Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildBlizzard - X'Fal Ancient Flame

Blizzard is a build you swap to once you acquire most of the pieces and have a Best in slot amulet with a max rolled 925 Glacial Aspect on it. Find a leveling guide online and brute force through it, then farm NM dungeons in WT3/WT4 where enemies are at least 10 levels above you (Your level -44 is the minimum sigil you want to run) So at Level 90 you want to run T46 and above.

Codex prodigy and umbral on legendary rings to help with mana

Snowguards Helmet

• Total Armor • Max Life • Cooldown Reduction • Life on Kill, Intelligence, or Max Mana

**Disobedience Chest

• Total Armor • Damage Reduction • Damage Reduction to Close • Damage Reduction to Distant

Starless is better than X'fal's, so definitely use that when you get it

Tempest

• Resource • Arcing/Safegaurd • Breaking

Flash of Adrenaline

• Genesis/Initiative • Tactical • Duration

Frozen Orb Enchantment

• Greater frozen orb taken for vulnerable uptime, destructive can be taken for better mana • Frozen orb applies firebolt enchantment

Firebolt Enchant

• Provides burning for Devouring Blaze, DR Burning, and X'fal procs

Blizzard always runs two unique rings and uses Tibault's as the generator

1) Tal Rasha is always slotted

• 1.45x Damage, it's basically an uber • 1.6x with Andariel's Helmet

2) Starless Skies Uber Unique

• Best in Slot • 40% Damage • 40% Mana Cost Reduction

Until you get Starless, you have 2 options as what to pair with Tal Rasha

A) Blue Rose

• Recommended for Ice Shard Enchant Variants • Ice Shard Enchant procs the Ice Spike a lot • Mana Cost roll greatly eases gameplay

B) X'Fal's Corroded Signet

• Recommended for Firebolt Enchant Variant • Firebolt Enchant ticks can proc X'Fal • X'Fal has higher damage potential than Blue Rose • Try X'Fal when your mana regen gets on point

Armor Requirements for Different Content

Sorcerer has 6000 Base Armor with Max IP Gear, 3 Skulls in Jewelry, 300 strength, and 200 from Paragon

Conveniently Armor Requirements accurately equate to a point system 29.2% Armor Roll = 1 point 900 Armor Potion = 1 point 66% Disobedience = 2 points 99% Disobedience = 3 points

T100 NM Dungeon =13,440 Armor = L154 Enemies 4 Points Needed to Cap Armor

Gauntlet = 11,200 Armor = T70 NM Dungeon = L124 Enemies 3 Points Needed to Cap Armor

Overworld = 9,350 Armor = L100 Enemies 2 Points Needed to Cap Armor (Not really necessary though)

Resistances This build has 70% all resist through Intelligence and Paragon alone

1) First Choices: Icy Touch or Devouring Blaze 2) Second Choices: Hoarfrost or Permafrost

Icy Touch has good uptime with the amount of vulnerable on the build. These amulets are also cheaper to buy through trade. Everyone wants devouring blaze

Devouring Blaze has the highest damage potential, but can be hard to find

Hoarfrost is a top option for killing mobs. But it is useless against bosses until the stagger phase

Permafrost is strong against Elites and Bosses, but offers no benefit for regular non-elite mobs

All are FINE. Find a good amulet with one of these and you will be OK

Stalagmite • [+] Ice Spike Damage • [+] 10% Crit Chance with Ice Spikes

Destruction • [+] Critical Strike Damage • Up to 1.12[x] per target damage, 2% each time you critically strike them

Enchanter • [+] Non Physical Damage for Cold Damage (buffs Frigid Fate too) • Increases resist cap of Fire and Cold to 75%

Control • [+] Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies • 1.1[x] damage to chilled targets, 1.2[x] damage to stunned or frozen targets

Legendary Nodes

Icefall Frost skill deals 15% more damage to vulnerable enemies. 30% if frozen. This works with ice spikes.

Frigid Fate 30% more damage to vulnerable enemies. Works with all skills, ice spikes from glacial and blue rose, and X'fals procs.

Esus Ferocity is bugged and gives all damage increase critical strike damage and chance

Ancient Flame will still give you the attack speed even if this is bug fixed
