How It Works

For TFS, Episode 1:

OK, I know there are other Swarmer prismatic builds out there but I have honed this in to its best form I believe. Atleast in my opinion.

This is a swarm of threadlings build that is also weapon dependent. It is prismatic and not strand to take advantage of devour and prismatic mini-super! The Call is a very good weapon on this and when combined with Graviton Lance things get crazy. You want to use The Call as much as possible though, so armor mods are build into keeping it in ammo. I went with reserves and scavenger mods instead of special finisher. I feel like it is more consistent.

Swarmers are better with this then any version of "Spirit of the Swarm" because it makes ALL of your Threadlings cause unravel. They got the wrong part of that spirit unfortunetly!

Super:

  • Needlestorm fits the build the best and it is a one off.

Abilities:

  • Phoenix Dive has shortest cool down to make as many threadlings with Weaver's Call as possible.
  • Arcane Needle is very powerful and causes unravel. Use this to proc your devour and create a tangle that can explode and create two threadlings.
  • Threadling Grenade makes sense right!

Aspects:

  • Feed The Void gives us Devour. Devour keeps you alive and generates grenade energy.
  • Weaver's Call creates Threadlings when using Phoenix Dive

Fragments:

  • FACET OF DEVOTION: Everything is unraveled here and this helps build up prismatic.
  • FACET OF HOPE: Feeds your Phoenix Dive= MORE THREADLINGS
  • FACET OF BALANCE: Passively feeds your grenades and melee= MORE THREADLINGS
  • FACET OF BRAVERY: This gives your The Call unraveling rounds and your Graviton Lance volatile rounds. This can be switched for FACET OF AWAKENING to maximize Tangles/Threadlings, however, with artifact perk Elemtal Siphon I believe the weapon buffs outwiegh tangle generation.
  • FACET OF PROTECTION: Just like Feed The Void, every warlock build needs this!
  • FINAL NOTE: If you ever want to or need to switch to FACT OF AWAKENING you may also switch out FACET OF DEVOTION instead of FACET OF BRAVERY, as Graviton Lance will go a long way to balancing your light side prismatic energy anyhow.

Exotic and Weapons:

  • SWARMERS: Make tangles create Threadlings and gives all Threadlings unraveling to targets!
  • THE CALL: Crafted with enhanced Demo and Hatchling
  • GRAVITON LANCE: even in its current state, is great with volatile rounds.
  • Heavy: I highly recommend a strand machine gun with hatchling on it.

Armor Mods:

  • Surges to buff The Call and Heavy. Also use Time Dilation.
  • Special Ammo Finder, Heavy Ammo Finder, Scavenger, and Reserve mods to keep The Call in ammo and get a bunch of ammo for your strand heavy weapon. Don't be shy about using these two weapons!
  • I built regen mods into grenades to keep threadlings flowing.
  • Generate orbs with Strand Siphon and Firepower mods.

ARTIFACT:

  • Elemental Siphon: Creates threadlings on strand weapon kills. When this is taken out one day you may want to switch Facets up as mentioned before.
  • Thread Blast: Holy smokes, shooting a tangle with The Call makes tangle nuke and creates two unraveling threadlings.
  • Radiant Orbs: When radiant your weapons get +25% dmg boost.
  • All the ability regen and buff stuff for prismatic
Gameplay Loop
  • Get an ability kill for Devour, I use Arcane Needle
  • Spam grenades and Phoenix Dive as much as you can.
  • Use The Call to further spread unravel and threadlings.
  • Destroy as many tangles as you possibly can.
  • Use super when it feels right on bigger targets.
  • Weave in Graviton Lance on large groups when you have volatile rounds up.
  • Use THE CALL for unstops and Graviton Lance for barriers.
  • You may have to switch Graviton Lance with something else if overload heavy content and teamates don't have anything to combat.
