Diablo 4 Players Report Deadly Bug Linked to a Unique Ring

Players have been reporting that the Wendigo Brand Unique Ring is potentially bugged. After a slew of unexplained deaths, some players have come to the conclusion that it is being caused by this ring. The reports of this bug have been seen on the Blizzard forums, and also on some Reddit posts.

Players are reporting that once the ring hits 50 stacks, their life gets taken in large chunks, until all the stacks are depleted. This is especially dangerous for Hardcore players since they will permanently lose their character if this happens to them.

On the Blizzard forums, Community Manager Marcoose has responded to one of the forums thanking players for their reports and stating that the team is looking into this. There has been no confirmation on a patch at this time.

In the meantime, it is probably best for players to avoid using this ring to avoid unnecessary deaths, especially if you are playing on Hardcore.
