If you’ve been struggling to find something reliable in the new expansion, I suggest trying Crest of Alpha Lupi. I didn’t expect much from it at first, but after using it, I’ve been impressed. This exotic has gotten me through some really tough fights.

How Crest of Alpha Lupi Works This exotic is all about your Class Ability — your Barricade or Thruster.

When you place a Barricade, you heal for 80 HP and get a 75 HP Overshield.

Allies within 12 meters also get these benefits.

If allies are nearby when you heal them, you get some Class Ability energy back — meaning faster Barricade cooldowns.

Even when you’re solo, the cooldown is still quick, so you’ll always have healing ready.

It doesn’t stop there — if you shoot from behind your Barricade and deal sustained weapon damage, you’ll create small bursts of healing for 30 HP. This doesn’t require kills — just keep shooting.

Drop your Barricade as often as possible.

Stay behind it while shooting enemies.

Best Subclass Pairing Crest of Alpha Lupi works on any subclass, but I love pairing it with Arc Titan for one big reason — Storm’s Keep.

Storm’s Keep lets you generate Bolt Charges, which shred enemies while you’re already safe behind your Barricade.

Arc Titan Setup Aspects:

Storm’s Keep – Generates Bolt Charges to damage enemies.

Knockout – Instantly heal when you melee-kill an enemy and become Amplified, giving:

Faster reloads and weapon handling

Aim for 100 Class Ability stat for fastest Barricade cooldown and +190% class energy gains.

Push weapon stats next for more damage output.

If possible, bring your weapon and class stats above 100, then use mods to boost your Super.

Bolstering Detonation – Class energy on grenade damage.

Insulation (Boots) – Class energy from Orbs.
