Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildEternal Blizzard - X'Fal's

I do not recommend leveling with blizzard. This is due to needing a glacial aspect for the build to function and they are hard to come by and level dependent. Duriel is the best source acquire a max roll 925 glacial.

Blizzard is a build you swap to once you acquire all the pieces and have a Best in slot amulet with a max rolled Glacial on it. Check out the plethora of leveling guides we have on the site to use in the meantime!

Glyphs

Control - + Damage to crowd controlled targets (chilled/Frozen) and 1.1x damage to crowd controlled targets and 1.2x damage to frozen targets

Stalagmite - Ice spike Damage and 10% ice spike crit chance

Elementalist - 1.1 to 1.15x damage on enemies + Bumps Non-Phys and Resist Rare Nodes

Exploit - + damage to vulnerable targets and 1.02x damage for 6 seconds for hitting a vulnerable enemy stacking up to 1.1x

Flamefeeder - + Dmg to burning and 1.1x multi to burning targets (Control can be taken here if bosses are not an issue)

Destruction - + Crit damage and 1.12x multi

Enchanter - Buffs our non-phys damage, acts as a Pseudo multiplicative glyph by buffing frigid fate legendary node by 8.58%. 5% max resist added to cold and fire resists.

Legendary Nodes

Icefall Frost skill deals 15% more damage to vulnerable enemies. 30% if frozen. This works with ice spikes.

Frigid Fate 30% more damage to vulnerable enemies. Works with all skills, ice spikes, and X'fals procs.

Tal Rasha must be slotted. The damage bonus cannot be replaced.

Xfal has higher damage potential than blue rose.

Blue rose is reccomended over Xfal if you are having mana problems.

Firebolt Enchantment is taken to bolster our damage through the Devouring Blaze passive and apply a burn to utilize Damage Reduction from Burning Enemies.

-Firebolt also has a small LHC chance on tick, and can proc our X'fals Ring.

Frozen Orb enchant - freezes enemies faster and applies burn

-Firebolt requires direct damage from skills to apply a burn. We use Chain lightning enchantment and Teleport to apply burn. Blizzard and ice spikes will NOT proc firebolt enchantment

-Ice spikes are direct damage for the Flamefeeder glyph. They are also counted as a Frost skill for the icefall node. However for whatever reason, they are not counted as direct damage from skills for the firebolt enchantment.

Harlequin Crest can be slotted if you have it. You drop Raiment for a DR chest with armor %

Xfal or Blue rose are interchangeable.

You wand can be vulnerable or damage to burning.

Lhc barrier on helmet can be max mana.

3 ranks in fiery surge can go elsewhere if your mana is fine without it. Nova ranks are always good.

If you want more healing you can take away 2 points in fiery surge and 2 in teleport and 3 points in warmth.

Raiment isn't needed. Blizzard is a large AoE skill and chlling/freezing provides crowd control for damage buffs and multipliers. All you are doing is making yourself glassier.
