Destiny 2 Warlock BuildPrismatic Rime-Coat PERFECTED!
PvE[Alternate Weapon Action] to fire a special projectile that deploys a Ruinscribe Turret. This projectile costs 3 ammo to fire. Aim the projectile skyward to provide the clearest sight lines for the turret which will automatically shoot at nearby targets.
Your Bleak Watcher turrets are enhanced with extended range and are surrounded by Stasis crystals and a storm. While standing in the storm, you are granted icicles over time. Icicles activate when you fire your weapons, applying Slow to targets they hit.

💠BUILD OVERVIEW This Prismatic Warlock build is all about controlling the battlefield and making it easier to move, survive, and dominate—even in high-level content like Legend, Master, and beyond.
At the core of this build is the Rime Coat Raiment, a new exotic chest piece that takes the Bleak Watcher turret and cranks it up to 11.
🧊 WHY RIME COAT IS INSANE Normally, Bleak Watcher creates a turret that slows enemies. But with Rime Coat:
Your turret is overcharged and floats higher off the ground.
It can target enemies from farther away.
It creates a Stasis storm underneath it that slows enemies even more.
Around the storm, four crystals form that can block shots and explode for extra damage.
If you stand inside the storm, you get a tiny Stasis buddy that acts as a second turret, shooting enemies you aim at.
The crystals regrow after a few seconds, letting you use them over and over.
These turrets are super flexible:
Use them aggressively to freeze and shatter groups of enemies.
Or use them defensively to block incoming fire and heal up behind cover.
💥 WHY PRISMATIC > STASIS You can use this exotic with the regular Stasis subclass, but you’ll lose a lot of what makes the build special:
With Prismatic, we get Devour, which heals you and gives grenade energy when you get kills.
We also regenerate grenade energy faster based on enemy strength:
15% for red bars
Up to 40% for bosses and champions
With Stasis, you’d get Frost Armor—which is decent—but it doesn’t compare to the survivability and energy regen you get with Devour in Prismatic.
🧩 FRAGMENTS + SYNERGIES Here’s the Prismatic Fragment setup we’re using and why:
Facet of Ruin Increases shatter and ignition damage + bigger explosion radius. Great for comboing with Chill Clip, Headstone, or Incandescent.
Facet of Dawn Makes you Radiant when hitting with powered melee. Radiant = +20% weapon damage AND pierces Barrier shields. We use Arcane Needle for this—great range, and it also Unravels enemies.
Facet of Balance
Kill enemies quickly with Darkness abilities = +10% grenade energy
Do the same with Solar = +10% melee energy Helps you chain grenades and melees more often.
Facet of Courage +10% damage to Light-based abilities (like Scorch and Ignitions) when used on enemies that are Slowed, Frozen, Severed, or Unraveled.
Add in the Cauterized Darkness Artifact mod and you’ll get a 30% Solar damage boost against enemies debuffed by Darkness (like Slow, Unravel, etc).
🔥 SONG OF FLAME: THE SECRET WEAPON We’re using the Song of Flame Super instead of big damage Supers like Nova Bomb or Needlestorm.
Why?
It gives you 90% damage resistance while active.
You can spread Scorch like crazy, leading to tons of Ignitions.
It helps trigger Devour, Radiance, and keep your grenade loop going.
In harder content, survivability is key, and Song of Flame gives you that.
🧰 ARTIFACT MODS THAT MATTER Here are the key Artifact mods we’re using:
Shield Crush – When you’re Radiant, you get +25% grenade energy.
Elemental Coalescence – Killing enemies quickly spawns Firesprites, giving another 12.5% grenade energy.
Cauterized Darkness – Solar damage gets +30% vs debuffed enemies.
With these, your grenade regeneration is off the charts.
🎯 STATS & ARMOR TIPS Prioritize 100 Discipline to reduce grenade cooldowns.
If you’re having trouble reaching 100, use Grenade Font mods:
1 mod = +20 Discipline
2 mods = +40
3 mods = +50
Best armor sets to pair with this build:
Bushido Set 2-piece = Health regen on kills 4-piece = Damage resistance (works with Shotguns, Swords, Bows)
Collective Psyche Set Extends duration of Radiance, Devour, Unravel, etc. Longer Radiance = longer Shield Crush benefits = more grenades.
đź’Ž BEST EXOTIC WEAPONS TO PAIR All of these work great with this build:
Wicked Implement – Stasis synergy + slow
Dragon’s Breath – Solar + scorch and ignition
Polaris Lance / Sunshot / Verglas Curve / Ager’s Scepter
No Time To Explain – Adds a Kinetic turret buddy and is Barrier-capable
But my personal favorite? Finality’s Auger
It acts like a Solar turret, wiping out groups of enemies.
Its Catalyst gives it Bait and Switch, increasing your damage even more.
🛠️ LEGENDARY WEAPON RECOMMENDATIONS Look for weapons with these perks:
Stasis weapons with Chill Clip, Coldsteel, or Headstone
Solar weapons with Incandescent or Burning Ambition
Demolitionist – Gives grenade energy on kills + reloads your gun when you throw a grenade.
Blast Distributor – New perk that boosts grenade stats (up to +55!) after kills.
If your Discipline stat is low, Blast Distributor weapons can help you max out your grenade regen.
🧠FINAL THOUGHTS No matter what weapons you choose, this build is an unstoppable force.
Your enemies will be too busy dealing with turrets and explosions to fight back. You’ll be freezing, igniting, unraveling, and dominating every fight.
So if you haven’t tried the Rime Coat Raiment in Edge of Fate yet—now’s the time. This is easily one of the most powerful and versatile Warlock builds you can use.
Step 1: Charge/ Throw Stasis Turret at Enemies Step 2: Cast Rift Step 3: Use Arcane Needles to Trigger Radiance Step 4: Follow up with Weapons until Grenade Energy Returns Step 5: Cast Next Turret at Your Feet Step 6: Use Another Arcane Needle to Refresh Radiance. Step 7: Rotate Through Weapons. Step 8: Use Transcendence when Ready (create turret before activating) Step 9: Use Super when in danger (create turret before activating)
