you get picked off, the enemy will be able to take nearby objectives or use their numbers advantage to win a team fight.
Consistently place vision around the map to help your team secure objectives and get picks. Having vision around the Baron and Dragon is needed to help your team to victory.
In the late game, make sure you’re with your team at all times. If you leave them, the enemy may start a fight without you being there to protect them and keep them alive.
You have strong poke in the early game with your auto-attacks and your Q. Keep harassing the enemy from the get-go.
At level 3, you’ll have access to all your basic abilities. This is one of your first major powerspikes in the early game.
Your level 6 power spike is pretty major because it can help you and your ADC stay safe in lane.
When you reach level 9, you’ll max out your first ability which is important for you in the laning phase.
At level 11 you’ll put your second point in your Ultimate. It will leave your Ultimate on a shorter cooldown and you’ll be stronger overall.
At level 13, you’ll max your next ability. As teams will be grouping at this stage of the game, you will be extremely useful with level 13 under your belt.
Putting the final skill point in your Ultimate at level 16 is a good power spike for you. Your Ultimate will be on its lowest cooldown and will be vital in helping your team win team fights.
Teams will be grouped in the late game, so you will truly shine at this stage of the game.
In the late game, you’ll have multiple items completed which is key. Your healing and survivability should be quite high in the late game.
