Xenophage is a very slow firing, very high damage machine gun with a limited ammo pool. For single target damage this weapon deals good damage and is extremely easy to use. Its DPS is not best in class, but due to the weapon having the same damage for precision hits and body shots, there is no need to be precise, making dealing optimal damage for this weapon is easy to achieve. The weapon is best served for mid health targets as it can take most out in 2 or 3 shots which is ammo efficient. In PvP the weapon is not worth using as it requires 2 shots to kill an opposing guardian.
