Commentary

S Tier

Pathfinder -------------------------------------------------------------

Good for several archetypes: Grenades, Poison Bows, Galvanic Shards and Shockburst Rounds. Pathfinder also has a great path to strong item combinations such as Shavronne's Satchel to restore ES along with life.

Ngamahu's Chosen / Fireflower
The Adorned Tree gives massive Movement Speed
The Last Lament is easily solved with Flasks

Amazon -------------------------------------------------------------

The Amazon enables Crit on several builds and has two very strong defensive nodes in the game:Stalking Panther gives larger Evasion pool, and the new Soul Tether and Mystic Harvest helps maintain 100% Energy Shield uptime, with low opportunity cost on league start.

A Tier

Deadeye -------------------------------------------------------------

The removal of Wind Ward really hurt The Deadeye's ability to run max juiced maps early, but the +1 Projectiles Notable is still very versatile for a many builds, and is potentially good for Wyvern.

Crossbows are S-tier and Deadeye will still be one of the best Ascendancies for them.
The Rhoa Mount nerf hurts early game mapping until you get more Spirit from items.

If the new Mirage Deadeye is very good, it will still be an S-tier Ascendancy (Fubgun Cope)

Lich -------------------------------------------------------------

The additional Jewel Socket provides generic power that is good for any build and the ability to bypass Life is a strong generic defense. Unholy Might is good for minions and the Ascendency is overall strong for a lot of many things including Essence Drain Contagion, which is still one of the best starting Skill combinations.

Titan -------------------------------------------------------------

Hulking Form is a top-tier Ascendancy Node and the Titan is overall a generically good Class. The new Bear form might also be great for Titan.

Shield Wall remains one of the strongest Skills in the game and is great in the Warrior area of the Tree. Big AoE is always good. The Skill Tree is also buffed near the Warrior area, making your builds more versatile.

Blood Mage -------------------------------------------------------------

Good Crit-scaling, ability to change base Crit makes it a versatile Spell caster. Blood Mage has strong defensive nodes combined with good damage nodes that makes it well-rounded for a variety of different league starters.

Tactician -------------------------------------------------------------

A Solid Plan Reservation Notable remains one of the strongest in the game, and the Tree is solid overall.
Elemental Conflux received buffs, Trinity is really good with you have 2 different elements with Lightning damage due to its wide damage range.

War Banner provides huge amounts of damage to you and Wolves if they are tagged with Companions.

Witchhunter -------------------------------------------------------------

The Witchhunter provides generically good damage early on and is one of the best classes for the campaign.

Sorcery Ward is now a top-tier defense after gearing and Grenades remain S-tier for damage, which makes this Ascendancy very good overall.

B Tier

Warbringer -------------------------------------------------------------

Shield Wall currently carries most Warrior Ascendancies at the moment, but Warbringer has more defensive options than Titan. However, Titan is just worse for the majority of builds in the game.

Shaman -------------------------------------------------------------

Adaptation looks very good for self-hit builds, and the Shaman will have easy Rage generation for builds that use it. Shaman will likely have good damage for hybrid casters, but the Rage cost will be too much for pure casters. The Spirit node has too heavy a downside as Charms are required in the game. Uncertain due to lack of knowledge.

Infernalist -------------------------------------------------------------

Remains one of the fastest leveling builds in the game. Demon Form has an excellent dash and plenty of damage early. It might get huge benefits from new Druid nodes on the top left side of the Tree due to Demon Form being a Shapeshift skill.

Invoker -------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of Ascendency nodes are very gear-dependent. It has plenty of endgame options, but the start is mediocre. The only saving grace at league start is that Gathering Storm is absolutely nuts with Toxic Growth and can pretty much carry you to do whichever build you want to play.

C Tier

Smith of Kitava -------------------------------------------------------------

One of the tankiest starts, but after a while the tankiness is just not that useful in SC. This class is basically outclassed by Titan and Warbringer on most fronts except the few builds that Smith enables.

Stormweaver -------------------------------------------------------------

Double Shock mainly useful for Party play. Could potentially be good if GGG adds a good Limit Skill in 0.4. Would be higher if it had more accessibility to movement options.

D Tier

Ritualist -------------------------------------------------------------

Rings nodes isn't great for the start as it requires gear. Becomes top-tier late game with good gear, but not good for League Start. Monster mods are too much RP for fubgun.

F Tier

Acolyte of Chayula -------------------------------------------------------------

Worse for Poison compared to Pathfinder, and requires walking around and picking stuff up which isn't fun. Darkness is just straight up worse than Spirit.

Oracle -------------------------------------------------------------

The only potential for Oracles is that it's actually worse than what you expect. This is the worst Ascendancy I've ever seen (-Ruetoo)

Could potentially be good if they rework the whole Ascendancy and all nodes we've seen.

Dont @ me Rue wrote this fub and lance disagree cuz they want to play it safe and not call it bad.

Gemling Legionnaire -------------------------------------------------------------

F-tier. There is almost nothing good about this thing at league start. Every build you can play on this, you can play on something else and it will be better.

Chronomancer -------------------------------------------------------------

Pressing extra buttons to kill bosses when you can just kill them with more damage isn't exactly the best way to play the game.

Extra Notes
