Bone Storm gives damage reduction and further defense through the synergy with Aspect of Shielding Storm which is vital to a Necromancer’s ability to stay alive. It also gives 20% Crit Hit Chance to a build that scales entirely off Crit… so that’s kind of important. Therefore keeping it active as long as possible drastically increases defense and dps potential.

To solve this we run Lidless Wall. The way lidless wall works is that you don’t need the primary bone storm around you to be active in order to proc more bone storms, as long as there is a lidless proc’d Bone Storm active even if it’s in Zimbabwe , you can still proc another Bone Storm to theoretically keep it permanently active as long as you are able to hit something else within 10 seconds.

If that doesn’t work, we are running Abhorrent Decrepify to lower the cooldown of our skills. With the absurd Lucky Hit Chance of Bone Spear, this is easy to bring off cooldown.

Essence Management is important for the fact that bone spears damage scales directly with the Ossified Essence Key Passive. With the new: 1. Ring of Starless Skies 2. Resource Support from the Construct 3. Essence Cost Reduction in Gear 4. Grim Harvest passive which synergizes directly with Black River and Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul to detonate 5 corpses at a time per second to give 30 essence back per second 5. Resource on lucky hit in Lidless Wall

Essence management is quite literally a non-issue

Flesh Eater is a flat 40%[x] multiplier to all of our damage, this includes Bone Spear and Corpse Explosion.

The thing about Flesh Eater is that it cannot stack while it is active, so you can only start stacking when Flesh Eater becomes inactive. With a standard bone spear build, you can only stack one corpse explosion per second utilizing the Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul, which means it takes 5 second to come back online. Which in turn means, it can only be active for 6 out of 11 seconds, or a 55% uptime, which is… not good.

With Black River, you can detonate 5 corpses per second, which means as soon as Flesh Eater falls off, it immediately comes back online which is an incredibly powerful increase to our dps potential.

Aspect of Grasping Veins in the amulet gives us 30%[+] Critical Hit Chance and a whopping 60%[x] multiplier to our critical strike damage. It is absolutely vital to keep this active 100% of the time to push us past the 90% critical strike chance breakpoint and have massive critical strike damage.

A max rolled Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul will automatically cast corpse tendrils for us every 8 seconds which gives us a 75% uptime on grasping veins passively. But even better, with all the points into skills this build has being: 1. Harlequin Crest = +4 ranks to all Skills 2. Black River = +4 ranks to Corpse Skills 3. Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul = +3 ranks to Corpse Skills 4. Amulet = +3 ranks to Corpse Skills 5. Evernight Turning Stone = +4 ranks to all Skills

We can achieve 19 points into Corpse Tendrils with only 1 point allocated into it within our skill tree, which brings the cooldown to 5.97 seconds. Therefore, we can theoretically have 100% Aspect of Grasping Veins uptime.

With Lucky hit chance in our Gloves and both rings, the Lucky Hit Chance of Bone Spear now becomes 69.5%. On a lucky hit there is then a 24% chance that it will spawn a corpse. If we take 69.5% and multiply it by 24%, then we get a 16.68% chance to spawn a corpse. What this means is that if we on average are able to hit about 10 enemies twice per second, then we can spawn give or take 2-4 corpses per second depending on rng. Problem is, we need 5 corpses to fully utilize Black River, and 2-4 corpses ain’t cutting it, so how do we get there?

Well… there’s a rather interesting part to Bone Spear’s damage profile, and that is the shards. Not only does the main spear have a 69.5% chance, but so does each of the shards. And this means that Bone Spear has 6 chances within one cast to spawn a corpse at a 16.68% chance rate.

One of the rules of Lucky Hit Chance is such:

Each ability cast can have a maximum of one Lucky Hit Chance event procing per cast per target. ^ THIS IS VITALLY IMPORTANT FOR ANY LUCKY HIT CHANCE BASED BUILD

If all the shards just so happen to proc a lucky hit chance event, you WILL NOT spawn 6 corpses under that one target. You will only spawn one.

In a practical sense during the dungeon, you will most likely get the main spear and 2 shards to hit each target because of how spread out the mobs are.

