Strengths and Weaknesses

strengths

  • Possibility for ability spam
  • Threadlings you spawn stack Spindle on Euphony
  • Near constant Volatile/Unravel Rounds

weaknesses

  • No threadling grenade
  • If you can't get the ability regen right, the build does kind of die off
  • Not great against champs if all other ads are gone

How It Works

When I read up on Euphony, I started fiddling with the idea of going back to my Swarmer Strandlock if I got it to drop due to the Spindle perk stacking on threadling damage. Here's my idea and first ever build entirely on my own.

Super:

  • Casting Needlestorm creates a swarm of embedded threadlings (add stacks to spindle)

Class ability:

  • Class ability really doesn't matter, just up to personal preference

Melee:

  • Arcane needle debuffs targets with strand (light transcendence from Devotion)
  • Melee kills generate Unravel rounds for strand weapons (Euphony, Pro Memoria) thanks to Facet of Bravery

Grenade:

  • Would've liked to use threadling grenade here, but since they don't count as grenade kills, we go with Vortex/Storm (again, personal preference) for kills to proc Volatile (again, Bravery).

Aspects:

  • Weaver's Call lets you spawn threadlings on class ability cast, which, thanks to Facet of Hope, we should be regenning quite often.
  • Feed the Void lets us regen those class abilities by having a near constant state of Devour active, proccing Hope since it's a void buff, and proccing Sacrifice for dark transcendence.

Facets:

  • Bravery gives Volatile/Unravel rounds on melee/grenade kills for your void and strand weapons
  • Devotion grants light transcendence energy from Strand debuffed targets
  • Sacrifice gives dark transcendence on ability final blows while our Devour is active
  • The rest of the fragments, once again, is up to personal preference and how you want to play with the build
  • Personally, I will be using Balance and Hope for the speed boost to regen on all three abilities. Balance regens melee faster on Light damage (void/arc) and grenade on dark (strand). Hope regens class ability while having an elemental buff (Devour).
  • If you feel you're taking too much damage, Purpose could give you Woven Mail on orb pickups.
  • If you're good at consistently hitting crits, Solitude will grant you a severing blast if that interests you.

Weapons:

  • Euphony is a good weapon in and of itself but combining its intrinsic of spawning threadlings where you stand with the near constant generation of threadling from tangles and class ability will stack Spindle in a hurry.
  • Really, any void weapon you feel comfortable using would work with this build. The crafted god roll on AOB of Repulsor/Destabilizing rounds makes targets Volatile so you can still get that bonus even without getting grenade kills for Facet of Bravery.
  • The roll on Pro Memoria I like for this build is Reconstruction/Desperate Measures. Reconstruct does it's best to eliminate the long LMG reload times, and Desperate Measures stacks a damage boost based on Weapon, Grenade, and Melee final blows.

Armor:

  • Swarmers spawns more threadlings every time you destroy a tangle, using Euphony or Pro Memoria to do it would also proc the threaded blast artifact perk.

Armor Mods:

  • Armor mods are my weak spot when it comes to build crafting. Chest is the only one I'm super confident with so I just put what I felt would be the best for the build but please play with it yourself and tweak how you see fit to improve it.

Stats:

  • The classic Warlock Resil/Recov focus, but I felt since we were generating all our abilities so quickly thanks to our facets, Intellect seemed like an intriguing choice for the third stat focus to be able to cast Needlestorm and create even more threadlings more often.

Artifact Perks: I tried to make this build as non-reliant on the Artifact as possible so that it could be usable in the next Episode and beyond, but for the moment there are a couple perks that can improve the build

  • Elemental Siphon will create tangles when getting rapid final blows with Euphony or Pro Memoria, allowing you to pop them for a Threaded Blast (see below) and more threadlings.
  • Threaded Blast grants a large, damaging explosion when a tangle is destroyed by a strand weapon.
  • Shieldcrush, depending on what facets you're playing with, could proc the melee recharge/damage buff on Woven Mail (Purpose) or Void Overshield from the Age-Old Bond Repulsor Brace perk. It will proc the grenade regen/damage buff off Radiant thanks to Radiant Orbs (see below).
  • Radiant Orbs will grant you Radiant on orb pickup since were running a Prismatic subclass.
  • Transference is just a good artifact perk to have in general on a Prismatic subclass, since it buffs melee and grenade damage while transcendent, and weapon final blows will refund light and dark energy to increase the amount of times we can transcend.
Gameplay Loop

1: Class ability for threadlings 2: Needlestorm for threadlings 3: Destroy tangles for threadlings 4: Melee/Grenande for Volatile/Unravel Rounds 5: Rinse and Repeat ad nauseam
