Diablo 4 Necromancer Build(Bugged) Kripp's S5 Shademist Summoner (NEW)
Season 5 brings us a new and seemingly overpowered aspect for our minions, the Shademist Aspect. This aspect could not be tested on the PTR as it was reworked afterwards, so there is some risk that this exact setup may have some issues, but minion Necro overall should be in a great spot in Season 5 as a fallback.
Shademist deals 25% weapon damage as a shadow aura around EACH minion. When used on a 2 handed weapon, this is doubled to 50%. The build runs 12 permanent minions, and 6 temporary ones from bone prison (yes, each piece of the bone prison counts as a minion). This amounts to a completely absurd amount of passive damage and most importantly, persists through minions being crowd controlled by enemy monsters.
Shademist is very bugged, do not make a build with it until it is fixed. You can play a traditional summoner in the meantime if you wish.
- it snapshots fully on minion summon forever
- it does not scale with minion modifiers (despite saying the minion does the damage)
- it is proccing 100% lucky hit
- the tooltip was not updated from the PTR
Build Notes
Walk with your army of minions and watch enemies die to their Shadow auras from Shademist Aspect. Keep up the Skeletal Priest buff, as it will heal both your minions, as well as your own character through the Blood Getter's Aspect.
Aspect of the Great Feast will drain your resource to zero, but do not worry, none of your skills cost anything!
Keep enemies cursed, and use Corpse Tendrils and/or Bone Prison against tougher enemies.
Godslayer Crown can be replaced by a legendary with the Hardened Bones aspect. The Crown is likely best as the Shademist seems to snapshot its damage for its 5 second duration, so the 3 second damage window of the Crown's damage buff is essentially extended to 8 seconds for Shademist.
