Many builds in The Bazaar are multi-facet contraptions with a ton of moving pieces. When you do X, do Y. When Y triggers, apply Z. You get the idea.
Crazy powerful combos are what the game’s all about. We’re always trying to find creative ways to beat our opponents in the coolest fashion possible.
So how about with just one weapon?
Kripp turns
Flagship into a one weapon machine! Utilizing his superior game knowledge he created a stellar combo that will truly make his enemies bow before him!

All
Flagship builds are centered around enabling its Multicast. The maximum number you can reach is +5, but due to
Flagship’s Large size (and requiring a Property), it can sometimes be tricky to fulfill it entirely.
With that said, Kripp’s build is a prime example that you can still have a powerful ship with four Multicast. What’s more important is the synergies.
When creating a build that relies on a single weapon, there’s a few things that are very important to keep in mind.
As mentioned above, Cooldown reduction is a top priority. So much so that
Silencer is a key item despite its lack of a tag. It doesn’t even contribute any Multicast.
Being an item with no relevant tag other than its size makes it a challenging one to find and upgrade. So when given the chance to upgrade any item of choice, you may want to prioritize
Silencer over other items.
Kripp managed to apply a Deadly enchant to the
Silencer, giving it an unbelievably strong bonus. Crit Chance often comes at the cost of more board space, or through multiple skills, so adding this to
Silencer is a huge power spike.
Crow's Nest is available very early and is super easy to find. You can find it at Bronze, meaning it's more common among vendors that sell Large items.
It’s a great source of Crit Chance early on, and while it does take a lot of space, it pulls its weight thanks to its Lifesteal passive. That, and it fulfills the Property tag for Flagship’s Multicast.
The final main piece of the puzzle is the
Captain's Wheel. This was Kripp’s source of permanent Haste to help keep the boat running at all times. It's a relatively accessible item to find that grants Haste while also fulfilling the Tool tag.
If you happen to acquire enough reliable Haste via skills and/or enchants, feel free to swap the
Captain's Wheel for better utility items that each have their own applicable tag. This way you can reach the maximum +4 Multicast.

The
Catfish's most notable factor is actually the Friend tag, more so than its Poison. What's most important is that the Friend slot is not also a Weapon. If that's the case, you lose the Lifesteal from
Crow's Nest and the Cooldown reduction from
Silencer.
The actual Friend you choose doesn't really matter so long as it's not a Weapon. Although with that said,
Catfish has great synergy with
Captain's Wheel and other Haste effects, making it a solid choice among the options that are available.
Kripp happened to have a Toxic enchant on his Catfish, but this is not required.
Dive Weights is a huge buff to
Flagship builds, offering the first ever Ammo + Tool item in the game, and it only takes up a single Small slot! This allows the builds to more realistically reach the maximum Multicast, or give more breathing room for other items when still opting for four casts.
Tags alone would've justified this item, but having a fast-acting Haste enabler gives it even more utility beyond what it enables. This is an absolute premium supporting item, assuming you've enabled the Mysteries of the Deep Expansion for that run.
Skills are a huge part of what makes a one Weapon build function. While in some case you'll have built-up a reasonably high base Damage, other times you'll need a bit of help.
One of, if not the best skill for this build is
Improvised Weaponry. Since reaching high Crit Chance is a big priority,
Improvised Weaponry offers an incredibly fast and reliable form of Damage scaling.
Knife Tricks is another phenomenal pickup. Every individual cast procs the Cooldown reduction, so even if you were unable to upgrade to a higher tier
Silencer, you’ll still be able to reach an incredibly low Cooldown with just a few attacks!
Glass Cannon is a double-edged sword, but it often works heavily in your favor. Doubling your Damage makes a massive difference when you combine it all with Critical Hits and Multicast.
It's definitely worth the potential downside of benefiting the opponent. Although always choose
Big Guns instead if it's available.

Propane Tank is a Stelle item that's not commonly accessible to Vanessa. What makes it unique is its on-start Haste effect. By simply having a Vehicle (
Flagship), it will immediately trigger at the beginning of a fight. It's also a Tool.
Being the first one to act is incredibly important, especially alongside disruption skills/enchants like Slow/Freeze which can delay the opponent even more. While
Propane Tank doesn't really offer the greatest support afterwards, the initial boost more than makes up for it.
Kripp happened to find a Turbo
Propane Tank from the Street Festival (Stelle) vendor. This enchant doubles the Haste duration, making its effect even stronger. While this is definitely a great benefit, the
Propane Tank is still worth considering even without the enchantment.
Shadowed Cloak is a great supporting item to help Haste and scale the Damage of your
Flagship. Its only downside is its lack of tag, meaning you'll need other items to make up for the lost Multicast.
That said, it's not easy to find both Haste and Damage scaling in one item. Combine this with the fact that it can be found quite early (through Curio or Covetous Thief) makes it a reliable pickup to kickstart a one-Weapon build.
Frost Potion is a nice utility item that fulfills the Ammo tag for
Flagship's Multicast. Again, another item that isn't in Vanessa's pool, but it can be acquired through specialty vendors or generated from
Port.
While it only has one Ammo, it can potentially be improved with
Gunpowder and also has synergy with skills like
Flashy Reload or
Ammo Stash. However, don't bother going out of your way to acquire these. At the end of the day,
Flagship is what's important.
Flashbang is another utility item that can really hinder the opponent's game plan. As a single item that can Slow the entire enemy board, it's pretty powerful for its Small slot.
Just like the
Frost Potion, it's a solid Ammo inclusion that aids
Flagship's Multicast. It's always nice to have extra options because you won't always find whatever's best-in-slot.

Dragon Heart is a wildly powerful item if you're lucky (and strong) enough to get it from the Dragon PvE Encounter. There are many ways to put it to use, but in this particular case it takes advantage of a Fiery
Flagship.
The
Flagship's Multicast quickly Charges the
Dragon Heart so that it will continuously double its Burn, creating an insane amount of combined Damage output.
Energy Potion,
ATM, and
Honing Steel fulfill the Ammo, Property, and Tool slots, though these are all flexible depending on what's available during your run.
While it's nice that
ATM gives Vanessa a Medium-sized Property, a combination of
Crow's Nest +
Dive Weights would also get the job done.
