Build Notes

Gameplay Loop

These preperation steps take a few seconds and are only done at the beginning of the dungeon or as needed. Watch my Ultimate Cataclysm v2.0 video for a detailed breakdown and advanced setup.

Optional pre-setup for more damage: Kill enemies to stack Force of Will witch power to 40 before following the next steps.

Cast Hurricane to activate Stormshifter's Aspect this will fill the Igni rune most of the way depending on how long you wait to cast Hurricane.
Pull enemies together.

Nearby enemies add stacks to Soul Harvest with power (Up to 64 enemies) when you cast your first cooldown near enemies in a zone.
*Optionally: Use Bac or Feo runes to fill up Qax rune for more damage.

Cast Bulwark followed instantly by Cataclysm.

Bulwark gives Cataclysm the Resonance bonus.

Re-cast Cataclysm as soon as it's off cooldown to prevent losing buffs.

Casting Cataclysm during the final second of Cataclysm's duration will cause you to lose buffs, so cast as early as possible.

Use Debilitating Roar to reduce enemy damage and increase damage output.
Use Earthen Bulwark to break free from CC or as a small barrier.

How It Works

This build is all about buffing Cataclysm and Lightning Bolts for substantial damage!

Cataclysm is able to take on benefits of buffs that are active when it is cast for the entire duration of the ultimate.
Cataclysm also receives all benefits from Lightning Bolt modifiers.
Cataclysm can be re-cast during its duration to maintain buffs into all additional casts.
Cataclysm can take on Werewolf buffs due to Tempest Roar.
The goal is to Overpower Cataclysm and buff it substantially, then run through enemies as they die!
