Arcanist is a burst damage class that gets heavily impacted by rng. Arcanists are great at catching people, zoning/map control and peeling - and with the right cards, they are great at bursting people down.

Your identity allows you to hold up to two cards, and use them for different effect - this is the rng aspect, but also what sets Arcanists apart. Learning how to use all your cards is extremely important. is your ultimate skill, it inflicts paralysis and explodes at the end, pushing the targets inside. This ultimate can be very effective for any circumstance, for example, peeling for allies, catching people, CC immunity, etc.
