Build Summary

We employ Chain Lightning for devastating effects, enhancing its capabilities with Aspects and Unstable Currents. The build is also quite versatile, allowing for a potential swap of Lightning Spear for Ice Armour with a defensive amulet. Enchantments are switchable based on circumstances, accommodating shifts like exchanging Fire Bolt for Frost Bolt to stagger bosses.

Build Notes

Gameplay Loop
  1. We’ll be spamming Chain Lightning and Lightning Spear when we can, applying Frost Nova when needed for Vulnerability.
  2. We have two defensives at our disposal, Flame Shield and Teleport, Teleport comes with a DR buff, so use it often.
  3. Use Unstable Currents if you run Into Elites/Bosses for the ability to cast a lot of spells for a decent burst.
How It Works

We have some flexibility with this build, and we can change out our Lightning Spear for Ice Armour if we have a +Defensives amulet if we need the durability as Lightning Spear will still be cast while Currents is up, but this shouldn't be too necessary.

Our goal overall is to get enough Mana Regeneration so we can constantly spam out Chain Lightning.

Enchantments can be switched out depending on what we’re doing- or what we need if our CC potential vs bosses isn’t high. For example, we can briefly swap out Fire Bolt for Frost Bolt. That is why I keep both of the basic abilities levelled. You can just put two points in Fire Bolt for an increase in Burn, but the damage difference isn't anything significant.

This is a build focused on a level 50-80+ character; for a more levelling focused build, see here.
