Overview

In The Bazaar, being the first player to act is often a big advantage. It can take time for a build to get off the ground, and even longer before it scales up to its true power.

Items with longer Cooldowns are often at a disadvantage because of this. They simply can’t keep up with faster items that proc effects multiple times a second.

But what if you could even the playing field?

Kripp flips the script by increasing enemy Cooldowns and blasting them with Cash Cannon before they even get the chance to act!

How to Capitalize On Your Cash Cannon

Cash Cannon is a powerful Weapon with the potential to output huge amounts of Damage. Its greatest advantage is its reasonably low six-second Cooldown and its Medium size.

Many of The Bazaar’s biggest hitters either come at Large size or require specific synergies on board in order to function. Cash Cannon only requires scaling.

However, like many other single-Weapon builds, a Radiant enchant can be very valuable to prevent the Cash Cannon from being locked down. Prioritizing XP can help increase your odds of finding it by reaching level 15/16 for the guaranteed enchant.

In order to pivot into a Cash Cannon build there are two key things you need to happen. First and foremost, you really want to find Cash Cannon as early as possible.

Cash Cannon deals Damage based on the amount of gold gained throughout your run. At Silver tier it’s a 1:1 ratio, but it eventually scales to double and triple the amount gained at Gold/Diamond tiers.

The sooner you acquire it, the more time you have to scale and upgrade it. Kripp managed to find it on Day Three which was excellent timing. However, it could still be worth picking up a couple days later if you happen to find it at Gold tier.

The second key component is building a strong Economy. The goal is to reach a point where you can continuously buy and sell multiple items per vendor.

Early on with limited gold you won’t be able to scale too much. However, be sure to always pick up cheap items that effectively pay for themself.

For example, Hatchet can be bought and sold for the exact same amount you paid. It may not be much, but it’s still free scaling for Cash Cannon!

Medium vendors are often a great place to look for Economy items. Cash Register and ATM are both Medium sized and are fairly easy to come by.

If you’re lucky enough to find the Economic Seminar event and have at least four gold to spare, this is an excellent way to acquire Economy items or raise your Income.

Spices is a single-slot item that can drastically increase this build’s Damage output. Since Cash Cannon is your only Weapon, Spices takes its ridiculously high Damage value and doubles it!

With this, your second shot is usually enough to finish off most opponents. It’s a great form of scaling for such a low investment of space.

Its default Ammo is only one, but this can be pushed even further with help from Ammo scaling items like Gunpowder. Forget simply doubling your damage...why not quadruple it!

The best way to ensure Cash Cannon can fire is by manipulating enemy Cooldowns to even the playing field. Generally speaking, the most common faster items are usually in the 3-4 Cooldown range. Fort puts them at 5-6 seconds, making them around the same speed as Cash Cannon.

If you purchase a Fort at Gold tier, make it your priority to upgrade it ASAP. Diamond tier is required in order to reach the two second threshold. Otherwise, it’s only an increase of one which is nowhere near as impactful.

Fort

Chronobarrier is another way to increase enemy Cooldowns. It’s especially powerful since it offers effectively the same effect but at Medium size.

The only real drawback is that it’s harder to find than Fort. There are a lot more Medium items than Large, and unlike Fort it doesn’t have the Property tag (or any tag for that matter).

(Note: At the time of writing this, Chronobarrier is currently bugged. Players who encounter it in PvP will have their item Cooldowns permanently increased. I highly suggest avoiding this item so as to not worsen the experience for other players. Best to be considerate!)

Supportive Items and Skills

Since many builds need time to scale before they can start dealing a lot of damage, Belt is an excellent supporting item.

More Max Health means more time to fire the Cash Cannon!

As a Monster Skill, Ammo Stash is a rare one, but it’s a great way to add extra uses of Spices!

Bonk is another rare Monster Skill to help completely stall the enemy board.
