Destiny 2 Titan BuildThe INDESTRUCTIBLE ICEFALL MANTLE Titan!
PvEFinal blows with this weapon generate a slowing burst around the defeated target.
While you have a Stasis Super equipped, rapid Stasis final blows grant Frost Armor. You heal a small amount whenever you gain Frost Armor. Replaces your class ability with a burst of Stasis energy that freezes nearby combatants, slows nearby opponents, and grants you increased Frost Armor.

Build Details
Today, we’re diving into a Stasis Titan build that’s way stronger than most people expect right now. Stasis hasn’t always been the best choice, but thanks to some new Artifact mods and one very powerful Exotic armor piece, this setup is surprisingly effective in Ash and Iron.
That Exotic is Icefall Mantle. Instead of a normal Barricade, it gives you the Glacial Guard ability, which surrounds you in Stasis energy. This provides:
Stacks of Frost Armor for bonus damage resistance.
Free healing whenever Frost Armor is applied.
A crowd control effect, since activating your class ability slows and freezes nearby enemies.
Here’s the key loop:
Defeat enemies with Stasis weapons and abilities to build Frost Armor.
Each stack gives ~6% damage resistance, up to 8 stacks (50% total).
Each stack also heals you for 10 HP.
Using your class ability instantly gives you the max stacks, plus 80 HP instantly.
So, with Icefall Mantle, your class ability isn’t just defense anymore—it’s also healing, damage resistance, and crowd control all at once.
Stats to Focus On
Class Ability (Resilience) – Hit 100 points. This gives faster ability regen and bonus energy from Orbs of Power.
Weapon Stat (Discipline/Strength depending on loadout) – Focus here once Resilience is capped.
Grenades – Strong Glacial Grenades for freezing and shattering enemies.
Use Font mods if you need extra stats, and Weapon Surges for damage boosts.
Aspects & Fragments
We’re using:
Tectonic Harvest – Creates Stasis shards when you shatter frozen enemies. Collecting shards = more Frost Armor, more health, and melee energy.
Diamond Lance – Freezes enemies and creates Frost Armor when you land kills with it.
Fragments:
Whisper of Rime → Frost Armor lasts longer and gives more health.
Whisper of Bonds → Killing frozen enemies generates Orbs of Power.
Whisper of Fissures → Bigger shatter explosions.
Whisper of Torment → Grenade energy when taking damage.
Whisper of Hunger → More melee energy from shards.
This setup keeps your abilities cycling and constantly feeds you health + Frost Armor.
Artifact Mods
Some highlights:
Fever and Chill → Precision hits with Stasis weapons give extra Frost Armor.
Elemental Daze → Explosions and debuffs when stunning Champions.
Frigid Glare → Freezing explosions from Stasis weapon precision kills (when Frost Armor is active).
Elemental Overdrive → Extra Stasis weapon damage when picking up shards.
All of these make you tanky while also boosting your DPS and crowd control.
Weapons
Best Legendary picks:
Anything with Chill Clip, Headstone, or Cold Steel.
Crystalline Corpsebloom SMG (new Seraphine weapon that makes Stasis crystals).
Demolitionist/Strategist rolls to feed grenade and class ability uptime.
Best Exotics:
Ager’s Scepter (great DPS alternative to your Super).
Wicked Implement (consistent shard generation).
Conditional Finality or Cryosthesia as strong Stasis side options.
(A shame Verglas Curve doesn’t hit hard enough, since shard generation would fit perfectly here.)
Final Thoughts
Even though Stasis Titans have been nerfed in the past, Icefall Mantle brings them back in a big way. This build gives you:
High survivability through Frost Armor and healing.
Reliable crowd control with freezing and shattering.
Plenty of damage potential thanks to mods and weapon synergy.
If Bungie ever makes Icefall Mantle share Frost Armor with teammates, it would be insane—but even right now, it’s one of the strongest Titan Exotics you can use in Ash and Iron.
Step 1: Throw Grenade at Ranged Enemies Step 2: Cast Class Ability against closer range Enemies. Step 3: Use Powered Melee after Freezing Enemies. Step 4: Follow up with Weapons until abilities are back Step 5: Pick up and Throw ALL Diamond Lances Step 6: Stay Mobile... You Need to Collect Shards Step 7: Super is... Meh... Don't Use when Barrier Champions are on field. Otherwise, use against High Value Targets and Dense Groups of Enemies.
