Diablo 4 Barbarian BuildBig Boom Hota V2
Barbarian is back and we're eating good this season! This build is centered around the new unique Mantle of Mountain's Fury. Its unique effect turns our Hammer of the Ancients into a directional AoE (shoots in a line), then explodes any Earthquakes it passes through for unethical damage.
Safe the say as far as Season 7 is concerned this is THE build for Barbarians!

Important stat break points to bear in mind:
- Earthquake size and duration are capped at 100%
- Armour is capped at 85%
- Elemental resistance capped at 75%
- Movement speed is capped at 200% (including the boost from Berserking and rallying cry)
- Damage while berserking needs to be at 450% to get the most from the Blood Rage paragon node.
- Force of Nature will need 500% Damage to close to cap out for the maximum damage

Going into more detail on what makes this build run:
The core of the build is Mantle of Mountain's Fury primarily for the side of this unique that detonates Earthquakes, what makes this so powerful is the insane amount of damage we can juice into an EQ, even without this unique there was a very strong case for an EQ build being the strongest this season. Adding the ability to scale the damage further and making it one HUGE direct hit sealed the deal.
Some examples of why EQ damage is so high:
- Bul Kathos & EQ aspects x60% damage
- Incendiary Fissures x60% damage
- Force of Nature x200% damage
and more, we'll be using every single one of these to achieve some obscene damage!
Adding to this already powerful setup are the new seasonal mechanics which we'll cover in detail below, the short version is we're getting even more notable boosts to our damage and relegating some of our defense to seasonal powers, freeing up our gear and paragon to go buck wild on offense.