Let’s take our 10 enemies example again. If each enemy gets hit by 3 instances of bone spear being the main spear and 2 shards, this means we have a 36.57% chance per enemy hit to spawn a corpse. Therefore, with 10 enemies hit twice per second we can spawn 6-10 corpses per second which satisfies the 5 needed for Black River to wreak havoc with these nuclear Corpse Explosions.

This is not accounting for any additional corpses spawned by your Bone Storms dealing damage 2x a second with a 55.6% LHC value nor is it accounting for any corpses formed by mobs dying to your optimally empowered Bone Spears or nuclear corpse explosions.

The concept of this endgame build can still be utilized as soon as you obtain Howl from Below unique gloves and I want to provide you with a staircase build order as you progress in putting this beast together.

1. Helm - Total Armor, Maximum Essence, Barrier Generation, and Cooldown Reduction with Aspect of Disobedience
2. Gloves - Howl from Below
3. Pants - +Ranks to Corpse Explosion, Max Life, Total Armor, Intelligence with Juggernaut's Aspect
4. Main Hand (Wand)- Intelligence, All Stat, Critical Strike Damage, and Critical Strike Damage with Bone Skills with the Aspect of Serration
5. Rings - Critical Strike Chance, Maximum Essence, Resource Generation, and Barrier Generation. Ring 1 - Accelerating Aspect Ring 2 - Sacrificial Aspect
6. Offhand (Focus) - Critical Strike Chance, Essence Cost Reduction, Resource Generation, and Cooldown Reduction with Splintering Aspect

• Skill Swaps:

1. Blood Mist > Bone Splinters
2. Decrepify > Enhanced Iron Maiden

• Sacrifices: Remain the same

• Paragon: Refer to Here for Paragon Leveling

• Construct:

1. Governing Stone - Tempest | Turning Stones - Breaking Support, Swift Support, Resource Support
2. Governing Stone - AutoDefense | Turning Stones - Duration Support, Tactical support, Gripping Support

Once you have obtained Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul and Lidless Wall

• Gear Swaps:

1. Main Hand (Wand) - Same as Step 1 but with Splintering Aspect
2. Ring 2 with Sacrificial Aspect is replaced by Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul
3. Off-Hand is Replaced by Lidless Wall

• Skill Swaps: Same as Step 1
• Sacrifices: Same as Step 1
• Paragon: Refer to Here for Paragon Leveling
• Construct: Swap AutoDefense Governing Stone with Flash of Adrenaline

Once you have obtained Black River and Tibault’s Will

• Gear Swaps:

1. Howl from Below is replaced with Legendary Gloves running Critical Strike Chance, Ranks to Bone Spear, Attack Speed, and Lucky Hit Chance with Splintering Aspect
2. Pants are Replaced with Tibault’s Will
3. Main Hand is Replaced with Black River

Skill Swaps: 1. Bone Splinter > Blood Mist 2. Enhanced Iron Maiden > Abhorrent Decrepify

• Paragon: Refer to Here for Paragon Leveling

1. Unless you now level 100 in which case, refer to main board on build planner.

• Construct: Remains the same as Step 2

This combo allows you to dip into all of your multipliers to create Corpse Explosions that at end game power, will hit for 9-12 million damage at half the size of the screen.

• Once you enter room with elites:

1. Cast Decrepify on Targets
2. Cast 2 Bone Spears
3. Cast Corpse Tendrils
4. Cast Blood Mist
5. Wait for Corpse Tendrils Pull
6. Exit Blood Mist by Re-casting it
7. Cast Corpse Explosion
8. Profit

Ring of Starless Skies does not require you to cast a core skill now, it only requires that you spend essence. Decrepify Cost Essence and is cheap to cast so we will abuse this.

• Boss Rotation:

1. Cast Decrepify 3-4x RIGHT before you engage boss
2. Bone Spear until Corpse Tendrils auto-cast from Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul
3. Cast Bone Storm
4. Cast Blood Mist
5. Immediately Re-Cast Blood Mist
6. Launch Bone Spear till dead
