Heartseeker used to be a true powerhouse in Season 4 using the Victimize Key Passive to generate AoE damage. In S5 that Key Passive is now bugged and not doing the damage it should be doing. For that reason, we now use Close Quarter Combat and utilize Paingorger's Gauntlets to try to mitigate the AoE damage loss. Overall we are left with a build that is much stronger on single target but weaker on AoE.
It is important to note that you are going to need to use Beastfall Boots to avoid running out of energy. The reason why this works is that with Cold Clip Aspect, Beastfall considers all your Basic Skills to be casting Cold Imbuement, a cooldown. You therefore gain 25 energy (increased by all your Resource Generation) on every cast.
The Ultimate Cooldown Reduction Tempering Affix used on your amulet and ring comes from Necromancers. Helltide Blood Maiden and Nightmare Dungeons are the best way to acquire the manual.
