Build Summary

For those who like spraying fire and a general pyromania game play. It's meant to be fun and easy to play, and not feel like work. No rotations to pay attention to, or needing to manually apply vulnerable repeatedly etc

Hold down Incinerate, use Flame Shield and Inferno the moment they are ready, and zip around with Teleports. Your Flame Shield/Immunity is almost always up/on so you don't have to actively worry about your survival while playing, regardless of how high or low your HP is. You can even get away with zero armor and low resists until Pit T70-80 or so.

Enchantments

One of the main themes of this build is to be a FIRE Mage, so I try to lean toward that as much as I can.

Note: While Frost Nova is on the bar, it is not actively used. Only when/if the Wolves bug out and stop spawning you can use it as a backup (changing zones/portal will fix the spawning). Yen's blessing will choose from abilities on CD, so you want Flame Shield to be your only ability (non-mobility/ultimate) that is ever on cool-down.

Note 2: If the inconsistency of the Spirit Wolves is too annoying because of the no-spawn bug, use Neo+Thul (2s No Damage + Frost Nova) and Igni+Zec (Store Offering + Ultimate CDR). Take the 2 points from Primordial Barding (plus 1 from Mages Firewall) and put 3 into the Frost Nova path (this will also give a 15% Damage Buff).

Build Notes

Gameplay Loop
  1. Firewall on enemies.
  2. Teleport into enemies.
  3. Inferno (will pull-in enemies) > Incinerate channel.
  • Rahier's 90% Damage Reduction bubble will trigger with Inferno (30s CD), or on casting Incinerate (~20s CD wish Assistance aspect).
  1. Flame Shield when Rahier's bubble wears off or is about to wear off (it lasts about 5s). If the Merc CD isn't ready, just FS right away.
  • Teleport again periodically for more Damage Resistance, and restart channel or cast Inferno when ready to trigger Rahier's bubble.
