General info

AP 8-4 is a level 8 board built around Malphite, Zyra and Soraka. Malphite absorbs pressure while the backline deals damage, with Blackthorn, Summoner and Flora Fatalis supporting the setup. Your first upgraded AP carry can hold the damage items, then Kennen and other expensive units cap out this board later on.

When to make

- Econ augment that gives you more gold for your level 8 rolldown - AP/Gargoyle components for your damage dealers and Malphite - Executioner Emblem on Zyra makes this comp S-tier

Early Game Plan

- Play around a strong AP opener - Level up to 4 on stage 2-1 and look to winstreak if you have upgraded units and items to make - Focus on building Damage Items or a Gargoyle Stoneplate

Mid Game Plan

- Level up to 6 on stage 3-2 - Continue to play strongest board - If you find any of your 4-costs and they can fit your current board, look to play them and get them itemised

Additional comp tips

- Solo Frontline Malphite as he's a Monolith, he gains more resistances for each enemy targeting him - Put Fiddlesticks on the Blackthorn Hex - Leftover AP items can go onto Kennen - If you have AD Items you can play Ezreal over Kennen - Cap out this board by playing Alune, Lux or an Ivern if you find him early
