The three main ways to farm Obducite are running Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, and Kurast Undercity Tributes.
Each method has their own unique pros and cons that this article breaks down.

Nightmare Dungeons are a staple part of Obducite farming, offering players the highest Obducite per hour as a solo player at the lowest investment.
EDIT: Undocumented changes to Obducite drop rates has made this no longer the case.
And, depending on what Nightmare Dungeon affixes you get, you can get some very relevant things along the way.
Nightmare Dungeons also will provide Distilled Fear upon completion of a Nightmare Dungeon.
The downside to Nightmare Dungeons is their relatively low drop rate of Greater Affix loot, making it unlikely that gear upgrades drop while farming.

Infernal Hordes offers very competitive Obducite farming rates as the other methods, but what it excels at is the extra Greater Affix you can get from the large chest at the end of an Infernal Horde.
This makes Infernal Hordes making this the most efficient way to farm Obucite if you are also after gear upgrades.

The Kurast Undercity are unique in that they are the best method for farming Obucite for both full group play and solo play thanks to the Obducite drop rate changes in Season 11
The downside is that while these are incredible for group play, they are behind every other method for solo play. So definitely grab some friends for these.
There is also one last upside to running Tributes, and that is the Lesser Evil Andariel lurks inside of the Undercity in Season 11.
