A top DPS option of special ammo weapons, Cloudstrike creates a lightning strike on an enemy kill or from rapid precision hits. The latter paired with the catalyst, which grants Triple Tap, makes Cloudstrike a DPS monster. In PvP Cloudstrike is able to kill multiple targets with just one shot due to the lightning strike from a precision kill dealing enough damage to kill nearby guardians. This makes Cloudstrike a good PvP option for game modes in which enemies will stick close to one another such as Control or Trials of Osiris. The downside of Cloudstrike in PvP is its lesser handling and scope in speed, making it a tad clunky in comparison to top PvP snipers.
