Kripp's Wand Combat Core Dooley Build
Overview
At the heart and center of nearly every Dooley build is its Core. Surrounding it are the Friends, Tools, and various items that piece it all together.
While this gives a general sense of direction to follow, every now and then an opportunity presents itself to create something truly magical.
Kripp once again showcases how to make the most of an unplanned fortune. If you thought Dooley’s mechanical prowess was already super fast, then just wait until you see what it can do with a Wand !

The Turbo-Charging Core
The Core of choice for this build is actually just the Combat Core, meaning whatever you choose as your starting item doesn’t actually matter.
What this allows is the flexibility to begin in one direction, then later pivot into this one. Many of Dooley’s items are universally strong, so you won’t have to reach too far to make a reliable change.
Combat Core should be positioned to the far right for this build. Damage is the top priority and thanks to a few key items, you’ll be ramping into overdrive.
Prioritize the Radiant enchant if it’s an available option to choose from at level 15/16 (guaranteed enchant, three options to choose from).
Combat Core
It’s hard to outpace Miss Isles in terms of uses per Cooldown. Multicast on a three second Cooldown will continuously feed the Core faster than most other items can, making it the prime candidate.
Its own Damage isn’t a huge deal, so even without upgrades it’s still more than serviceable even into the end game.
Miss Isles
Fiber Optics is quite possibly the most powerful enabler of the build. Position Miss Isles as the leftmost item and Combat Core as the rightmost item to create a ridiculous Charge combo.
With this, every time Miss Isles activates, Combat Core will then activate. It’s a crazy accelerant that also ensures Miss Isles stays fully armed with Ammo at all times.
If Miss Isles + Combat Core is an “8”, add Fiber Optics and it’ll immediately crank up to a “10”.
Fiber Optics
Last but not least is the unexpected namesake of this build. If it wasn’t clear enough already with Fiber Optics, Charge is an insane mechanic. Wand takes this to a whole new level.
What Fiber Optics does for Miss Isles and Combat Core, Wand will similarly do for the rest of your non Weapon items. A two second Charge is no joke. This effectively shortens the Cooldowns of your other items. It’s Dooley’s dream come true.
Wand
Unfortunately, the Wand isn’t naturally within Dooley’s item pool. This will be a rare item to come by, but there are a few ways to try and hunt it down.
The easiest way to find it is likely through the Lich PvE Encounter. However, not only is it a rare fight, it’s an extremely difficult one to win. Though if you can, the Wand is a potential drop.
Lich
A safer way to search is through Pearl’s Dig Site, though it’s also a rare find. Just make sure you’ve got a good supply of gold if you decide to go this route.
Pearl’s Dig Site
Overall, it’s not going to be an item you can reliably acquire, but with a little luck, perhaps you may just stumble upon it from sources like Lost and Found. Kripp certainly proved it’s possible!

Supportive Items and Skills
Multicast works wonders with Dooley and Soldering Gun offers 3x for only one Small item slot. After all, more casts means more Combat Core scaling.
The Burn is a bonus for this build. While Kripp did scale it up and also get a Fiery enchant, it’s by no means necessary. The Combat Core is still the primary source of Damage.
Soldering Gun
The best and most reliable single-slot Shield item. It’s excellent with Multicast and breaks your build in half the second you get a reliable Shield scaling skill.
Slow is always a nice bonus and ensures you have an activator if you find a “Freeze on Slow” skill later on.
Duct Tape
Freeze is by far the strongest disruption ability. While Beta Ray is limited to Small items, it’s still very impactful against many builds.
Its six second Cooldown is a bit slow, but it’ll be permanently Hasted thanks to the Combat Core. Wand makes it even faster!
Beta Ray
As for important skills, the ones to generally look out for are permanent Haste enablers or Shield scalers (or trigger on Shield). Here are the two standouts from Kripp’s run.
