Announcement

Blizzard has announced in their Partners Program that a patch is planned for sometime next week to address many of the players concerns revolving around Season 14.

While they did not list what changes they're making, they did however say they are closely monitoring player feedback to help improve this current season. While this patch will not fix all the current issues with the season, players can expect meaningful changes coming with this next patch.

What This Could Mean

Crafting Limits

One of the main complaints players have had this season revolves around the mythic limitations and crafting RNG. Currently, crafting Uniques feels both unrewarding as your character is limited to 1 crafted Mythic, and getting the right Mythic you want is too heavily RNG dependent. If Blizzard is looking to fix the major pain points of the season, the crafting system getting a major fix is a prime candidate for changes.

Superior Lair Keys

The drop rate for Superior Lair Keys has been a major concern, as with the limitations to crafting, the main way to farm Mythic Uniques becomes an inaccessible grind to most players. Potentially increasing the drop rate of these Superior Lair Keys would not only make the limitations to crafting feel less impactful by giving players easier access to the Mythics they would otherwise want to craft, but it would also dramatically reduce the grind needed to attain these items.

Deathtoll Chambers

Despite being the pinnacle Seasonal content, Deathtoll Chambers has been lacking in any meaningful rewards which has made the entire Seasonal Mechanic feel flat and not rewarding to engage with outside the initial leveling process. Increasing the rewards attainted would help keep the Seasonal content feeling relevant through all parts of the game.
