Incinerate is a very strong burn build for those who like to take it slow and dislike spam builds. Incinerate has access to very strong skill specific aspects and burn builds in general have solid multipliers.
Picture yourself in an Infernal Horde. Standing in the dead center in a 4 man. Everyone is running around like chickens, and you just sit there spinning in a circle hosing everything down. Moisturized. Unbothered. Flourishing.

Enchantments
Enhanced Firewall enchant to grant a 25% damage multiplier
Glinting Fire Bolt enchant to grant another 25% damage multiplier
Note:
Glinting Fire Bolt is on the skill bar as a bar space filler for
Elemental Synergies, and for use on Single Target bosses because the
Fire Bolt enchant only works when there are multiple enemies
Aspect & Uniques

The
Orsivane mace is so strong that we give up our usual
Aspect of Overheating 2H Staff for it and move that aspect over to a focus.
You will want a Lucky Hit chance to apply Vulnerable either on your Focus. If you can't get one then on your
Aspect of Engulfing Flames ring is fine.
If you need larger barriers drop the Orange Topaz in your Armor for Purple Amethyst's which grant 12% Barrier Generation each

Mercenary
Subo is important for maphacks and for his molotovs that increase damage over time (burn damage) by 25%
Raheir gives you a damage reduction bubble when things get sticky
How it Plays
Only for
Orsivane Variants
Incinerate is your main damage. You sit still and channel it on enemies. Just hose em' down.
Inferno is used to group enemies. It provides a pull with
Prime Inferno and 50% damage with
Supreme Inferno.
Aspect of the Orange Herald and
Zec help lower it's cooldown.
Invoked Familiar is for 10% damage and a barrier
Summoned Ice Blades is to help reduce cooldowns and for a barrier
Lightning Spear is for applying vulnerable and stunning with
Invoked Lightning Spear
Glinting Fire Bolt is on the skill bar as a bar space filler for
Elemental Synergies, and for use on Single Target bosses because the
Fire Bolt enchant only works when there are multiple enemies. You cast
Fire Bolt and
Inferno on a Boss then hose with
Incinerate.- You can move around with
Teleport enchant evades that you get for free from
Orsivane - You can also press potion to get an
Ice Armor enchant barrier while channeling to stay in the fight, also thanks to
Orsivane - Enemies will naturally get frozen and vulnerable thanks to
Frost Nova enchant and
Mystical Frost Nova... also thanks to
Orsivane
How it Works
General Overview
Incinerate is a channeled Pyromancy (Fire) Core Skill that deals damage over time in the form of burning damage. It has some very good aspects at it's disposal that help ramp up the damage, notably
Flamethrower's Aspect,
Aspect of Conflagration,
Aspect of Overheating, and
Aspect of Engulfing Flames. When casting you are rooted in place and it takes 2 seconds to ramp up to full damage.
Damage over time cannot critically strike and
Incinerate does not benefit from attack speed. It is sort of nice that you don't have to worry about attack speed or critical strike chance.
Burning builds take a little while to get enemies cooking as the damage takes a few seconds to stack up and cooks. Luckily this is offset by some hefty innate multipliers from the
Combustion key passive and paragon glyphs and legendary nodes.
Incinerate is a little clunky, but it's mainly for the connoisseur. Classy MF's who like to sit in the center of an Infernal Horde and day dream while spinning.
The new shiny unique mace Orsivane
This season introduces the
Orsivane mace which has become best in slot on about every build. For every defensive skill not on your skill bar you get 40% damage. This build is missing all 4 so it gets 160%. In addition you get the enchantment effects from each of the missing defensives. Of particular importance is
Mystical Frost Nova which applies vulnerable, freezes for
Hoarfrost, and grants 15% damage on top to boot.
Free Enchantments from Orsivane
•
Frost Nova enchant that procs off any Lucky hit for
Mystical Frost Nova
•
Ice Armor enchant casts the skill every time you press your potion and gives the bonuses from
Shimmering Ice Armor. This is very helpful for
Incinerate because if you break the channel you lose damage and have to ramp back up. Being able to potion while casting and receive an
Ice Armor barrier is a valuable tool, especially after the
Protection nerfs. Ty for that one Devs.
•
Teleport enchant gives you a
Teleport evade every 3.5 seconds (cannot be reduced farther in any manner) that allows you to move while still counting as standing still for
Soulfire. We run +3 evade charge boots to let us use it a bunch when we need it.
•
Flame Shield enchant gives you some immunity frames when you take too much damage, which then goes on a 30 second cooldown.
These Free Enchantments do NOT grant additional damage from the Enchantment Master legendary. Sorry folks.
Masterworking
- Masterworking an item adds 2-5 Quality per upgrade, up to a max of +25 quality
- Each quality point increases all affix values by 1%, so +25 quality = a 25% bump to all affixes
- Fully Masterworking an item to +25 quality now gives a 50% upgrade to a random affix or temper
- Masterworking will cost anywhere from 200-500 ish obducite to get to +25 quality
Tempering
- Tempering is done at the blacksmith and you manually add a single extra affix to an item from a list of temper manuals you obtain by killing monsters, completing activities, opening chests, or collecting whisper caches
- Temper manuals have different classifications; offensive, weapon, defensive, resource, utility, and mobility and different item slots can only apply certain temper classifications. Ex. Weapons can only have Weapon tempers or Offensive tempers
- The temper manuals themselves have a quality range from magic to rare to legendary, but it's not too difficult to acquire the max legendary manuals
- Each temper manual has 3-4 affix choices, but you get to choose the exact one you want (ex. Chance for
Incinerate to deal double damage) - The temper affixes have a value range of say 25-30% Chance for
Incinerate to deal double damage for a legendary manual. The magic and rare manuals will have a lower value - When you temper it will randomly apply a value within the given range, and if you don't like the value you can re-temper the item to try and get a higher roll
- If you apply a magic temper manual, when you get a rare or legendary manual you can re-apply the higher quality manual for a higher value
- If you change your mind about a temper you can re-temper to a different affix from any available to that item, even if it's a different classification, such as swapping your Amulet from Offensive: Cold Damage, to Resource: Unstable Currents Cooldown Reduction
- Tempering has a chance to apply as a greater affix which sets the value to the max in the range, then bumps that max value by 50%
- An item gets 6 chances to temper, which is increased by 1 for each greater affix on the item. Additionally once you are out of chances, you can reset the chances back to max one time using a Scroll of Restoration acquired from a variety of sources, with the most consistent being opening the Item Chest in Infernal Hordes
Seasonal Sanctification
Process: Sanctification is a process where after your item if fully complete, you can slam it into a slot machine that transforms the item by adding something random to it.
Finality: Once you sanctify, the item cannot be changed. You cannot imprint a new aspect, add additional sockets, re-temper, etc. The only thing you CAN do is change out the gems or runes.
But remember, if you forgot to add the gem/rune sockets to the item, you are screwed.
Example Outcomes:
• Adds 5-25 Quality Ranks (5%-25% bump to all affixes (Most frequent)
• Replaces an affix with a curated list of affixes (Legendary Items only)
• Adds an extra affix such as Cold Damage[x] or Intelligence[%]
• Adds a random Legendary Aspect from the list of available aspects the item can have such as adding
Aspect of Shredding Blades to
Orsivane (Low chance to occur)
