Build Details
Use Choir of One while aimed down sight to clear out minor enemies. Destabilizing rounds helps keep up ammo efficiency. If not enough special bricks are available, pick up three orbs and finish a big boy for some.
Barrier champions can be pierced through volatile rounds or becoming radiant. Get a kill with a grenade or hit the champion with your charged melee and unload the hip fire shots.
Tinasha's is used more of as a utility weapon. Not meant for clearing adds, but for applying slow so facet of courage can activate. Once an enemy has slow you can use your grenade or super to finish them off.
Overload and Unstoppable champions both have a weakness to chill clip. Once the champion is stunned unload the hip fire shots from Choir. Through the pulse grenade boosted by facet of dominance or barricade you can stun either overload or unstoppable respectively.
Why edge transit and not VS chill inhibitor? Personal preference. I find envious assassin's ability to hold 21 rounds better than having to constantly swap and fire shots from everything. Plus if you wanted to run surge mods you'd get more mileage from matching Choir then Tinasha's.
There are higher DPS builds out there, but I find surviving after the damage phase to be more important than topping the leaderboards. That's why Mask of the Quiet One is the centerpiece here. After it's rework which grants devour after multikills, MotQO shines on Prismatic for survivability. Not only are you getting your grenade back faster, you're also getting a sizable chunk of the health bar back with every kill. Add in facet of purpose with better already and now you're getting an overshield and health regeneration with a single orb. There are so many orbs generated that it's common to be with a full overshield even in a room full of adds.
Facet of protection is useful as damage reduction is always welcome.
Diamond lance is technically a flex aspect. Unbreakable works also. I swap between the two without any degradation in the build.
I build armor for 30 mobility 100 resilience 70 recovery 70 discipline 30 intellect and 70 strength. If something has to give recovery can drop to 60.
- Use Choir of One to activate devour.
- Slay out and fill both transcendence bars until something comes along that needs prioritization. 2.A. If champion, then stun and destroy. 2.A.1. Barrier - radiant from melee hit or volatile rounds from a grenade kill. 2.A.2. Overload - Slow from tinasha's or jolt from pulse grenades. 2.A.3. Unstoppable - Freeze from tinasha's or suspend from drengr's lash. 2.B. if boss, apply slow use super (Twilight Arsenal). Pop transcendence, hit one round of tinasha's, hip fire Choir of One until spent, dump 21 rounds of bait and switch boosted edge transit. Reload as needed and keep firing as long as you can with either choir or edge.
- Recoup ammo with finishers.
- Regen transcendence and super. Repeat 1-4 until activity ends.
