Destiny 2 Titan BuildBanner Titan Will Never Die

Even when the seasonal artifact doesn't have any perks to boost the strand subclass, banner of war titan still puts in a solid effort. It may not provide the versatility or max dps that you can get from prismatic, but there's something so satisfying about banner of war titan that keeps pulling me back.

If you've played banner of war titan before you know the loop is simple: 1. Melee a red bar to proc banner of war. 2. Keep killing enemies to keep banner of war up. 3. Use grapple grenade to close the distance when enemies are across the map. 4. Use your super when appropriate.

I found this build's combination of weapons and perks to be the most enjoyable when playing strand titan:

• Fang of Ir Yut is a solid strand scout, but what makes it even better is using it after you get a melee kill - proccing cursed thrall where final kills explode for a short duration (great add clear). -Everyone has different feelings about Ergo Sum but I chose it for my exotic since it takes up the special slot instead of the heavy. It provides for some decent add clear with the right perk combinations, and every melee kill counts towards banner of war. -Finally I chose Pro Memoria for the heavy since you can craft it with reconstruction and target lock - it just never seems to run out of bullets and its damage climbs the longer you fire down on an enemy.

Not to mention with Transmutation and Rebirth fragments equipped your primary and heavy kills are going to be spawning tangles and threadlings left and right. Throw those tangles to take advantage of the Fury fragment to keep your melee ability recharged.

The build may not be meta currently, but its just so dang fun.
