Diablo 4 Barbarian BuildThe ULTIMATE Spin2Win
Very simple build with essentially no skill curve. Lots of fun. Lots of animations all over the screen to make the game look alive. And most importantly EXTREMELY BUSTED as far as Barbarian builds go :)
Full DPS no-bleed, no Iron Skin WW build focusing on reaching 100% crit strike chance and massive amounts of max fury to boost damage through Ramaladni sword
Classic triple shout setup as shouts are simply the best skills for Barbarian. For Ramaladni the weapons assigned to WW is dual-wield.
I limited each item to 2x GA (priority) and put no GAs on mythic items as those are hard to get, but generally you want to have GA on affixes that you are masterworking :)
We are no longer masterworking Crit Strike Damage as pure STR has much higher value! Especially since we are also playing %STR on amulet to reach over 3000 STR for maximum skill damage. TLDR STR is multiplier while CSD is only an additive and STR also rolls higher.
We need no gems in Jewelry as Tyrael itself caps our resistances.
strengths
- Massive AoE
- Easiest build to play
- One shots Tormented Bosses
- Extremely tanky with Iron Skin
weaknesses
- Bleed builds require INSANELY BiS gear to scale (Bleed)
- Your friends will envy you
Build Notes
- Start with Call of the Ancients to get the bonus damage and start the Cooldown in case of Rumble version or Wrath of the Berserk in case of Min - Max uber endgame build.
- Use all your Shouts to get the buffs AND lower the cooldown of previously used CotA or WotB, which should have 100% uptime
- Spam the sh*t out of Whirlwind :D by pressing it fast. NEVER keep WW button held down
- Use Iron Skin whenever you can to get the barrier and instantly get its Cooldown back through our Marshal glyph CDR
- Rinse and repeat
This build is focused around several mythic items, but the drop rate was buffed to heaven and so I think it is reasonable to use them :)
The buffs to Harlequin were extremely huge and they go so well with our build thanks to the massive CDR. Harlequin also gives us armor now, so we can easily reach the cap there. Talking about caps, Tyrael Might also got buffed and now will solohandedly take care of our resistance cap. And lastly we have Starless Skies which now gives MASSIVE critical strike chance, further helping us reach the desired 100% crit chance.
Arreat's Bearing also got buffed and will now ensure 100% uptime on 25%(x) multiplier AND they also deal some crazy damage themselves which works with berserk ripping.
Tibault's Will are still the best choice for the maximum DPS with super optimised setup for CDR
Dust Devils from WW are considered skills and so we are buffing THE HELL, pun intended, out of them through strenght, Ramaladni and in case of playing it, Fists of Fate. And now that Twister glyph is fixed, they got even better and give us 13%(x) multiplier for our bleeds!
Based on the variant we are playing, with the massive CDR from items like Harlequin, Rakanoth's Wake, CDR amulet and War Cry CDR tempers as well as bold chieftain, we have permanent uptime on all abilities which we are playing like a piano to give us MASSIVE DPS boost as well as berserking. That allows us to drop aspects like relentless.
We are not playing devilish in the UBER ENDGAME version for 400m+ DD damage as the limit to dust devils is 15. When we have double cast on our shouts, we will generate 16 DD every cca. 3 seconds with our shouts plus of course our main source of damage are Whirlwind Dust Devils. Devilish in comparison deals nearly no damage and thus playing Conceited and/or Elements is way more DPS. We can play both if we play without Fists of Fate which makes your life much easier due to the bug that makes your Ramaladni not work properly with them.
If speedrunning Pits 101 is your goal, I suggest replacing counteroffensive affix on the amulet with another movement speed and, if picked, Rakanoth's Wake with normal boots and Ghostwalker as WW slows us quite a bit and we want to be as fast as possible. In Pits 101, the enemies are also much weaker than T8 hordes and so we remove points from Iron Skin and put them into Swiftness and, in case of the bleed variant, we use our free Rupture through Harlequin Crest instead to kill the bosses ASAP.
