Destiny 2 Hunter BuildFrostbite Hunter

Frostbite Hunter is a Prismatic build focused on both Solar and Stasis with high DPS in mind. The goal is to output as much DPS as possible while being useful with ad clear. Focusing on using Still Hunt to obtain a Transcendence, Cayde's Retribution, and a full Golden Gun shot to chain DPS on a boss. All while utilizing the void Aspect Stylish Executioner to go invisible. Your abilities will be your primary source of procing Stylish Executioner rather than your weapons. The Celestial Nighthawk is a key piece in this build making both your Golden Gun and Still Hunt even more effective. The Solar Aspect Gunpowder Gamble will give you an additional way do AOE ad clear or apply a large burst of Solar damage to a Mini Boss or Boss.

Lets take a look at your Fragments. Face of Grace is a major aspect for this build. Defeating combatants with your Kinetic weapon will help fill your Transcendence bar pretty quickly so you can be Transcendent as much as possible. It is ideal going into DPS with this bar full. Face of Ruin will increase the size and damage of a shattered Stasis crystal. If you do manage to defeat combatants with your Golden gun you and your nearby allies will get bonus Transcendence energy. The Facet of Purpose will apply you with Restoration after picking up Orbs of Power. The Face of Dawn will make you Radiant on power melee hits and power melee final blows will make you and your allies all Radiant. When you freeze a combatant with the Facet of Command your equipped weapons will reload and increase weapon stability, aim assists and airborne effectiveness. Defeating a frozen combatant creates a Stasis Shard.

For your melee option go with Withering Blade. This ranged melee ability can hold two full charges and can quickly be thrown. Defeating combatants with the Withering Blade you will proc invisibility from the Stylish Executioner aspect. Use Gamblers Dodge to generate a new Withering Blade.

For your grenade option use the Duskfield Grenade to slow and freeze combatants. Defeating any combatant frozen by the Duskfield Grenade will proc Invisibility.
