Ruins of Lordaeron: Step-by-Step Dungeon and Quest Guide for WoW Forever

Ruins of Lordaeron is a five-player dungeon above the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades. Aim to be at least level 15 before entering. The dungeon entrance is on the eastern side of the keep’s main courtyard, around Tirisfal Glades 71.6, 11.4. There are six Horde quests and four Alliance quests associated with a run.

Horde players: Collect these four quests first.

The Wrath of Rath’mael — Deathguard Kristof, near Brill — Tirisfal Glades 65.2, 60.2

A Frightened Request — Tabitha Heartweaver at the Sepulcher — Silverpine Forest 44.5, 43.0

Light’s Justice — Theodore Griffs in the Apothecarium — Undercity approximately 47.0, 72.6

The New Plague — Theodore Griffs in the Apothecarium — Undercity approximately 47.0, 72.6

Alliance players: Your four dungeon quests begin inside, so you can head straight to the entrance. The trip takes you into Horde territory; arrange your group before travelling.

Alliance: Speak to Captain Truman near the dungeon entrance and accept Abominable Creatures. You’ll need to kill The Baron, loot the Head of the Baron, and bring it back to Truman.

Both factions: Keep an eye out for a Crest of Lordaeron lying on the ground. It can appear at multiple spots. One reported location is inside the large open tower near Bjork. Interact with it to start your faction’s version of the quest. Horde turn it in to Oran Snakewrithe in the Undercity; Alliance turn it in to Lady Dena Kennedy in Stormwind.

Move carefully through the opening packs and loot the enemies as you go.

• Horde: Collect Intact Limbs for Light’s Justice throughout the run.
  
• Alliance: Watch for a Bloodied Insignia from a skeleton. Use the first one to start the quest, then collect 10 in total from undead enemies.

Witherfang patrols a long stretch of the first hallway, so watch for the patrol before pulling another pack. Horde players should loot the Highly Toxic Strain after the kill.

The Baron is near the bend at the end of the first hallway. He has a close-range cleave, so ranged players and the healer should give him space. The tank can stand with their back towards a wall to handle his knockback.

• Alliance: Loot his head for Abominable Creatures. Return it to Captain Truman.
  
• Horde: Loot the Abominable Head and use it to begin Unending Torment. Its first step sends you to someone in the Undercity, and the quest continues as a chain there. Check each new objective before leaving the city.

In the Lordaeron Graveyard section, look near Rath’mael before moving on.

• Horde: Find Edward Heartweaver’s body to progress A Frightened Request, then kill Rath’mael for The Wrath of Rath’mael.
  
• Alliance: Look on the ground for the Blood-Stained Letter and use it to start Remember That I Love You. After the dungeon, take it to Orphan Matron Nightingale by Stormwind Cathedral. She sends you to Avette Fellwood in Darkshire, Duskwood for the next step.

Continue clearing the dungeon with your group, including the remaining bosses and any enemies you still need for quest drops. Before leaving,

The Crest of Lordaeron has multiple possible spawn points, so search for it during the run if it was missing from the tower near Bjork.
