Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildS5 Best Sorc Build Lightning Spear S+ Tier
Lightning Spear is by far Sorcerers best build in Season 5, with extremely high damage output allowing you to annihilate T8 infernal hordes faster than any other build in the game, while still being able to nuke tormented bosses with no issue. With the rework to Fractured Winterglass we can easily get up to 20+ Lightning Spears out at a time, which each do millions upon millions of damage per hit with Splintering Aspect. Keep in mind Lightning Spear itself does no damage, all the damage comes from our aspect and scaling it with Crit Damage. Check out the video guide for a detailed explanation for how the build works!
This build requires some gear to perform well, use Blizzard until you have all the gear recommended in the starter section, video posted on my channel.
1) Get as much CDR as humanly possible 2) Aim for 85% crit chance, or 79% if using precision 2 elixir 3) Scale your crit damage as much as you can

Tibault's Will is optional if you prefer to do slightly more damage but lose defense.
Starless Skies is decent early on, but gets outshined by the CDR on Tal Rasha's
All of our damage comes from the Splintering Aspect so using a 1h+focus is simply too much of a dps loss to consider, despite the added CDR
