Build Summary

Fireball meteor was fun, but I think pure fireball edges it out as you can pump more damage by just hard casting fireball and not splitting yourself between the two. This build functions without any Ubers, but boss damage will lack until you acquire at least genesis/shako and Evernight. Starless Skies is the cherry on top!

Check out the showcase video to see some Uber footage gameplay (No Starless), as well as some zero Uber gameplay of T100 NM Dungeons and Lillith!

Variants coming soon stay tuned. I'll wrangle all the different ways to play it in one link!

Build Notes

Gameplay Loop
  1. Evade Teleport combo to up crit chance and get a 40% damage buff from Tibaults
  2. Spam Fireball
  3. Cast Ice armor when your barrier is about to go down
  4. Use Flame shield 4 seconds after Teleporting to keep uptime of the damage from Tibault's
  5. Frost Nova and Inferno as needed
How It Works

Gloves of the Illuminator allow Fireball to perform a double bounce on the ground creating 3 separate damage zones. It is possible to hit a single enemy with all 3 damage blasts if they are large enough (such as Duriel) as there is a zone where the 3 can overlap.

Harlequin Crest, Evernight, and Genesis pump up the damage and solve the boss damage issue seen with the build at base. Starless skies helps solve any mana issues, but isn't required for the build to function. Lucky hit Restore on your gloves and the unstoppable from teleport and Flame shield with Tibault's are enough to keep your mana topped off. The cherry on top is the mana free casts of fireball you get during Inferno.

I opt to not run Staff of Endless Rage, as I see the benefits of doing so to not outweigh the loss of cooldown reduction on the focus. We can get better overall damage out of having permanent uptime of Tibault's 40% damage during and after being unstoppable. In addition I would be hard pressed to lose both Ancient Flame and a damage aspect such as conceited or storm swell.

Esu's Ferocity and Ancient Flame round out the build, giving us 50% attack speed with high uptime. In addition, the Three Curses Aspect on the amulet gives us a whopping 1.60[x] critical strike damage with Fireball. Combine this with the Searing Heat Legendary Node, Frigid Fate Legendary Node, 6 ranks in Devouring Blaze, and the plethora of Multiplicative Damage Glyphs available to fire builds such as FlameFeeder and Pyromaniac, you will see Fireball Damage in the Millions.

The Raiment Chest isn't needed in the build, as we don't really benefit from clumping enemies. This is because of Gloves of the Illuminator having an optimal cast range that is outside of melee range. You would end up having to Raiment Clump then evade away. Put Raiment on for Helltides though.

If you have all the Uber's mentioned, mainly Starless skies, you could look into dropping Tibault's for Disobedience pants and Raiment. The reason being is your mana might be good enough with Starless, to not require the mana regen from Tibault's. I would not know, I am currently at 5 shrine staffs and 4 Seligs awaiting the Uber Unique Trader on Feb 13th.
