Diablo 4 Barbarian BuildThe Mightiest Throw
Brand new expansion and a brand new build! Might Throw is coming in hot and tearing up the new content with ease! Blasting high-level pits and Uber bosses to smithereens.
Mighty Throw will have you ready to farm the new Torment 4 difficulty in no time whatsoever! making use of some new tech and new uniques, this build offers a fresh playstyle for the Barbarian.
I will personally be using this as my main build, it's fun, it's fast, and haaawt daaawg it's strong!
This Variation is for mid to late game and only uses around 180 paragon points. If you're still using this version of the build but have a higher paragon, check the "Uber" version for the full paragon board.
In this setup we're leaning into Wrath of the Berserker and Unstoppable Uptime to make the most out of the Ugly Bastard & Tibualts Will.
I have not included greater affixes in my recommendations here as this is a non-ancestral loadout, however, if you happen to hit one having it on the same affix as I recommend for master working is what you'll want.

Build Notes
Rotation for this build is very simple:
- Steel Grasp is your source of Berserking too don't forget this!
- Spam Rallying Cry You want this skill on cooldown at all times so that Yen's Blessing can do their Job!
- Alternate Between Bash & Mighty Throw this is how you'll generate all those juicy Overpowers!
- Hota after a Bash to guarantee an OP and get that juicy 40% damage. (don't bother with bosses though, dps loss)
- Use Ultimate on cooldown.
This build is centered around The Third Blade which turns our weapon mastery skills, in this case Mighty Throw into a core skill. This means at the slight cost of some damage we're now able to spam Might Throw assuming we have the Fury to do so, non-stop! Our Weapon Mastery skills also receive the Core Skill tag, giving us the ability to further augment the damage with affixes such as Ranks to Core Skills.
Mighty Throw makes use of a number of interesting interactions:
Bash
We're using bash to accomplish a couple of things, firstly it generates fury which helps feed our Mighty Throw, secondly by using Combat Bash (4 critical strikes = next core skill Overpowers) in conjunction with the temper Bash Now Cleaves we're now able to more or less guarantee an overpower every time we Mighty Throw in an AoE context.
Doing this also allows us to tap into two of the new passives, Warpath & Belligerent both powerful damage multipliers that can be maintained 100% of the time using this tech, so as I like to often say "easy money".
Yen's Blessing & Shouts
We're finally seeing a shift in the three shout meta with this new setup with Yen's Blessing the way this unique works is that every 8 seconds it will cast any non-Ultimate/mobility skill that is on cooldown. By setting our build up the way we have this guarantee that it will always cast Rallying Cry providing you keep it on cooldown.
Then by combining this effect with Booming Voice which increases the duration of a shout to 7.4 seconds, we're able to maintain a near 100% uptime on our chosen shout and all the associated benefits with it.
This means a near permeant state of Unstoppable increased resource regen & allows us to tap into downstream benefits such as Tibualts Will providing further resource bumps, 20x damage and a healthy amount of damage reduction. All of this and the affixes on the boots themselves are also incredibly useful.
Ugly Bastard & Perma-Berserking
This last point is simple enough, the new unique Ugly Bastard converts all direct damage (anything besides a bleed) to fire and then increases that damage by 80x, this is a HUGE damage boost for almost all Barbarian builds so you'll be seeing this a lot in our build guides. To guarantee good uptime on Berserking and by extension this boost to our DPS we will be using Anger Management, which so long as we are above 40-55 Fury will keep us in a constant state of Berserk.
