Gain a second charge of your Shield Throw melee. Your Shield Throws now weaken targets, create a Void Breach on final blows, and become shield-piercing, stunning [Shield-Piercing] Barrier Champions and refunding a Shield Throw charge when you do. Picking up a Void Breach grants you Shield Throw energy.

Build Details

How It Works

Use a voltshot weapon to add clear, this will cause facet of awakening to give arc pickups. Arc pickups grant energy to all abilities. I use Tarnished Mettle because it can roll demolitionist and voltshot. [No, throwing a grenade to automatically reload does not activate voltshot. You have to manually reload after a kill.]

For higher priority targets soften them up with a shield throw first, then fire off three rounds of a trench barrel shotgun. Shield throw weakens [15% debuff] thanks to Second Chance, and powered melees also make you radiant [25% empowering buff] with facet of dawn. Imperial Decree works nicely as it can roll with both pugilist and trench barrel. Later on when Perfect Paradox returns its origin trait [melee hits partially reload the weapon] will pair beautifully.

Bosses can be taken care of by landing rapid precision hits to sever them. Once severed, facet of courage kicks in giving a 10% damage bonus to light aligned abilities. Hit the boss with a shield throw to apply a 15% weaken to the boss and radiant to yourself, then quickly follow up with twilight arsenal. To follow up after the super is cast, I find success with an envious assassin / bait and switch Edge Transit, but if you want to use a different heavy the choice is yours. The exotic slot is open for you to use whatever. [Sever > Shield Throw > Super > Heavy Weapon]

All champions can be tackled with your abilities making artifacts supplemental and not required.

Unstoppables can be countered with diamond lance and consecration. (Drengr's Lash can be used to swap out with consecration if so desired. Swap out thruster to use rally barricade.)

Overloads can be countered with pulse grenades, and voltshot.

Barriers can be countered with one of the two shield throws and facet of dawn applying radiant to your weapons.

The workhorse here is Tarnished Mettle as it has multiple things operating in tandem to give you back ability energy. Demolitionist for grenade regeneration, the arc pickups granting ability energy to all, and orb generation which gives primarily melee energy but also tops everything off a little bit.

Health regeneration on prismatic titan is an issue and the only real way to do that in this build is with recuperation, so don't rush out to get orbs when being pelted. Play your life.

Three heavy handed's are fun as any melee kill with an overshield gives an orb of power. That said if you want to swap one out for firepower to get orbs on grenade kill that wont break the build.

I use a stat spread of 30 Mobility, 100 Resilience, 70 Recovery, 70 Discipline, 30 Intellect, and 70 Strength. I have not run into any issues. If anything needs to give recovery can be dropped to 60. You shouldn't run with less than 30 Intellect as it slows your super generation.

Gameplay Loop

Add clear with Tarnished Mettle/ a voltshot weapon.

Soften big targets with a shield throw then finish them off with a trench barrel shotgun. Targets will be weakened, you'll be radiant, barrels will be trenched, good times will be had.

For bosses, make sure facet of courage is active by getting precision hits to sever the boss. Once severed use your melee to weaken then quickly follow up Twilight Arsenal. After your super is done you could use the axes and either swing nine times and throw with the last charge. Alternatively you can just use your heavy of choice after the super.

Champions: use your standard melee for barriers, your alternate melee for unstoppables (or class ability if using drengr's instead), and your grenade for overloads.

Transcendence can be activated by light kills, which this build is primarily comprised of, and diamond lances/ kinetic shotgun kills. Not really the focal point of the build, but it's there.
