Final blows with this weapon grant stacks of Gathering Light, improving guard stats and lunge range. Stowing this weapon consumes all stacks, granting melee, grenade, and class ability energy.

Armor

While you have a Stasis or Arc Super equipped, your Dodge becomes a longer range, faster moving shift that partially cloaks you during use. After shifting, your Stasis and Arc weapons gain a stacking damage bonus for a short time. Final blows with this bonus active refund class ability energy.

How It Works

What Mask of Bakris Does Now When you have an Arc or Stasis Super equipped, your dodge (class ability) is replaced with Shift, letting you quickly teleport a short distance.

Newly, after you Shift, you get a buff called Light Shift for 11 seconds, which increases Arc and Stasis weapon damage, as well as Lord of Wolves damage:

Starts at +10% damage,

Can increase to +20% and +30% as you continue using Shift during combat.

While Light Shift is active, getting weapon kills will give you back a large amount of dodge energy, letting you Shift more often. The more enemies you defeat with weapons, the more often you can Shift, keeping your damage buff up longer.

Weapons to Use To get the most out of Bakris, use a mix of Arc and Stasis weapons (or Lord of Wolves). Great exotic options include:

Graviton Spike (does both Arc and Stasis damage)

Riskrunner (Arc)

Ager’s Scepter (Stasis)

Conditional Finality (Stasis)

Thunderlord (Arc)

Queenbreaker (Arc)

Legendary weapons with Headstone or Chill Clip (Stasis), or Voltshot or Jolt traits (Arc) also work well.

Weapons with Strategist, Attrition Orbs, or Jolting Feedback traits will help you get ability energy back faster, keeping your abilities ready more often.

Why Prismatic Subclass? Prismatic gives you Radiance, which boosts weapon damage by +20%, stacking with Bakris’ Light Shift buff for even higher damage.

It also gives you access to Fragments like Facet of Hope, which increases dodge recharge rate:

+40% recharge with one elemental buff active (like Radiance),

+60% recharge with two buffs active (like Amplified + Radiance).

Key Aspects: Winter Shroud + Threaded Specter We use Winter Shroud so that when you Shift, you slow nearby enemies and get:

A 3-second buff giving +300% dodge recharge rate, helping you get Shift back faster.

+50% damage resistance right after Shifting, making you harder to kill.

We pair it with Threaded Specter, which leaves behind a decoy that draws enemy fire before exploding, distracting enemies so you can safely take them down with your weapons.

Armor Stats Focus Even with many ways to get dodge energy back, you should still prioritize class energy into our armor stats.

However, focusing on your weapon stats is just as important to maximize your weapon effectiveness and to increase Ammo drops.

If you can get your weapon stat to around 200, you can gain +15% extra primary and secondary weapon damage, making you much more lethal. You can always use Armor Charge mods (Armor Fonts) to help with your dodge energy if needed.

Why This Build Is Exciting Out of all the Hunter builds available, this Mask of Bakris build has incredible synergy. It makes your weapons stronger, keeps your dodge ability up almost constantly, and boosts your survivability while giving you high weapon damage.

This will let you clear enemies quickly while moving safely through any activity, making it a top-tier Hunter build you’ll want ready for any season.
