When using the Banished Lord's Talisman version you're gonna have to throttle your DPS a bit, as using a BLT Death Trap while a BLT Supreme Death Trap is going off will turn off the Overpower on your new Death Trap. This is why the No-BLT version is more comfy.
This build works by getting the right combination of Cooldown Reduction, Ranks of Death Trap and Energy expenditure.
Scoundrel's Leather was changed in Season 7 to now make your Trap Skills also Core Skills. This makes Death Trap a Core Skill and an Ultimate at the same. Not only is this convenient because it lets us get many more Ranks of Death Trap, but it also means Beastfall Boots works to boost Death Trap (This is bugged). Also, very importantly, it allows Banished Lord's Talisman to be used.
The way we spam Death Trap is by lowering our Death Trap's Cooldown to 10 seconds or less, which in combination with Preparation, Beastfall Boots and 150+ Maximum Energy, leads to Death Trap functionally having no Cooldown. Also, by spending 275+ Energy every two Death Trap rotations we also get the benefit of Banished Lord's Talisman on every other Death Trap.
Remember that Death Trap will use the weapon you last used, by using Heartseeker after Twisting Blades you get an effective damage bonus because your Crossbow has much more damage than your Sword/Dagger.
