Incinerate is Core Skill that applies burning damage over time when channeled. It cannot critically strike, it takes 2 seconds to ramp up to full damage and you cannot move while casting.
Somehow, someway, incinerate received enough buffs to actually be an insanely strong meta contender. Who would have thought? Not me. No way Jose. But here we are. Enjoy. And No, Flamescar is not good.

• You can sub Frost Nova for Invoked Familiar if you want for 10% damage • We do not NEED Frost Nova on the bar, we have a rune for it • Without Nova, keeping full stacks of Tal Rasha can be a bit tight with just teleport and ice armor • In addition Familiar is notoriously annoying to hard cast for whatever reason, it fails to cast half the time you press it if performing other actions
• Godslayer because why build a helmet with good stats, when you can just equip Godslayer • Soulbrand because you can potion while standing still and casting to re-apply barrier • Flickerstep's to help us reset our ultimate when evading
• When you want another frost nova just spam cast incinerate 5 times and get a free nova from the Thul rune

Build Notes
Cast Inferno on enemies and Frost Nova if needed
Use Ice armor for a barrier and begin channeling Incinerate
Teleport as needed for movement, and Flame Shield as needed to survive or stay in the fight
When Inferno ends, flickerstep evade through enemies as needed to get your Inferno back. You can spam cast incinerate to procs attacks reduce evade for more evades.
On the endgame setup, we drop Flickerstep's for Orange Herald boots as we can get our inferno cooldown low enough we don't need flickers.
Try to snapshot your Incinerate channel when your Witching hour gem goes off for 40% more damage. This occurs every second, so really shouldn't even need to think about it much.
How it works Incinerate is a channeled Pyromancy (Fire) Core Skill that deals damage over time in the form of burning damage. It has some very good aspects at it's disposal that help ramp up the damage, notably Flamethrower, Conflagration, and Overheating. When casting you are rooted in place and it takes 2 seconds to ramp up to full damage.
Damage over time cannot critically strike. Incinerate does not benefit whatsoever from attack speed, unlike other channeled skill that Barb and Druid use. It is sort of nice that you don't have to worry about attack speed or critical strike chance.
Burning damage on Sorcerer has some solid passives and legendary nodes at its disposal. Most notably are the Combustion Key Passive and the Burning Instinct Legendary Node. You only need 1350 intelligence to max out the Burning Instinct Legendary node at 90%[x], which is very easy to do.
