Diablo 4 Necromancer BuildMinion Bone Spear - Season 5
Bone Spear is an explosive ranged build that controls the battlefield while dealing massive damage due to high Critical Strike and Max Essence damage scaling. With Season 4 we are able to make use of a new Skeletal Mage rune that causes them to cast free Bone Spears every 6th attack, giving us significantly higher damage and faster clear times. Its an easy build to learn, but has a depth that makes it fun to master.

One of the primary sources of damage from this build is coming from the Skeletal Mage rune where they will cast Bone Spear every 6th attack. The Spear that they cast scales fully with all of your modifiers and proc Deathless Visage, as if you had cast the Spear yourself. This leads to massive damage and very fast clear times.
Every single spear cast directly from us and from our Bone Mages will proc Deathless Visage, leading to insane amounts of damage. And with the Ring of Starless Skies as well as Essence Per Second rolls on gear we should be close to being able to play with no resource generating aspect.
With the new buffs to Deathless Visage letting us double cast Bone Spear it frees up the temper slot on the weapon to run Mages Attack Twice for even more Bone Spears and Deathless Visage

Build Notes
- Cast Decrepify to Slow and Weaken your enemies
- Make sure to keep up your Minions and give them the Skeletal Priest buff for the healing
- Use Corpse Tendrils as much as possible
- Spam Bone Spear making sure to keep your Essence above 70%

Bone Spear damage scales extremely well thanks to a few big multipliers:
- Max Essence Damage: The core feature of any Bone build is the ability to increase damage output based on Max Essence. This is largely from the Key Passive: Ossified Essence.
- Critical Strike Proficiency: This build has access to massive Critical Strike Chance and Critical Strike Damage. You can easily get to 100% Crit Chance, and you can also huge Critical Strike Damage from Paragon, Gear, and Aspects.
- This heavy investment into Crit Damage is extremely important as Deathless Visage has multiplicative scaling with Crit Damage and its going to be the main driving force behind this builds damage.
- Vulnerability Debuff: Because of the Splintering Aspect it is very easy for this build to get 100% uptime on Vulnerable on all enemies, which is a massive damage multiplier.
And with our minions also be casting Bone Spear it massively increasing our damage. The minions are also great because they are able to do damage passively, meaning even while we're moving Bone Spears are still being cast. The Spears cast from your minions behave exactly the same as Spears you cast yourself, meaning they do full damage and proc on hit effects such as Deathless Visage.
